We are open for outdoor dining only where we do have awnings and heaters. Dressing for dining al fresco is still recommended.

We have socially distanced all our tables and require masks as per law. Masks are required at check in and when speaking to staff.

    Came here last year for our anniversary - it was great. Went back this year and not good at all. Food was horrible, noisy and hot with 5 heat lamps baking you from the inside out. We wanted to enjoy a cool Carmel evening and all the gear lamps were blasting. Waiter not attentive. Will not be back.

    Absolutely impressed. My wife is Italian/Sicilian and she loved absolutely everything we ordered. The wine recommended by the waiter paired PERFECTLY with the delicious fresh parsley in our dishes. The staff (hostess + wait staff) were kind, accommodating, and very pleasant to interact with. I requested a minor modification to a dish and they accommodated me beautifully and didn’t make me feel weird about wanting something different. I’ll DEFINITELY be coming back!

    This is a wonderful restaurant. Perfect in every way. The ragu superb. Make sure you try the zucchini with olive oil. Sounds simple but it’s so good.

    Saltimbocca was terrible veal was like shoe leather I wonder if it really was veal! Appetizers were very average. No flavor. Raviolis were terrible no flavor First glass of barola wine was flat. Fish was fair Lasagna was off the shelf. Thrown into a microwave Flowerless chocolate cake was ok Good thing it is car week and most of the customers Won’t return. I live over the hill in San Jose and you won’t see me again. Good luck and thank you for taking our money you won’t see any more of it

    The food was delicious. It is really cute tucked in a courtyard. The only negative was that the inside table was incredibly loud and all the tables weren’t even full, probably better to sit outside.

    Some of the best Italian food we have every had… including our annual visits to Italy. Excellent courtyard, strong wine list and craft pasta. The ingredients are brought over by the owner and his family often works here. Great spot!

    Excellent food, the experience made our weekend! We had the zucchini blossom, Paccheri with ragu and fresh fish special. Flourless cake was awesome too. Great wines Salvatore was best server and suggested the perfect wine. Were from Italy originally and no question this is the Best Italian in Carmel!! We will go every time we're in Carmel, best find, Laura & Stefano

    We celebrated my mom’s 60th birthday in Carmel, and booked dinner here in ll Tegamino. We had wonderful service, great food, and the staff brought out a dessert for my mom at the end, and sang happy birthday. It was a great experience overall and my mom felt really special, so thank you everyone!

    How could we have missed this delightful place all of these years of. Visiting Carmel? What a cute, cozy spot, and the food was so yummy! Salads were fresh, well dressed, veal scallopini was thoroughly enjoyed, and totally consumed by 2 of our 4-some and the other 2 had the melanzani and the veal shank and risotto ( the latter plenty for 2 meals!). Also had the lemoncello mascarpone dessert and one of the chocolate desserts. Both were also excellent.

    The pastas were excellent and if you want an Italian wine there are many choices. Would not recommend eating “in the courtyard” - we were up against a fence, on a brick floor which made the table tippy. Zero atmosphere there. We were overcharged for an item, which makes for an awkward ending to an otherwise mostly pleasant experience.

    We ordered the fried Zucchini . It was black zucchini in olive oil . It was described to us as having herbs, mint and balsamic vinaigrette. It was flavorless and just too much olive oil. The fish of the day was ok but again no salt or seasoning. I asked what the greens of the day as an appetizer was . The waitress should have told us that it was a side with certain entrees, especially the entree I ordered . Good thing I didn’t order it as an appetizer . It was described as kale sautéed with raisins and pine nuts. My portion had 1 pine nut and 2 raisins and was just bland. My pork saltimbocca had poorly cooked ham ( not crisped ) very very very little sage and could they spare the cheese? We were very disappointed in the quality of the food , service was just ok. We asked for the whole grain bread and it never came. Would not recommend !!

    We had an ok dinnner! I was so excited to try this place! I felt rushed and the waitress came back every two minutes! They tried to take the food away twice when it was obvious we weren’t finished! The ravioli was great but too small of a portion. The seafood linguini was ok, I’ve had better. The ambience inside was not good! All in all from what we were told we expected an amazing dinner and it was just ok!☹️
