Consistently great food. Everything we ordered was delicious and the waiters are excellent.
The food is excellent, and the service is top notch, far exceeded our expectations.
This was our second visit and it was just as wonderful as the first time, the food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was great!
My husband and I went to Il Toscano with another couple for cocktails and dinner and had a wonderful evening from beginning to end! Can’t wait to revisit for another fabulous experience!
My now fiancee' and I have been to Il Toscano many times. The food has never disappointed and did not on this occasion. Miller, our waiter, is very knowledgeable regarding the wine list and he has never steered us wrong. It was the perfect setting after our engagement. Reservations are a must on the weekend. The maitre d' should look more closely at the reservations. I'll give him a pass this time since it was such a busy night. I highly recommend Il Toscano.
Beautiful and authentic Tuscan cuisine where the food and service is outstanding! The seared foie gras for starter was incredible and their lobster dish for main course is amazing. Recommend to order the lobster out of the shell - either way it's fantastic. Great wine menu as well. The Nero D'Avola Feudi del Piscioto from Sicily is amazing if you like heavy full bodied wines. Great dining experience - highly recommended
The wait for the food was more than 20 mins. At the end the waiter chases out the door because he wanted more tips. No reason for that.
Food always great service VERY slow maybe they were overbooked
The food was okay., but very overpriced. My main issue was the service. It was SO SLOW. I waited 25 minutes to get the check. This place is a one and done. I won’t be returning.
Service was not up to par. Waiters did not deliver food to proper customers.
Food was excellent, service was professional. Can't wait to go again.
The food here is always superb, as well as interesting--always something new. The scallops appetizer was exceptional, as was, as always, the calamari fritti.
Foods and service are excellent!
Never disappointed by a meal at Il Toscano! Impeccable food and service.
birthday celebration. good food. good service. i enjoyed it a lot. will go back anytime.
Excellent food and excellent value for their Sunday night family menu. Same professional atmosphere and service as every other night but at a reasonable price to bring the family
Tables are on top of one another. Ordered the Lobster - two 1 lb lobsters outside the shell. Expected just the lobster meat and butter for dipping - instead had a plate of breaded lobster pieces. Would have expected some prior info on what to expect as to the meals preparation. At $65, was very disappointing.
Loud room. Over priced.
Our first time there and probably our last.
Love dining here. Each time we go there's always something on the specials menu that seems like one of the best things I have ever eaten. Wait staff is very professional and the timing of the meal is always spot on. Will be going back.
Always amazing and authentic Tuscan dinner. Service is outstanding.
Absolutely love Il Toscano! Haven’t been for awhile but so happy I came back!!!
Great service even better food, you get what you pay for. Would recommend to friends and family. Had the lobster , loved it. I’ll will definitely revisit.
Consistently excellent food and service!
Very nice dinner with some couples. Reserved table was available at the time we asked. Waiters were all very attentive. Food was very good. Everyone enjoyed their dinner and dessert. We went for the Sunday pre-fixe menu. Drinks and wine a little on the pricey side. Overall a nice place.
Perfect time with the perfect ambiance. Favorite place every time
This was as perfect as a dinner could get. I made my reservation on Open Table, explaining it was my wife's birthday.
We arrived an hour earlier than our reservation but were seated without hesitation. We were given two choices of tables and chose a table for 2 versus a larger one for 4.
My wife ordered a Pinot Noir, which was a large pour and delicious, while I had Makers on the rocks.
We were brought a basket of assorted breads, which is served cold with bottles of oil and balsamic vinegar.
We always share our dishes, which is our built-in way of cutting calories.
We started with the steamed mussels, which were amazing. Incredibly flavorful with onions, red peppers, jalapenos and apple wood bacon in the sauce. We needed another bread basket just to sop up all that delicious juice.
Then we shared the arugula and endive salad, also perfect, with honey crisp apples, pecans, cranberries, goat cheese in a vinegarette. Excellent!
Our main course was the lasagna bolognese. Wow. Huge portion and it literally melts in your mouth - so flavorful and delicious.
The waitstaff was attentive in just the right degree, neither too much or too little. For dessert, our waiter explained the options and we chose the Napoleon after reading so many reviews extolling its virtues.
A few minutes later, the entire staff came over singing Happy Birthday to my wife. I appreciated that they let us choose the dessert rather than making the choice for us.
Every rave review for this Napoleon is well-deserved. It is the lightest cream I've ever tasted and disappears as it hits your tongue. The crust is crispy, flaky and super fresh.
My wife was over the moon with the entire experience and it was a perfect, memorable evening. Kudos to the chef and the staff for a job well done!
The food is consistently good, which is the main thing you want in a restaurant, however the prices have gone up significantly. They are charging fine dining prices for a restaurant that isn't quite fine dining. Waitstaff is friendly and attentive, but definitely not on par with servers in fine dining establishments. Food is very good, not great, and the owner is friendly and always walking the floors and checking up on the regulars, which is a nice tough. The decor is pretty dated and could use some serious refreshing and the menu is a little frantic and lacks a bit of creativity. Italian staples such as Lasagna sit beside Asian preparations on seafood, so there is no consistency as far as a theme. For neighborhood regulars this is probably a welcomed comfort, but for the occasional diner and foodie you hope for some upward modifications.
We have NEVER had a bad meal at il Tuscano.
The service is always first rate and friendly. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Italian food.
We went on the worst dining out night, New Years Eve. We were waiting a half an hour for our table, and it wasn't a bother. Hung out at the bar for drinks. The main room was very crowded and energetic. Its a tight squeeze amongst the tables but it makes for a good vibe. The food was delivered timely and delicious. For some reason we don't go here often enough. Its really worth the extra drive time in the car.
Always very good.
We are never disappointed. Went on New Year’s Eve and many restaurants are so-so on that date. Il Toscano was amazing!
The service was moderate to poor. We had an early time for dinner, (6pm) and we were clearly being rushed to order and vacate. While I was in the restroom, they attempted to remove my plate, with at least a half a meal remaining, my friends had to stop the waiter. Food was a real disappointment, I had their Signage dish of angry lobster, it was bland to say the least. Nice ambiance, however
