Amazing service. Best in Atlanta.
Excellent dinner with expert service.
Such a classic Italian dining experience. Great food and ambiance
Always a good meal and a good time.
Great experience, love this place for fun night out.
The woman calling me about the reservations was rude. The wait service was okay, not fabulous, but not lousy. The food was good. The ambience was fabulous. The soundtrack was odd, but fun. Lots of disco and other 70s and early 80s music. Then they ended poorly. Staff was very rude about splitting the bill, finally they added a tip to the bill after we had split the bill ourselves. It is really too bad. I would like to see the full menu, but probably never will. I certainly won't bring them a party of 6 to be treated rudely, again.
This family owned restaurant is very warm and welcoming. The food is delicious and the environment is quite festive!
This a wonderful dimly lit family own restaurant. The staff are all friendly and professional. The food is amazing. The handcrafted cocktails are a delight. The decorations during Valentine's are gorgeous.
A very fun atmosphere and a place to go to enjoy a great meal and stay awhile. The service was phenomenal, very knowledgeable and attentive wait staff. We will definitely be back!
This is the only place we’ve been to that gets better every single time! The food is spectacular, and the people are amazing. The vodka sauce, on any of the pastas, has me hooked!
Fun place for a date night or for a gathering with friends. Food was pretty solid, but the service and ambiance were outstanding. Very unique, eclectic and certainly unexpected vibe! We’ll be back for sure!
This was a special night (Valentine's Day), and this was our second time to this restaurant. After being seated, we were attended by a superb wait staff. Giovanni, the host and owner was very gracious and attentive to our needs. I had pulled him aside to have him present my wife with a sapphire and diamond ring as a surprise during the serving of the appetizers. Giovanni went above and beyond by putting the ring box in a sauce decanter draped with rose petals and springs of rosemary. My wife was elated and was overwhelmed as to the gift as well as how we were treated all night. She told me that this was the best Valentine she has experienced. I have been In my younger days I worked in my father's restaurants in NYC and I can say the food here was excellent. Ambiance was like Mama Leone's carnival nights (now closed) in NYC. Overall, this will be a special place for us to come as often as possible. In fact we will be there this coming Saturday, the 24th. Again to Giovanni, Gail and the employees at Il Localino, Thank You.
Not what I expected when we first found the restaurant. Small front entrance and a dining area that uses every free space imaginable. The Owner and Family seem to always be present and do a wonderful job of making you feel at home. Then comes the food. Most authentic, and tasty Italian dishes I’ve ever had. Truely has become our special occasion spot.
So, we stumbled into this little joint and are totally - completely - profoundly, blown away. Great decor, fabulous staff and the FOOD was sublime. Wouldn’t change a thing (including the fog machines). Great evening, can’t wait to come back!
Wonderful, fun, super lively place. Food was outstanding. The restaurant has a cozy family feel and is often packed. There are disco balls on the ceiling and they play lots of 70s music.
As always food, service and ambience was sensational. I would recommend for date night, family dinners, and get together a with friends
Food was OK, but nothing really special and overpriced compared to several other Italian restaurants in Midtown or various intown Atlanta neighborhoods. Dining rooms are extremely crowded and "decorated" to the point of being cluttered. Owner seems to spend all of his time clowning around with guests in the dining rooms instead of in the kitchen.
This was one of the most fun experiences I've had at dinner! The food was superb; the service was also superb, everyone was so nice and welcoming; and the atmosphere was so energetic with great music and awesome decor. We ordered the Veal Parmesan, the Scallops on sautéed spinach and polenta (dinner special), Caesar salad, and this unbelievable appetizer of fire-roasted peppers and anchovies... delicious. And for dessert, some of the best tiramisu I've ever had. I can't wait to go back!
We went here to celebrate two friends birthdays. We had so much fun and the food was excellent, as usual. We will definitely be back! Love this place!!!
