We’re honored to share the cuisine and culture of Lebanon in the heart of New York City. Since 2007, our home in the Flatiron District has introduced the passion and generosity of the Lebanese table to hundreds of thousands of curious diners while comforting native Lebanese guests with a celebration of their homeland and values. Owner and Executive Chef Philippe Massoud expertly crafts a sophisticated blend of modern and traditional Lebanese cuisine drawing influences from the span of the ancient Silk Road trade routes.
Our warm and generous hospitality drives our mission to make every guest and team member feel genuinely welcomed and fundamentally honored.
We are here to share; to pass fresh pita bread and mezze amongst old friends and new; to celebrate life and its delicious bounty. We invite you to experience our old world hospitality, timeless generosity, and tireless dedication to uncovering and sharing the rich traditions of Lebanon and the Levant.

This is one of our favorite places and it was amazing. Mustafa is a superb server and the whole staff was terrific.
Very good food, the tasting menu is just way too much 😆good wine as well
Terrible service! They gave us our apetizers and 1 hour later (waay after having finished the apetizers) our waitress came to tell us that they did not have our main plate, the suck shwarma!! They couldn't have told us that before we waited for an hour?? We were patient because we still had quite a bit of food coming and were so hungry. So, we substituted for the Kebab which was fine. When we got all of our food and asked for the check, we realized they had charged us for both the duck and the kebab AND the falafel that we realized had never arrived! So, we ended up not trying two of the dishes we wanted. The rest of the food was fine, nothing to ride home about. The waitress did not offer anything to counterbalance the bad service and attention (side note, there were like two other tables at the restaurant...).
Perhaps we ordered the wrong dish. We had the Loup de Mer claimed to serve 3 pp. It was just a regular size Branzino which is not an expensive fish from Mediterranean. This dish costs $78 with some veg which other restaurants charge half the price. Felt ripped off. The appetizer of stuffed grape leaves is good but again over-priced. Not impressed at all.
Excelente comida libanesa, auténtica, muy abundante. Excelente para compartir. Muy buena calidad. Delicioso
Great food and great service! We got there very early but the bartender Mark welcomed us with very nice drinks and entertaining conversation
Musto, our waiter, was very charming and helpful. Appetizers were particularly delicious. It’s always consistently good!
Fabulous dinner. Broccoli and lamb meatballs were amazing. Only wished they would have staggered the serving of the food, and did not like being sat in their side room.
The food and service were great! The place is noisy.
Call the restaurant to confirm your reservation! I made a reservation through OpenTable for 8:15 and when I arrived at the restaurant they said that they had no openings until 10:15.
This place is fine. It used to be amazing but it looks like they cut their portion sizes in half (from already being small). Our favorite dish, the chankleesh, is 1/4 of the size it used to be and is still the same price and was disappointing. They weren't on their game this time. They also say us in the annex as well. Not cool especially for how expensive it is.
Everything was wonderful, except for our seating. We were in the annex, not the main ding room. It is a bit like sitting at the kids’ table at family meals. Main dining room is highly preferable.
wonderful and authentic Lebanese food!
Ilili is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Anyone who loves Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine should treat themselves to a dinner at Ilili. The Lebanese cuisine is a meld of Arab, Greek, & Turkish influences with a bit of French thrown in. The amazing array of hot and cold mezze can serve as a meal by itself. My favorite is the humbly titled “warm eggplant” mezze which is thin slices of slightly chewy eggplant “chips” with a wonderful flavoring with tamarind syrup. Ilili service is polished and attentive. The waiter and the head waiter/floor manager inquired twice about whether one of our party’s food allergy meant that he could not have anything that came into contact with that problematic food (is cooked on the same surface) or was limited to just the food itself. They have a large but warmly lit dining room that can accommodate groups, a large yet cozy bar area and a tented room upstairs if you want to enhance the overall Middle East vibe. Reservations are a must.
As Always Ilili brinca the best food with the best service!!! Tia no you!!!
I get Lebanese food is heavily spiced, but literally every dish we ordered was. There was no reprieve from the spiciness. Was good, not great food. I wish they would put down some rugs or tablecloths as the loud acoustics mad it difficult to have normal or enjoyable conversation. It took 15 minutes for a server to come over, after I had to remind the hostess that we had been sitting for some time. The server that came over told us she wasn’t our server but she’d help out....we never were helped by anyone else. This place would be great for some cocktails and a small bite, not so much for dinner.
Beautiful space, less than inspired food. Very pricey too. Some dishes nice (falafel, fries) others were mediocre (hummus, cauliflower, salad). Had so much potential but fell short.
Beautiful Space, Phenomenal food. After a show we had to change our dinner reservation to an earlier time which was not a problem, even with my requests. Had a Drink with Michael at the Bar, he was friendly, welcoming and can make a Mean Mezcal margarita. Coming in between Brunch and Dinner in NY sometimes is a hit or miss being that restaurants are transitioning food Menus, our waiter Dimitrio notified us about some dishes that took more time and pointed out otger dishes that are recomended and favored, like the Brussel Sprouts and Kebab Kerez. GET THEM! Amazing! The rest of the staff seamed attentive and did check up on us to see if everything was alright.
It was fantastic and exceeded expectations. Would certainly recommend.
Sadly, this use to be one of my favorite restaurant and would always dine when I visit NYC. The food has become average and not worth the $$$, the service is hit or miss. There are couple of waiters who are amazing and know the menu but lately the 2 people that served us didn't know much about the food and called Zaatar a pizza and Kennefeh a cheese tart (for a minute we forgot that we are dining at a Lebanese restaurant but rather at a french or Italian establishment, hmmmm). Perhaps management should educate their staff better. So Au revoir, Ciao, Ma'a Alsalameh illili, this foodie enthusiast won't be coming back.
We were 2 couples. We shared mezze plates and one main course, enjoying the opportunity to taste many dishes. Everything we ordered was wonderful other than a glitch in our dessert, which was then comped. We will be back
They are so accommodating to all dietary needs and their food is delicious!
Very good food at a very nice restaurant
Drinks are little expensive for their potency.
Fabulous dishes, great flavors and spicing, great service. On the pricey side
A friend in our party is allergic to gluten and refined sugar; the waitress was very rude about the restaurant’s ability to accommodate for these food allergies. If this is the case, the restaurant should make advance notice of this on their website. The waitress also tried to rush me and my toddler out of our table by saying would you like me to box the food when there were only a couple bites on my toddler’s plate and I was trying to have her finish. Perhaps it was just the specific waitress we had, but the service was very cold and poor, especially given the high-priced menu items. I will not return nor recommend! There are plenty of better Lebanese restaurants in the city.
We had such a wonderful dinner with our server, Mert. He made our experience special and suggested great items and pairings. The manager was very helpful in selecting a wonderful bottle of red wine and they attentively never let our glasses get empty. The whole chicken was prepared tableside and it was delicious. Will definitely be coming back!
Hi! We're very glad to hear that you had an amazing time with Mert. I'll make sure to pass the message along. We look forward to having you dine with us again soon! Best, Melanie Acuña General Manager
