   We have found our go to Italian restaurant. Our meals were wonderfully well prepared, the atmosphere was lively but not overwhelming and our wait person was attentive and intuative.

   Out of beer we wanted, out of nuts for salad and drinks took too long to get. Lasagna appeared to be made with no boil noodles and Chef Boyardee sauce. Really not worth 23 bucks. Presentation terrible as well due to this little cast iron dish which was impossible to get lasagna bites out of. Watery, no flavor and no vegetables other than what appeared to be one mushroom. Sorry for bad review but it was not good. It would not be my pick for Italian food. Spaghetti and meatballs...why not that on the menu. Just do basics and do them well.

   Excellent meal! Small menu. Excellent service but as they got busier service slowed. Staffing seemed low.

   Only place that had a 6:00 reservation on valentines day, so we were nervous. It was great! Great food, great service. Very happy with the experience. Got there a bit early and stopped by the adjoining Hood River distillery for some tastings. Very nice bonus.

   Appetizers were great. Main course’s were terribly salty and hardly edible. The front door flooded half the building with cold air. At one point the MGR opened the door to discuss something with someone outside, who happened to to be smoking, and he held the door open the entire conversation. The room filled with cold Smokey error, causing multiple tables to stare /complain in disbelief

   We did Valentine’s Day here. Everything was fantastic, from service to food.

   Maybe they were having an off night, I hope so. It took over an hour to get our meal after we sat. There were two tables of us and the other table got all their food perhaps 20 mins ahead of ours, poor coordination somewhere. Also, the food wasn't great, in fact not very good especially given the cost. It seems the service could have been a problem with a server being sick or some such so not enough people, but the food just wasn't very good and that doesn't seem attributable to an off night. Given how many amazing restaurants there are in Portland, I can't believe this one has survived at all.

    Caesar salad was not very good at all for an Italian restaurant…no taste …very, very bland. The meatballs were amazing and the Sunday special was fabulous…service was amazing and the wine was good( Pinot noir from the happy hour menu)
