1-We were served cold mixed grill. I 2-I had to ask the server to stop kicking my chair whenever he served at the following table. No apology. 3- The Fries, an appetizer, came at the end of the meal after a few inquiries. That too cold and semi-cooked.

We loved the food overall, but we were 6 people who ordered a lot of food and were placed on the smallest table, even though I made the reservation way ahead of time, it felt crowded and not appropriate. Even though I am a regular, our guests were German an it felt like we got sat down at the 'tourist table', the least desirable table int he restaurant. Disappointing.

Ilili is a great Mediterranian restaurant. It has beginner, intermediate and some advanced dishes. Advanced dishes like Kibbe Naye are amazing (land sushi). Basics like tabouleh are good and for those new to the cuisine. I wish they would bring back Roasted Bone Marrow. They had this years ago and probably too many Manhattan Vegans were squeamish. Bone Marrow is an advanced Lebanese dish and delicious. I wish they would also include Bamia. This is an amazing Lebanese / Syrian Lamb Stew. A knockout you find in just a few places. And not now at Ilili.

The small plates were delicious and so were black cod and lamb chops. Brussels sprouts were good but I prefer the earlier recipe that were crispy and don’t have mint yogurt. One thing that I don’t like at all is when the server comes and tells you to leave after your past hour and 45 minutes with 3 dinner. This last bit will keep us from coming for a relaxed meal. When the meal and company is good you don’t want to eat in a hurry.

We had not been to Ilili since 2018. We are so glad we revisited. We had a nice leisurely lunch, with Lebanese white wine, which was delicate and smooth, and several shared dishes, all of them delicious! Make sure to order the garlic whip - it is extra creamy and smooth - especially delicious. Our server - John- was perfect - attentive but not overbearing.

This is one of those jewels of NYC. I was scrolling around OpenTable and saw great reviews. Then I saw they were really full - but we managed to grab a table. Boy, am I glad we did. The staff is not only good, but they are also FUN. Fully engaged and very helpful. The moment you complete a dish someone is sweeping that plate off your table. And the food is magnificent. I love to see entrepreneurs succeed and after 15 years in business, this team has it going better than ever. Give 'em a try and you will be delighted you did!

Excellent, differentiated food. Always high quality and fresh. Service was excellent; it was attentive without being overbearing. It’s a beautiful room, but a bit noisy. They had no problem accommodating our large party, and everyone made us feel welcome. We will eat here as often as we can.

First let me tell you this got to be the best Lebanese food we had in ages. Top notch cuisine and well worth the detour if you love Lebanese food. Service was really very good and attentive. Its expensive in particular the wine list, with good options but very high price. Very energetic and noisy place, hence our 4 stars.

I initially walked in the restaurant and the host wanted me to wait for half an hour for an inside table, as she said the restaurant was full. Which was not true, it was empty. I then booked a table on Opentable for that exact time, when she realized I knew she was lying to me. I was with my two kids and really felt she had some kind of prejudice. Really bad way to treat a client.

We took a nephew and his wife out for dinner. On a whim, we selected ilili because of its location in NOMAD and cuisine (Lebanese). It looked like a good place and we've been eager to add some places to our diminished rotation of Manhattan restaurants (not going in for dinner as often as we used to). We had a wonderful time - we stuck to the mezze side of the menu and had a GREAT meal. Attentive and friendly service, delicious food, great drinks (a wee bit on the small side), and a beautiful environment. Standout plates included the duck shawarma, kibbeh naye beirutieh (steak tartare), and the fattoush, among others. We were seated in the large central room at a large round table. While the space could use a few more acoustic absorbers, it did lend an energetic vibe to the evening. Very glad we tried something new!

I don’t recommend if you’re only two, because the small tables are very very close to each other. I nearly dropped a plate from the next table when I was trying to reached my chair. Food and service are great but the noise is unbearable! Usually we talk during dinner but this time we finish asap just to leave. I wanted to try their dessert but we couldn’t stay longer in such noise. We’re familiar with lively restaurants but yesterday was not lively it was really noisy and annoying it felt that we were sitting on the same table with the people next to us.. If you’re a group go for it! But if you’re only two like us stay away because you’re table will be very small and close to other small tables.
