Since I was 13 years old, I've been in the restaurant industry. I started in my grandfather’s restaurant & worked my way up to running one of the most successful restaurants in NYC - Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. My grandfather worked his way up in the restaurant industry in the 1930's and '40s and in 1942 opened his first Italian restaurant, The Sorrento. When it came time to name our new restaurant, we decided on IL Sorrento in honor of my grandfather. I know my grandparents & my mom are smiling down on us with approval. I've lived in Westchester since 1984 & have always dreamed about opening an Italian restaurant here .. now the dream is a reality. My family & I believe that having a successful restaurant is a simple formula - give people what they want: Good Food, Good Service and Good Value. At IL Sorrento, we are embracing old world charm of Southern Italy & bringing it to Westchester County. Our hope is that you will enjoy being at IL Sorrento as much as we will enjoy serving you

    Although we had reservations, we were stuck in a two-see table next to the bar kind of out of the rest of the dining room, which I was not too happy about. He told me the dining room was only for large parties, but I did see some other two tops in there. Although maybe it was a blessing in disguise because the dining room was very loud. I would have liked to be able to see what other people were having though as that helps me make decisions and we couldn't really see anything where we were sitting. That being said, the service was very good, despite the fact that they tended to forget we were there. Sometimes. I really enjoyed my roasted beat salad and thought soul oreganata was excellent. I was very happy that the spinach risotto actually had spinach in it that I could discern and enjoy (because a lot of times they say there's a vegetable a risotto it and there's really no vegetable). My husband loved his spaghetti and meatball and Caesar salad. I'm willing to give them another shot, not on Mother's Day and with a larger party so we can sit in the main room.

    The food was delicious and the service was great. Leo was attentive and friendly. Overall a fantastic dining experience.

    It was a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and there are many good choices. I had striped bass special and it was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    Myself and my family have had dinner at this restaurant four times. Each time is as good as the first time. I’ll Sorrento is my favorite restaurant
