What a great find in Vancouver. Wandered into this slightly hidden and quaint Italian restaurant while spending a long weekend in Vancouver. Everything was phenomenal! We had the calamari & prawn as well as the funghi & crostini appetizers, and both were amazing. It was tough to pick out a main course as the menu was full of delicious looking selections, but we landed on the Rigatoni Cacio e Pepe and the Risotto di Mare. The Risotto di Mare boasted plenty of fresh fish including calamari, clams and mussels, topped with a seafood bisque and tomato sauce. The Rigatoni was perfectly cooked al dente and the sauce was flavorful. The staff was professional, knowledgeable and spent time with each and every table. We were asked no less than 4 times how our meal was and if we needed anything. Highly recommend Il Nido if you are looking for a great Italian experience and restaurant in Vancouver.

We made a reservation for 9 family members to dine at Il Nido on Open Table. Following the reservation, staff called to confirm and was very friendly. We all felt welcome when we arrived. The food was delicious, very authentic to Italy where we all had vacationed together 2 years prior. Timing of the meal was perfect, and the professionalism of staff was appreciated. We really enjoyed chatting with Christian, the manager, for a bit. Il Nido is such a great find! We will be back.

The food and customer service was quite good, but the atmosphere was quite bad and there was just constant droning in the background of an engine.

I was here for a meeting and everything was great. We never felt rushed and our waiter was checking on us always. I will definitely come back with my other coworkers and my family too! Grazie!

We had eaten at this restaurant a few times more than 5 years ago but had not been back since COVID. The food was fantastic. The burrata caprese salad is amazing, as is the chicken risotto and the gnocchi. Everyone in our group of 8 really enjoyed their meal and are ready to go back. The service was good and attentive albeit a bit slow at times but I think they were just giving us time to enjoy our meal. The noise level was low which allowed the 8 of us to have a nice visit with each other without shouting over loud music or other noisy guests. All in all a very nice evening. We will definitely be going again soon.

Super nice place. Loved the service and the timing between plates. But more than anything, we weren't that hungry for full antipasti, main meal and dessert for two. They gladly proposed and accommodated us by splitting one antipasti and one main meal without charging us extra like most restaurants would do. We each had a dessert though... LOL
