Eclectic, neighborhood Italian restaurant in the heart of Ooltewah. we take reservations for a portion of our tables, leaving much of the restaurant for guests to simply walk-in without a reservation. We take reservations by phone daily from the hours of 2:00 to 5:00 or anytime through the Ooltewah location page of www.primochattanooga.com.

Come and enjoy an authentic American-Italian inspired cuisine, complimented by a diverse selection of Italian and American wines and signature craft cocktails.

Featuring the same classic, American-Italian menu, warm service and lively communal environment as the original Il Primo Northshore, Il Primo Cambridge is the perfect place for gatherings of friends, family and associates. Il Primo Cambridge offers one-third of its tables for reservations, leaving the remaining two-thirds of the tables for guests to simply walk-in. Included in the reservation area of the restaurant is a semi-private area with seating for up to 32 guests. The private area at Il Primo Cambridge is separated from the main dining room with large, velvet curtains that provide complete visual separation and partial acoustic privacy. This area includes a large, soundproof window into our kitchen, animating the area with the bustle of our culinary staff. This area of the restaurant may be reserved for the evening for a food and beverage minimum. All food and beverage purchases are applied towards the minimum, with any remaining balance charged as a room charge.

Went there for our 42nd wedding anniversary. As usual, PERFECT!! Great seats, great server (thanks Destiny), great food and ambiance. Can’t say enough good things about this place. A true jewel in Cambridge Square’s crown!

Everything we ordered was delicious! The burrata with tomatoes & crostini, every entree (the mushroom ravioli & spring pea risotto were the two favorites), espresso martinis, limoncello pie and tiramisu: just fantastic! Every. Single. Bite. The server was super helpful, and he checked in frequently without being obtrusive. Overall, a delightful meal & experience. We're still talking about the food days later, and we'll definitely be back!

We were seated prominently. Our waiter was attentive. The atmosphere was very noisy even though the restaurant was not very crowded. The food was good. The menu on the open table site does not match the restaurant’s menu and needs to be updated.
