   The food was not good and a lot was unexpected. Plus, a weird location that is out of the way. I can’t believe they have a $20 per person fee associated with cancellation and that’s the only reason we kept it.

   Il Porto is our favorite place to order Pizza. They have delicious, fresh tasting sauce, cheese, and toppings, and a thin, crispy crust, fired up in a wood fired oven. On Valentine's day, we ate there in person for the first time. It was perfect. It was spacious, and romantic, and fancy enough to feel celebratory without feeling stuffy or pompous. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating of us and our sometimes rambunctious three year old. They had a live guitarist playing beautiful music. We ordered a mixed appetizer plate, our favorite Ortalano Pizza, a delicious spaghetti dish, the Lobster Ravioli special, which was fresh tasting and packed with lobster, and a scrumptious tiramisu. My husband had a glass of wine and I had a cocktail. All the food was very tasty, fresh, flavorful, and made with high quality ingredients. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future celebrations.

    I love this restaurant and the food speaks for itself. I have been raving about this restaurant for years and I was finally able to take my friends to visit. It’s a great atmosphere where you can have conversations and enjoy amazing food. They have a nice wine list and I recommend the Chianti. The margarita pizza is a must have. Everything is so fresh and you will not be disappointed

    The food was great as was our waiter. The tables outside were in a rocky slanted sidewalk so it was hard not to knock things over but all in all it was a good night and I would definitely return.

    I discovered Il Porto on Open Table. It's a bit of a trek to get there, but it is definitely worth it. The moment you walk in, you feel like you're suddenly in Italy. My crab salad, gnocchi sorrentina & nutella popers were all delicious. The service was excellent and the prices most reasonable. And the space is so authentic and charming.     We were looking forward to a pleasant dining experience in a cozy traditional Italian restaurant. This unfortunately was a total miss. We waited over an hour and half for our food. Servers were not welcoming (although to their credit they seemed overwhelmed). When we asked for drinks, they told us it would be a 25 min wait due to shortage on staff. We patiently waited but never got them. When we asked to remove them off the check, they said they never even bothered to put the order in. Food came missing order notes. Disappointed…We really wanted to love it and hoped to find a neighborhood gem.

    Food was delicious . Drink menu very good. Price was reasonable for sure. The pizza absolutely delicious. Tomato sauce so flavorful and everything very fresh tasting. It was my daughter’s 19th birthday and went before the Stranger Things exhibit. If you are in the area this place is a must.

    Took over an 1 1/2 for the food to come out. When it did my shrimps were half cooked n raw. My god daughter wasn’t pleased with her chicken parmigiana. My cousin had steak n eggs , the steak look like a strip of bacon. The drinks were pretty ok. We found out towards the end they were short a cook. It might had been they were overwhelmed with a table of 10 people. The place wasn’t full. But overall the ambiance was nice.

    THE RESTAURANT WAS CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS BUT OBVIOUSLY FORGOT TO TELL ANYONE. Ended up finding a much much better Italian restaurant just up two blocks and around the corner "LaRina" much better. Highly recommend. Actually open when it says so on google maps.......

    The pizza here is incredible. It’s the best pizza we’ve had in a while — especially the Sicilian style. The tiramisu was absolutely delicious and the staff was so kind. We also loved the ambiance. Will definitely be back.

    Very cozy Italian place easily walkable from Pratt University and Myrtle Ave. Food is great and perfect for a chilly night. We didn't try the pizzas this time, but will next time we are there.

    Terrific spot in Brooklyn when your kids go to the Pratt Institute! Less than a mile drive from campus. Everything was excellent - we especially enjoyed the Bruschetta choices and the Grandma’s pizza. Service was perfect and welcoming. We will be back!

    The restaurant sits across from a fish market and at the time we dined outdoors, all we could smell was smelly fish. The restaurant itself was nice and they had live music too. The service was amazing but the food was a bit mediocre. For instance, my friend’s risotto had too much broth in it which resulted in a full blown soup. My other friend ordered their salmon but they over cooked it and it was a bit bland too. We also ordered their calamari and lasagne too. We thought both dishes were delicious.
