The food was incredible!! Service was so wonderful - I will definitely be back!
The setting perfect .
Sat outdoors on the landing of this beautiful historic NY landmark.
The food , presentation, and ambiance were amazing.
Be back soon.

First visit (we rarely dine in the 50s) was wonderful! Went for Sunday outdoor birthday brunch and selected for proximity to the MoMA. Food was lovely, service was exceptional, and am completely surprised that I was not familiar with Il Gattopardo long before now. Will be back!
One of our favorite restaurants in Manhattan. Food is well seasoned and never disappoints !
The restaurant is gorgeous and nice spacing inside. Outdoors looked nice but it was too chilly for us. We had a great time. Pricey. Not my kind of menu (too fancy) but everyone had fun. We stayed a long time and no one hurried us out.
Always a wonderful restaurant, because of it’s great environs, menu, food quality and service, Il Gattopardo has adapted to COVID restrictions beautifully.
Amazing service, great ambience, and outstanding food.
Il Gattopardo has simply the best social-distancing outdoor seating I've experienced in New York. In a space that most restaurants would crowd ten tables, Il Gattopardo spaces about 4 or five. It was fantastic. I felt safe and happy.
Bravo!
amazing place. so much beauty in the flowers and the people that work there. the food is wonderful also
Very special Easter family Celebration
restaurant was great from beginning to end. Waiters were very accommodating to all my dietary issues and food was great.
Due to Covid time, the only Easter tradition available to us was lunch at a fine restaurant. We were delighted we chose Il Gattopardo. The gracious greeting from the maitre d', the flexibility for us to dine inside or out, the attentive wait staff throughout the meal made for a most congenial experience. The menu is so well conceived that each of the four of us easily identified dishes we wanted. The two different ravioli were delicious, the octopus appetizer the best I have had in awhile, the zucchini dish scrumptious. We will definitely return.
Attentive service. Lovely dining space (although outside spaces appear even more quaint if the weather is nice). The pheasant pasta -- amazing & goat dish incredible. A great restaurant for special occasions and making memories. The only advice for patrons of what not to get -- forego the tomato & cucumber salad as it was not flavorful. Everything else was amazing, but this tasted like I cut up tomatoes and cucumbers and put them on a plate. Period. No olive oil or spices. Very bland. I'm actually wondering in the busy if someone forgot to top this off. Anyway, all else was fabulous, but $20 for a small tomato & cucumber salad with nothing on it was disappointing. We would recommend this restaurant and go here again despite the salad sadness!
The table immediately behind the hostess stand was hit with cold air every time the front door opened. Service was efficient but not special. Food was fine but also not special. I had the Branzino and my husband had the goat.
The food and service were excellent.
Beautifully prepared fresh food. Terrific menu. Relaxed atmosphere!
Had a lovely lunch outside with friends. Food was great and service was attentive but not intrusive.
This is a beautiful restaurant with a wonderful, attentive staff. We always have a lovely time whenever we have the opportunity to go there. There is a significant wine list, wonderful appetizers and pastas, suitable for vegetarians. The zabaione with fruit is a wonderful Italian dessert.
This restaurant is one of the gems of NYC. You need to eat here! Service is amazing, and food is perfect! One of my all time favs and I am so glad they have survived this past year!
Never been disappointed with the food and service. The home made pasta is a hit.
Less is more at Il Gattopardo, simplicity of ingredients for maximum taste.
Such a great spot. I walked by this restaurant years ago, and forgot about it. I recently stumbled upon it, while headed to a doctors appt. So I went for my fiancée's birthday.
Very professional service, upscale food. A bit pricey. Save it for a special occasion.
Would like to go back for lunch, in the summer and sit outside.
All the food was great.
Dessert was somewhat disappointing....
Very much enjoyed the service above all. They worked hard.
Everything was amazing. Such a great brunch. Loved it so much we’re going back for dinner tonight!
Hadn't been here since pre-Covid. They have done a lovely job of creating safe and attractive outdoor seating and the food was excellent.
Table wasn’t ready. Had to wait 20 minutes.
Always a favorite and it never disappoints. Service is excellent and the food is delicious.
As frequent travelers to Italy, we find this restaurant closest to the dining experiences were have in Italy.
Perfect for dates, special occasions or if you simply want to have good food and excellent service.
Excelente todo!
It is great to be back. I've been both inside and outside now an dthe service and food are as great as ever, with the exceedingly, yet unobtrusive, staff. Hooray for Gattopardo!
The food, service and ambiance was fantastic. The price was a little high.
Birthday dinner. I do believe that service Was excellent but that the prices were exorbitant for what was served the main courses were each over $60
Overpriced, setting is disappointing, Food is just average. Will not go back NYC has so many restaurants far superior where I repeatedly go back for another experience, and less expensive.
Lovely atmosphere and great service!
The waiter was fantastic! Concerned, attentive, good recommendations, accommodating. We were SO pleased! We'll be back soon...
Excellent as always. Outdoor dining space is quite charming, warm and very protected from the street. A real pleasure.
Dim lit ground floor of gorgeous building, exceptionally friendly staff, highly skilled at enticing you into an extra $38 glass of wine (price revealed at the end of meal when check arrives). Yes, we could’ve inquired up front.
Great service and the food was super fresh and delicious
Excellent service, excellent food, and a pleasant atmosphere all at Il Gattopardo. We had a very nice evening, starting out with vodka martinis with castelvetrano olives, which were perfect. The pasta courses were also top notch: my wife had the fettuccini on the menu and I had the ravioli special (stuffed with branzino and topped with baby shrimp). We finished by sharing a plate of veal scaloppine. Delicious! Two glasses of Pellagrello Nero (if I recall), and a tiramisu paired with some excellent barrel aged grappa completed the experience. Our server was attentive, personable, helpful, and kind. We were fully satisfied in every way.
