Eclectic, neighborhood Italian restaurant in the heart of Ooltewah. we take reservations for a portion of our tables, leaving much of the restaurant for guests to simply walk-in without a reservation. We take reservations by phone daily from the hours of 2:00 to 5:00 or anytime through the Ooltewah location page of www.primochattanooga.com.

Come and enjoy an authentic American-Italian inspired cuisine, complimented by a diverse selection of Italian and American wines and signature craft cocktails.

Featuring the same classic, American-Italian menu, warm service and lively communal environment as the original Il Primo Northshore, Il Primo Cambridge is the perfect place for gatherings of friends, family and associates. Il Primo Cambridge offers one-third of its tables for reservations, leaving the remaining two-thirds of the tables for guests to simply walk-in. Included in the reservation area of the restaurant is a semi-private area with seating for up to 32 guests. The private area at Il Primo Cambridge is separated from the main dining room with large, velvet curtains that provide complete visual separation and partial acoustic privacy. This area includes a large, soundproof window into our kitchen, animating the area with the bustle of our culinary staff. This area of the restaurant may be reserved for the evening for a food and beverage minimum. All food and beverage purchases are applied towards the minimum, with any remaining balance charged as a room charge.

The fine reputation of this establishment is not overstated. Very well prepared and flavorful food. Attentive servers. Nice varied wine list.

Our waiter, Jake was very attentive and thorough in his explanations of the specials offered. The carpaccio was very good but could use a little more flavor. Everything else was exceptional! We will definitely be back.

Top notch service and wonderful food. We especially loved the grilled peach, prosciutto, cambozola cheese with balsamic reduction appetizer.

We are regulars and always can count on great food and service! It's hard to beat their scallops with seasonal risotto! And limoncello pie is nearly perfect.

II Primo is one of our favorite restaurants. Food is always excellent as well as the service. Atmosphere is up beat and lively. If you haven't been make it a priority to visit. You won't be dissapointed.

My date and I had a wonderful meal! The service was greatly and timely. The food was excellent and we had plenty to take home too. I'd highly recommend it for anyone seeking outstanding Italian cuisine.

this menu’s swordfish meal is to die for. and there are new side dishes that are sooooo. yummy!!! i don’t know why they even put salt and pepper on the tables. i’ve never had the need for them 😊. my husband and i believe the restaurant deserves at least one Michelin star!!!
