Wonderful as always!!
It's a place where class meets quality. our appetizer and main courses were delicious and perfect in any detail. they really take care of you. plus you can enjoy the view of the MoMa
For restaurant week the menu was 125. $ !! Was not aware, should not be on list of restaurant week. Noise level unbearable inside. Seafood Risotto, special of the day was al dente, never had rice al dente and I have eaten risotto hundreds of times in Italy. Lobster pieces were hardly visible. 50. dollars incl. tip, just for an undercooked risotto. Overpriced food, service was good, did we order the wrong thing??
Took advantage of Restuarant Week. Oscar and his team were amazing. Same can be said for the food.
Very good high end Italian in a charming townhouse ground level. A lot of tourist. Good for business . Good with old friends. Good to meet your child’s future in-laws
Mal servicio y consume mucho tiempo. Ni siquera comimos el segundo plato.
They haven’t skipped a beat! Delicious and fresh food, wonderful wine list and excellent service. So glad to be back!
lovely waiter, believe understaffed, crowded, desert took forever
I had reserved a table for 2.15pm for a party of 4 but somehow the total points we received for this dining was not the expected 1000 - we only received 100. Could this please be corrected to reflect in my Acct? The service and food were outstanding!! The children loved every meal and found it to be delicious! Thank you very much.
Outstanding food; the best Milanese since the Gran San Bernardo in Milan!
Giuseppe was amazing! Thank you for such a great service!
The pasta, to dream for!
The service was chaotic. We sat for a full 30 minutes before being offered cocktails . We had to request to be served white wine all through the entire evening, as the bottle was somewhere in a cooler out of sight and servers never bothered to check our (empty) glasses. We also had to ask more than once for other items. The space is rather austere, withe low ceilings and very close tables, nothing like the festive, ample room of the Leopard at Des Artistes, its sister restaurant. The food a Leopard is also better, as is the excellent service. (It might help we are somewhat “regulars” there, as at Il Gattopardo they don’t know us at all.) A very disappointing evening with out-of-town friends.
We are very satisfied with the service
Birthday wonderful food and incredibly accommodating
A superb restaurant and I can find no fault! I will definitely come again!
Wonderful lunch with outstanding cuisine and excellent service!
Great Food and Great service!!
Hadn’t eaten at one of my favorite Mid town restaurants in some time due to Covid. The food was great, as always and we had an amazing table outside watching the world go by on West 54th Street.
Nice place and ambiance ❤️
Sat outdoors and Nyc steam venting noise was quite loud otherwise excellent place and great food .
We heard wonderful things about this restaurant.
It is above the standard between many Italian Restaurants located in NYC; however, comparing it with authentic Italian restaurants from Italy there is still a gap to be filled out.
Lovely ambiance and delicious. Different from any other Italian cuisine I’ve had before. Staff was very attentive and knowledgeable.
We enjoyed our lunch. The food was really good. The service was great - couldn't find any fault at all. The person attending to us was very attentive to our needs and questions. It was quiet inside as we've had a late lunch. Also, we decided to eat indoor rather than outside because it was a very hot afternoon. We will be back.
Outstanding food and service. We sat outdoors; it was beautifully done up, completely unlike so many of the cheap, tatty-looking structures all over the city. The table setting was impeccable. The staff were extremely attentive and the food was superb.
I arrived first, and the maitre d was quite unpleasant when I entered the restaurant. It seemed that I was an inconvenience. The person I was dining with, who arrived after I did, also remarked how coldly he was greeted. That’s when I knew I wasn’t being overly sensitive. Then the circus began. We were initially seated toward the back of the restaurant by a busy station, where the busboys and servers kept passing by; and when we asked for a better table, we were seated at the very back of the restaurant kn a corner, even though there were numerous tables available toward the front of the restaurant. We were going to leave but decided to stay. The food was not special and the overall experiences was poor at best. I will tell people not to ever dine at this restaurant and I won’t ever go back.
The food was terrific! The service great!
Dessert is a must…. Save room
Amazing food! Cute outdoor seating. Perfect afternoon lunch!
Once the restaurant reopened after Covid, my husband and I, sometimes with our daughter and her fiancé, dined several times. The excellent service resonated. That was not the case Saturday. The waiter was fine. The maitre d’ and his assistant were cold and perfunctory. Rather a turn off. The food was as good as ever.
Classical Italian dishes well prepared
Food extremely good, service great, room bit noisy but due to acoustics, not loud.
It was wonderful!!
One of the best Italian restaurants in NYC
Excellent service- superior service to all other restaurants we have ever been.
Homemade pasta , sauce and breadsticks
A must visit if you like Italian food.
Best Italian in town
Such attentive service and incredible food!
Amazing place and food
Authentic Italian cuisine, overall very good service and a lively atmosphere. Every plate was delicious, thoughtfully prepared and well portioned.
