More than expected. Amazing pasta and bread. Everything was delicious.
Entrees came before appetizer, which they nicely comp’ed without us asking. Water refills were slow and waitress was making lots of excuses as she worked which was a strange way to approach interactions with customers. Also, how does an Italian restaurant run out of the bread service by 7:30pm?
Very disappointing
Portions were small and prices were high for the size. The pasta they served me looked like a kids portion
Sauce is good, but they were also out of their speciality mozzarella
I can not recommend this place

Family reunion
We were seated near the exposed “kitchen” and the continuous smell of fish cooking was off putting. Other than that it was a very nice dinner.
The music was so loud that we couldn't hear each other. Would not return even though the service was good. Food was only so.so. but turn down the music!
Had a nice warm olive appy and shared a crab linguine that was remarkable. Thanks to the great server for recommendations. Of course a couple of glasses of red wine. YUM
Absolutely exceeded all expectations! Can’t wait to return!
We started with the bruschetta, which was different, borlotti beans with a giardinera topping, and quite good. The penne alla vodka was one of the best I have had. Dessert of apple crisp topped with vanilla ice cream, and cappuccinos topped a very lovely meal. Our server was very good and very knowledgeable about the menu.

Simply outstanding in every way- but Most of all Chef Matthew Sigler’s food was intricate, full of flavor, and so creative. One of the best meal’s I have had in a long time! Can’t wait to go back :)

Short menu that changed often. We had the Charcuterie tray and it was very well prepared. I had the Venison Shank Papardelle with Parsnips, excellently done.

Phenomenal staff, food, location and ambiance. The best Italian meal we have eaten since a recent trip to Italy. Worth every penny!
Ordered drinks that never came, ordered raviolis and got 8 raviolis only in a $20-25 plate.
We were there for a business dinner and it was perfect. Food was delicious, wait staff was knowledgeable and courteous, and we felt very well treated. Make sure to order the mozzarella sticks - not my typical order but they make the mozzarella here and it's the best I've had. Pasta is a sure thing and Caesar salad with anchovies were a definite hit.
The food was amazing. The service was also amazing. It was a great experience.
Excellent food. We had the fried spaghetti which was amazing. We were in the back close to the kitchen, and that, as well as noise surrounding us, made it almost impossible to have a conversation. However, we did love it and will be back, and next time know it is not a place for quiet conversation!

I don’t under the high rating. This was the worst Italian meal that I have had in years. Every dish was dry and over cooked especially the pasta. Awful sauces.
Fabulous Italian near Pioneer Square area, food is excellent and prepared with a little twist.

The pork collar which was a special for the night was hands down the best pork I have ever eaten! The ambiance at Il Solito I found to be odd and the service was good but not great.
