Everything was exceptional, except for the ambiance...it was all white & beige, not one picture on the walls, no color anywhere...very austere.

No atmosphere downstairs. Used to visit and recommend often to colleagues. No more. Manager who checked us in looked at my children 6 and 8 and said "downstairs". And had reservations. My kids were better behaved than adults upstairs creating scene. Had my family and some old decrepit family next to us. Called manager and said Mandy will call to address. Never did. Food is adequate not great and horrible for price. See ya and don't recommend. New location stinks.

Met a friend for lunch and initially surprised to enter the formal fancy setting. As someone who has recently traveled to Italy i must admit the food and service was remarkable authentic and oh yes delicious !!!!

Loved everything about this restaurant - the only complaint was the live music - it would have been nice if it was not as loud and jazzy - we were seated near the performer and we had a hard time having a conversation - I would say something a bit low key would be much more enjoyable although I have to say the performer was very talented and in a different venue would be very enjoyable.

My wife and I found the staff very good and professional. Our meals were not great. My wife had a sea bass dish which she enjoyed very much. I tried it as well and it was excellent. My meal however was at best mediocre. I had the veal loin. It was over cooked and cooked unevenly. Mean it was well done two thirds of the way thru and medium the other third. I also found it a bit tough. We were also disappointed and frankly surprised by the very sterile decor. Being such a grand old town house with such a great history we would have thought the decor would have been more representative of the historical background of the building. The white and black color scheme and the bare walls certainly did not create a warm comfortable dinning environment.

Good food, good wine , good service from the staff but they didn’t told us that the kitchen closes at 10 pm on Sunday when our reservation was set for 9:45 pm , we just had 15 mins to order and decide from the starter to the dessert

The Restaurant location is very good, the whole ambiance is nice and and the service quick and accurate. I have been eating all over the world for my business and I found this restaurant of good quality but not exceptional for what they charged. Definitely most of the dishes are way overpriced same for the drinks.

Absolutely delightful dinner. The service was outstanding and the food was amazing. We had two specials. The Dover sole tasted so fresh and delicious that it melted in your mouth. The veal and porcini ragout over housemade fettuccine was over the top. Great ambiance. All around a perfect place to celebrate an occasion. Can’t wait to go back.

A nice garden-level restaurant. A quirky interior from the 1970s and a pleasant staff make for a most pleasant meal.
Great Italian menu featuring appetizers, a pasta course and a main course, though you’re not obliged to order from all three courses.
We had a great time and enjoyed a full featured experience.

My friend and I at the last minute decided to duct into Il Gattopardo for an early dinner. We had never been before, nor heard of it. It is located on the ground floor of a beautiful townhouse. The atmosphere : there is a small cozy bar upfront when you enter. Perfect for a cocktail, or while you wait for your table. The restaurant is el-shaped. The front part is more open, while the back a little tight. We sat in the back area, which was fine, but get the front seating if you're on a date (we were two girlfriends hanging out). The food was very good. We questioned if one item on the menu was "in season" and the waiter not only asked the chef, but the chef came out to chat with us as well. Great service! It can get a tic noisy, but not so much that you can't hear your dinner partners.

Dark seat where we were put. Next to a big family. Hard to understand waiter. Food was ok but was a disappointment as I had asked a friend where in the City we should eat and after le Bernardin was this was second choice. Would not go back.

Everything was very good but nothing was outstanding. The best dish was the eggplant side dish. The porchetta was flavored very well but was dry and a little over cooked. The wine was very impressive but stupid over priced.

Always a treat to go there. I thought the service was inattentive. I think it was the last time I was there as well. I frankly don't understand it since they have plenty of wait staff. Otherwise, the place is great and fully commensurate with the price.

Food was great as usual. Service was questionable at best. My group was seated at dingy corner when we were the 3rd group for Sunday brunch. To make things worse, the waiter Luca was rude.
