My husband and I love the langoustine risotto and you can’t beat the service. It was impeccable.
Celebrated my 21st birthday with dinner and drinks and it was perfect. Our sever was extremely attentive and wanted to make sure we were satisfied with our service. I would definitely go back. Perfect dinner spot
Came here to celebrate my boyfriends birthday everything was phenomenal the food service the ambience I’ll go back again for sure. Friendly staff sang happy birthday to him without me even telling them to.
It was our first visit to Il Mulino and we were very pleased with the entire experience.
Veal Marsala was tough. The rosemary potatoes where tasteless the bread was stale. The only thing good was the service. And this was my birthday celebration. Wha5 a disappointment
The food was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. There was an array of tasty starters presented to the table immediately after sitting down that gave you a tour of Italy. Everything was perfect, but my only complaint would be that we were celebrating our anniversary and hoping for a romantic Italian evening out and that did not happen. The noise level in the restaurant was ridiculously loud and we could barely carry on a conversation. We actually skipped everything and just had pasta so we could get through as fast as possible. Again the food was excellent.
Our meal was delicious, the atmosphere was delightful, the service was superb!
Beyond incredible! Food indescribably delicious with service unsurpassed! Hosts genuinely gracious and concerned about every aspect of the wonderful dining experience!
Everything was great .
Exceptional food and service. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Italian food.
Place was like an oven. Not comfortable at all. My food had some crazy spice that ultimately got me sick.
Great expectations and poor outcome.
A somewhat crowded and noisy restaurant but then that is to be expected in a hotel with a casino. The wait staff was very professional. They were friendly without making us feel that we had a new best friend.
Food was pricey and the quality was as expected at that price point.
We would eat there again if the opportunity arose.
It’s nice enough and food great (lots of butter! ). But not inexpensive and on the over the top (ie dessert was big enough for 6!)
Everything excellent!!! Definitely will be back!!
Very good food, good service and ambience, however, the prices are ridiculously high. Prices are double any other Italian restaurant I’ve gone to. Chicken parm was $44 and it didn’t even come with a side, ordered a small bowl of pasta for the side, that was $17. I am fine with paying a premium for quality, but the markup is absurd. I have an issue with spending $61 for a meal I could get anywhere else for $20-25, just not worth it in my opinion.
I highly recommend this spot. Great ambiance and super service. A bit pricey, but excellent food and an interesting wine list at fair prices. Definitely on my list of places to visit in AC.
As always excellent!!!!
Thank you all!!
This restaurant was lovely. The little samples of cheese, fried zucchini and bruschetta they welcome you with are just delightful and make you feel like you’re really being cared for. We had the bucatini which was just great and the mushroom risotto which was also delicious. My only comment would be that the wild mushroom risotto had some really gritty sand in it. I know that it’s tough to thoroughly clean the mushroom when it’s wild especially but I was expecting a slightly more careful quality from a 42 dollar dish. The taste was on point!
Great experience overall. Service was great, food was delicious and ambience is wonderful. We had baked clams and meatballs for appetizer. The meatballs were delicious and moist and clams excellent. We shared the fettuccini entree with crab meat. Just enough food and very light and tasty. Would recommend again and again.
Outstanding Service, fantastic selection and pleasant atmosphere.
We had alittle trouble when arrived my husband had to wait it was his birthday and they really did t make him feel special . The pasta was ok I am Italian and cook w dry
Food sub-par. Place could be cleaner. Very over-priced.
I’m sorry but I expected better for the prices. The service was very good . The food was average for a high end restaurant. I could have ordered the same at one if my local restaurants where I live. Next time I visit Atlantic City I will stay with old faithful the old homestead
Get away with my wife
I was at the restaurant with 4 friends to celebrate a special birthday. I had especially chosen this restaurant because I’d eaten there before and the food and service were good. My experience this time was very different. They came over with a choice of bread once and did not come back again. One of the pre appetizers was what I think was fried zucchini. All you could taste was the grease. Nobody came back to the table to ask if we wanted more drinks. We all ordered pasta. One friend specifically ordered it al dente. Four out of five of us ordered the pasta bolognese. It was hard and crunchy and in my opinion vastly undercooked. A few of us sent it back and the waiter looked dumbfounded when we made the request. When the plates came back it was cooked slightly more and smothered in sauce. The meat was nowhere to be found. I asked the waiter to sing Happy Birthday to my friend if we ordered dessert. He gave me the impression that they would bring something so we could sing to my friend but that didn’t happen. We were all unhappy so we decided to have dessert elsewhere. All in all I felt like a very special occasion was ruined.
The food was tremendous and our server Jenna was outstanding . My only complaint was that when we opted for a vegetable instead of pasta , we were not told that we would be charged extra . We wound up being charged approximately $30.00 for 2 orders of vegetables . a little excessive since we were not told .
Everything was wonderful from workers to food. Would definitely go back again.
This was my third time to Il Mulino and it was just as great as the first time. The staff is fantastic. Our server Jenna was amazing. Perfect balance of time between food courses. Very attentive to our drink needs. Cannot wait for the next visit.
Fantastic place. Entire staff is very knowledgeable and professional. This was our second time here and the consistency of service and food quality was impeccable. Looking forward to our next trip.
Just an FYI, the lighting is dim(creates a nice atmosphere) so be sure to bring your glasses or a small flashlight(on your phone) to see the menu 🙂.
The ambiance was fantastic. Tables were aligned perfectly so you had your privacy and no one was right on top of you. The lighing is dark but makes for a romantic setting. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Would highly recommend... just note it is very expensive but you do get what you pay for. If your looking for high end, you can’t go wrong here.
Service was outstanding as was the food. Our server was so attentive
Upon arriving at Il Mulino, my friend and I were warmly greeted by the hostess and taken to our table. After only a few seconds of sitting down we were offered fresh parmigiana cheese, warm focaccia, zucchini chips, and bruschetta. This was remarkable. Each dish was incredible! After ordering our food the service got progressively worse. We had to wait a little while for the check and for our main courses. Other than this- our time at this establishment was great!
Definitely recommend this location for a date night, be prepared to spend a bit more than you’d expect for an Italian dinner.
It is for adults unless older children are well mannered.
It is pricey but the Dover sole was scrumptious.
Superb staff with attention to detail.
Lovely Birthday celebration for my husband.
The shrimp franchise was delicious. Our server Jenna and the support staff were all amazing. It was a bit to dark, could hardly see the menu. Overall, food and service was 5 star! Would defiantly return!!
The service was good until they brought our dinners. The staff seemed to disappear. Never asked if we needed anything, we had to track down another server just to get a 2nd wine which didn't come before we finished meal and then brought the wrong wine. The room is too dark to read menus so most had their cell phone flash lights out to see it! The noise level was fine until they sat a party of 14 men next to us. That made it impossible to talk. I would not return to that restaurant.
The food was outstanding. Dover Sole and Veal Marsala. Easy to make a reservation. Make sure you have desert!
This restaurant is AMAZING. As soon as you sit down they serve you the most delicious bruschetta, fried zucchini, and foccacia. The menu has a variety of choices and they are all wonderful. The clams oreganata and the chicken parmigiana are the best I have ever had. At the end of the meal you are offered grapa to help your food digest and it is fantastic. All of the waiters/waitresses are extremely nice and very attentive. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing evening with delicious food I highly recommend you go here.
Food and service were excellent. The Langoustine and risotto were superb. I will definitely recommend
