   A favorite. A few weeks ago, I had a group of 25+ people for dinner. The food was the typical - outstanding, and the service was lights out great. All of the guests, some local, many out of towners, were extremely satisfied and complimentary of the food and attention to detail. It was a wonderful experience then, and a great experience for just the 2 person lunch meeting yesterday. Consistently wonderful service and food.

   The place is nice but the food was not up to what one would expect for the price point. Clams were fishy, seemed like they didn’t drain the pasta so what was described as olive oil and garlic was just a watery mess. Meatballs were okay and polenta needed salt to make the flavor pop. Pasta was good but sauce and clams were terrible. Service was seriously sub standard. We were there for more than 2 hours and nobody even checked on us for last hour. Server seemed overwhelmed and probably had too many tables. She was trying (I think) but couldn’t keep up. Management was walking around but not making sure people were taking care of. Took my wife for her birthday and seriously disappointed with the experience.

   This place is AMAZING! Excellent service. The wine selection was top notch. We had Calamari and the grilled octopus for appetizers. My husband had the grilled pork chop and I had the scallop risotto special. Everything was cooked to perfection. Our server was very attentive. We will be back for sure when we arr in the area.     During out visit to Cleveland we decided ro eat at this place. It’s part of the Cleveland Marriott hotel in downtown and in front of the convention center and the Tower City district. Amazing italian food and service. 100% recommended

    Wife and both did the daily specials, ordered Ravioli with spinach only got 10 very small squares, and the wife got the Hallibot that was bit bland. Others around us got other specials with much much more quantity, some had the same as us equally were disappointed. For the price should have gotten more. Waiter aKSI messed up our app order and Tried to charge us for it. Other than the app we did order was great deserts and wine selection was good. Would still recommend, probably ask what portion sizes are before ordering.

    Thoroughly enjoyable! It was lovely to have a dining experience that allowed us to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. Octopus was delicious as well as all of our entrees. Excellent cocktails and wine list too. Jesus our waiter was fantastic and very attentive which made my Mother’s Day special.

    The food is really good. For an upscale restaurant the entire ambience and the service are to casual and lack class. There should not be loud music or a sports TV in an upscale restaurant.

    We had an amazing time dining on a Saturday evening. The only thing I would change is the amount of food I could eat! The atmosphere is charming and elegant. It is not too loud even when full. We made reservations easily on open table and I made a note that it was my boyfriends birthday and they brought him out these cream puffs with a birthday message! Our server was wondering and attentive, my water was never empty for more than a moment! You will absolutely want to take your time eating here so you can experience all of the courses. We arrived for a late dinner around 8 and left around close at 11pm. We started off with the eggplant rollatini and wagyu beef appetizers. They were both delicious. They also served bread and oil for dipping which was perfect. I ordered the rack of veal (medium) which is served with scalloped potatoes and broccoli. My boyfriend ordered the veal Parmesan which is served with spaghetti. We got to try some of the other pasta dishes as well. Now when I tell you this veal was to DIE FOR, I am not kidding. Both of our veals were cooked perfectly. Mine was lightly crunchy on the outside and the inside was just a little pink (exactly how I wanted it) and melted in my mouth. I have had veal many times before (even in Italy) and this was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The desserts were just as good. The tiramisu and gelato were both amazing. Every time I took bite of something my first thought was “OMG!” The drinks were equally as good. I had a glass of Prosecco, and a Bellini which was delicious. My boyfriend had a very cool smoked bourbon drink that they serve with a cover and then let out real wood smell. Overall, our experience was amazing. It was definitely worth the amount of money spent on this meal. You get what you pay for! Also, special shout out to Chef Jose for making our apps and other dishes!

    I’m normally not impressed with fancy Italian places, but this spot hit the mark. I’m from San Diego and we have several to Italian spots, and Venetian is right There. The 4.8 stars are legit. The agnolotti was phenomenal. Filet was an outstanding piece of meat. My buddy moved his ribeye.

    We have been to Il Venetian several times and have had mostly good experiences. We went yesterday and the service was very slow. It took 80 minutes to get appetizers and dinner, we ended up being late to our show at Playhouse.

    From start to finish, service was superb. Sommelier knows his craft, offering excellent pairings recommendations for each dish. Chef offered a scallop special with a crafty mix of al dente wild rice and collard greens and roasted red pepper purée that took our breath away. What you’ve heard about the Venetian is true.     Visited 4/28/23 for my wife's birthday dinner. I was excited because their website says that they were voted best Italian restaurant in Ohio. There were some good things and some not so good things about our meals. Our waiter Joey was excellent. Very personable and pleasant and explained everything. I chose one of the most popular dishes. The pasta was cooked well but the meatballs and sausage I didn't care for. They didn't have much taste. I'm not even sure what type of meat was in either of them. My wife had an interesting dish which I don't find in many places so if unique dishes interest you than this may be your place. She ordered the special which featured black ink squid pasta. A very dark looking noodle paired with a creamy sauce. My wife liked her meal. Since it was her birthday, they did bring out a few cream puffs with a candle on a plate with chocolate that spelled out happy birthday. I very nice touch to the evening. As far as parking, we parked in the underground public parking area directly across from the restaurant which is located in the Marriott. You never have to go outside since there is an entrance directly into the building. Parking cost was $10.

    Really enjoyed the food here. Eggplant app and calamari were very tasty and good portion. The star of the show was the bone in veal parm, a massive and delicious entree. The service was very attentive and friendly as well.
