The Michelin starred restaurant Il Palagio, nestled within the Four Seasons Hotel Florence, offers an impeccable service together with a refined and elegant ambient.
Il Palagio is open Tuesday to Saturday from 7.00 pm to 10.00 pm. Outdoor service is available only during summer time, weather permitting. Kindly note that the tasting menus are served for the whole table and are available until 9.30.
Executive Chef Paolo Lavezzini will arouse your curiosity with contemporary dishes filled with playful surprises, tinting your senses with flavours, perfumes and consistencies. The most genuine seasonal ingredients are served, all of them from Tuscany and the Tyrrhenian sea, and some directly from the Gherardesca Garden. The menu is a voyage that starts in our garden with cheerfulness and rapidly increasing complexity and depth, reaching the peaks of sophisticate haute cuisine.

Very nice hotel but not offering inside dining when the outside temperature is 28 Celcius on a one star michelin 200 Usd pre fix is crazy. The inside restaurant seems amazing but closed? Outside felt like camping tents

Very uneven and not nearly worth the money: good amuse bouche, good starters, but mains were just plain not good. Snapper was badly overcooked as was the lamb. Huge wine list, but 3-4x retail price. (Every restaurant doubles the retail price, but 4x is robbery.). When we asked for bread, our server told us we were on a culinary journey and chef planned when we would get it…….We ate here in 2023 and had a good meal. This one was bad. Skip it. You can get a better meal in Florence for 1/5th the price.

Absolutely amazing. We came to celebrate a birthday. We were welcomed so beautifully to the restaurant, our server was incredibly kind and welcoming, explained everything about the menu options very detailed and the story of their traditional tasting menu and its inspiration. The courses were perfectly spaced out, and we felt just the right amount of attention from the staff. The rest of the staff were really good as well, explaining every dish when serving. The treated us to a delicious birthday cake and a beautiful rose. Amazing experience, will definitely come back.

Superb restaurant with terrific service and excellent food. The dining room is beautiful. Thank you Walter for help make my wife’s special birthday so great. This is a perfect place to celebrate.

Abbiamo speso poco meno di 400 € a testa optando per il menù degustazione con otto portate e con un abbinamento di tre calici a testa. Visto il prezzo pagato mi sarei aspettato di più sia in termini di qualità del vino (uno dei tre assaggiati, pagato 55 € al calice, non mi ha entusiasmato affatto), sia con riferimento al cibo di qualità indiscutibilmente eccellente, ma almeno per il mio gusto soltanto dai primi in avanti. Eccellente ed impeccabile il servizio e il personale di sala, estremamente professionale e premuroso. Altra nota negativa riguarda la spesa complessiva: un prezzo del genere si avvicina quasi ad un tre stelle
