Since I was 13 years old, I've been in the restaurant industry. I started in my grandfather’s restaurant & worked my way up to running one of the most successful restaurants in NYC - Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. My grandfather worked his way up in the restaurant industry in the 1930's and '40s and in 1942 opened his first Italian restaurant, The Sorrento. When it came time to name our new restaurant, we decided on IL Sorrento in honor of my grandfather. I know my grandparents & my mom are smiling down on us with approval. I've lived in Westchester since 1984 & have always dreamed about opening an Italian restaurant here .. now the dream is a reality. My family & I believe that having a successful restaurant is a simple formula - give people what they want: Good Food, Good Service and Good Value. At IL Sorrento, we are embracing old world charm of Southern Italy & bringing it to Westchester County. Our hope is that you will enjoy being at IL Sorrento as much as we will enjoy serving you

Il Sorrento has become our Italian restaurant of choice over the past 3 or 4 months. The fish has been delicious as has the pasta and various forms of chicken. Albios has become a very attentive and warm server. We look forward to another visit later on this week. Congratulations to Nik and the chef.

We had a marvelous dinner. The short ribs and "special of the day" lasagna were out of this world. Attentive service and lovely decor added to the outstanding dining experience. And, for anyone with celiac disease - while there were not GF designations on the menu, the chef will prepare your choice gluten free if it is possible. Delicious!

A real pleasant surprise. Friends of ours have been raving about Il Sorrento, which is relatively new, but until we tried it, one is never sure. Service is top-notch, food is excellent, and prices are fair (nice wine list with a lot of reasonably priced wines). We'll be back.

Dined at IL Sorrento to celebrate Father's Day. The restaurant did not disappoint. The food was fresh and delicious and the wait staff could not be more accommodating. Looking forward to going back soon.
