As usual II Modo did not disappoint! We had one of our favorite waitresses AnneMaria and thoroughly enjoyed every morsel of the delicious food. The pasta is house made and superb and the menu is creative and interesting. Try the broiled oysters as an appetizer. Out of this world!

We went for brunch. Food was sub-par at best. Pasta dish was so gummy it was just a clump of goo. Margarita Pizza was watery and cold. Foil found in the burger. Fries were good. Server was sweet, but not attentive to beverages, serving utensils, etc.

We went on a Tuesday evening. The food and the service were very good. It was a holiday week so not too crowd which dampened the ambiance a little. I imagine with a good crowd the ambiance would have been better. Will definately go again.

It was after 8pm when we sat down and ordered. It took 50 minutes to get our entrees. The waiter avoided us and never checked on our meal. Really bad experience after a long day of traveling.

Anna Marie was great. She made it a three star when it could have been less. Might try a second time ONLY because of our server., but noted it was a birthday outing and our free dessert choice was missing. No other option offered like a drink or ? The hostess also made an extra effort to get us a nice table . Disappointed overall, because I had high hopes from reading reviews.

Main course serving delayed by over one hour. Server kept saying it was not his fault which does not help and is basic for customer service to take accountability instead of blaming the kitchen. Does not make a difference to the customer. They did comp a couple of starters to help some of the pain

My wife and I just love Il Modo! The food is so great, the presentation by the terrific staff is terrific and the atmosphere is very Italian. Last evening Elizabeth was our server and treated us like royalty!

We were happy to be back having dinner at Il Modo after some months away. It was great to have Anna Maria and Elizabeth as our servers. Both are very accomplished at their job and friendly in a very nice way. In fact the whole staff from kitchen to management wants to make sure you are having a great experience!

Went before a show at Bass Hall(which we put on the reservation and told the waitress). Hated the table we were put at- but when asked- no other options. Our waitress somehow forgot to turn in our dinner order. It took a ridiculously long time- which rushed everything ( because we needed to get to the show). Food was just edible and after waiting so long very disappointing and had to choke it down anyway. Although the manager was aware because he came over twice to apologize, there was no compensation offered other than “dessert to go” which we didn’t want to take to the show with us. We won’t be returning. Like so many places in Ft Worth now, it’s for the tourists.

Our waiter, Ryan, was great. Food was outstanding- the tiramisu being the exception (dry, flavorless ladyfingers, and no cocoa on top), but it was complimentary to celebrate our anniversary, so we didn’t complain. First time to visit, but I think we’ll be back for sure.

Outstanding service. Texas red fish was excellent. Asked for wine pairing that was good for shrimp risotto. Enjoyed waitress’ suggestion. Only reason I did not give 5 was the risotto was just ok. Very few shrimp and bland taste. We will go back and try other dishes.

This was the second time we have been to I’ll Modo in the past 2 months. Our experience last night was a let down and gave us concern. We ordered beef tartare for an appetizer. The toast was burnt which was overbearing the flavor. We told the waitress and ate the tartare on bread which was good. When we made the reservation I noted we were celebrating my wife’s birthday. When seated the waitress mentioned I see we are celebrating a birthday which I acknowledged. However nothing came of it.

Since we were staying at the hotel we decided to eat at this restaurant. The service was less than great. We only saw out waiter to take the order, bring water, and bring the check, although he did apologize for his absence. The portion for the price is unreal ( four scallops for $40),, but the scallops were excellent. A little disappointed for our Anniversary celebration.

Had a 7:15 reservation but were not seated for 30 minutes. Food was good but server was so busy they dropped our food and didn’t return until way after we were finished, not even to check on how the filet was cooked. Also, wanted to order another drink but waited 15-20 minutes for him. No one else in the restaurant responded despite looking at our table & seeing an empty glass. All in all food was really good.

We came because of Restaurant Week, but as soon as I saw Lamb Shank on the menu…game over! Our server, Jesse, was knowledgable and attentive!! The kitchen was so kind as to switch the orzo to risotto, and I was overjoyed! Great wine selection and ambiance as well!! I will definitely go back and recommend to all my friends! Thank you!

Restaurant Week at its finest! Ask for Emily's section. Fantastic service! We could not resist starting off with burrata and an Aperol Spritz or two. The antipasto salad was refreshing and just the right size. The Bucatini Cacio e Pepe was better than Italy! I hope this goes on the regular menu (please!!!!!) The others in our party had the Rigatoni Bolognese and the Linguini Puttanesca. All were delicious but the consensus favorite was the Cacio e Pepe. Can never go wrong with a cannoli for dessert. I ate every last bite! It was so delicious, I forgot to take

We had a delightful experience at Il Modo, a restaurant we've been eager to try for some time. During DFW Restaurant Week, we finally had the chance to visit, and it exceeded our expectations. The recommended wine pairings perfectly complemented each dish we ordered. While the prix fixe menu tempted us, I'm thrilled I decided to venture beyond it to try the asparagus soup, which was a savory and buttery delight that stood out. Beyond the soup, every item we sampled was exceptional, but it was the cannoli that stole my heart. Special kudos to Liz, our server, whose fantastic service enhanced our evening. Our gratitude extends to the entire staff, with Liz truly making our night unforgettable. Cheers!

Tables were dirty when we arrived. Menu for Restaurant week was confusing and not what it showed online. Service was lacking and we had to put our hands in the air and wave down servers even tho the restaurant only had 2 other tables. I realize the restaurant also takes care of room service for the hotel guests, but the servers would walk thru the restaurant and not pay attention to the table, even tho we were sitting there hoping they would at least glance in our direction so we could get an ice tea refill, our check, etc. It was "meh" but I will add that the food was good...too bad about the service and those flies....!

Very disappointed. The rigatoni was a big let down. The noodles weren’t cooked all the way so they were chewy. The food was barely warm when it arrived at the table. We also had the margarita pizza and it was a big let down as well. Flavorless. Barely any cheese. Our server was nice and polite but not very attentive.
