A most enjoyable dinner with wonderful service. Food was very good and there was an expansive selection of wines available.

We decided that we should go here for dinner. While I had been there once before many years ago, my guest had never been but wanted to try it. From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel both welcome and as if we had been regulars for year. All of the tables were full with people also sitting at the bar, I would presume waiting for tables. There was a good reason, the food, service and overall experience that we had exemplified the reason that there was so many people there. I had asked for a quiet table in my booking, and we couldnt have received a better location. We were tucked into a corner, which for us was perfect. The waiting staff were attentive without being smothering, and knew exactly when to come and when to give us space. The printed menu itself is limited with some classics, but the real menu is the specials for the night and there were many varied dishes on that list. We were amazed by the recollection skills of our waitress to recall all of the details of all of those specials. The food itself was outstanding and perfect service. Stating with antipasti and then pappardelle with slow cooked pork cheek, and a risotto with nothing that could be faulted. We will be going back and it will be a lot quicker for me than the last time. It will

Thus place never disappoints. The food is always consistently good, the staff are always friendly and helpful. We also love the ambience. We were celebrating a special birthday as well as a normal one and the staff made both memorable.

We had a lovely evening out for my husbands birthday, returning after a long time since we used to visit in our 20s. We were greeted at the door by the delightful, happy and welcoming owner and had just the right amount of attention from the wait staff. The food - risotto of the day and gnocchi WERE TO DIE FOR - so delicious! Thank you il solito posto!

Haven’t been here for a while - forgot how great it was - had a fantastic spaghetti dish with a tangy trevally sauce - delicious
