Il Garage Restaurant
Il Garage restaurant is located on the grounds of Park Ave Restaurant.
Best restaurant ever! Wr will definitely let everyone know about Il Garage.
Best food and dining experience!! Will be bringing my husband for our anniversary and his birthday!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our long, luxurious dinner experience at Il Garage. The food was outstanding, the view of the garden is lovely, and the service was first class.
If you have dinner on a chilly night, bring warm clothing! We sat “inside” an open garage and froze.
I love the GM who always ask me if I know Eric Peterson!!!! (My last name)
I am ALWAYS treated as if I’m someone very special!!!! I love it❣️
We had a wonderful dinner at Il Garage. Staff was very attentive. The vegetables were incredibly fresh. My caprese salad with heirloom tomatoes was delicious. I had a chicken parmigiana with pasta.
The ambiance is delightful as well.
Loved everything about this place. The ambiance, decor, service, and food were all very good.
We love il garage! My sister was out for a conference and we decided to go out the last day she was here. We had never taken her there and she enjoyed the setting as well as the food and service. This is on our list of “go to” places.
Great experience until I started puking my guts out a few hours after dinner from some spoiled gnocchi. I emailed the restaurant to give them a heads up and received a barely intelligible response. So, if you like to gamble with your gut, feel free to give this place a try!
Very enjoyable. Great food and atmosphere. Attentive service.
It was very nice.service was outstanding. Fettuccine was a little bland no flavor. But other than that it was overall good.
wine list too pricey, regardless of any argument in justification. but food and service were just fine - that's a compliment, however understated - and the garden environment is terrific. definitely worth our unconditional recommendation.
This is such a lovely restaurant with delicious food and wonderful hospitality team. Whenever I travel to Anaheim I make sure that I visit and introduce new friends and business partners to this hidden gem.
Loved it!! Food was delicious and service was attentive. The atmosphere is fantastic, like an oasis.
We have a very nice evening and the food was delicious. The weather was a bit warm and humid so it was slightly uncomfortable for me, but my husband was fine.
Jose, our server, was exceptional. He was attentive, courteous and knowledgeable on the menu. The food was as good as always The pasta that accompanied the chicken parmigiana , however, was very dry as I mentioned to Jose. We will definitely return.
This place was such a joy to be at and the food was delicious!
Wonderful place to feel informal but get really classy food. Service was perfect, with waiter attentive to the right degree, and Jacob checking on our satisfaction at just the right moments. Wine was overpriced, but both our appetizer and our main course (Chef’s Special herb-crusted sole accompanied by inventive, delicious combo of peaches & tomatoes) were delightful and perfectly prepared and worth the price. We must bring our friends here while the weather is so pleasant!
Love this jewel hidden in Stanton. I visit every time I am in California. A true fan. Thanks
Food was excellent. Our waiter was a little too chatty and did not provide information on specials. Another waiter provided that information, but that was after we had ordered appetizers, and there were appetizer specials that I would have ordered instead!
Wooden chairs could use pads.
The food was a disappointment if I was going to be honest. The risotto was incredibly undercooked and soupy instead of creamy. The bass seemed like it started as a frozen portioned filet that you can buy from the store. The only saving grace was the really pretty garden surrounds. I definitely would not go for the food.
Overpriced for quality. Setting was great. Wine way overpriced, food was so so
The setting of this restaurant is so romantic and the service and food are exceptional.
We have visited multiple times and we fall in love. The setting, service and meals make it one of our most favorite restaurants!
Great experience, ambiance is lovely. Mosquitoes might bite, because it is in the out doors. Waiters are knowledgeable. I ordered the lasagna I feel like the type of cheese that was on top made it have a salty taste, but it was yummy. (Another person felt the same way so I know it wasn’t just me 🙂)
This was my 2nd visit on my 1st visit I had the chicken parmigiana it was delicious. It comes with some buttered noodles that I wasn’t a big fan of, but the chicken was OH so yummy. Ordered dessert, devils chocolate afogaró with expresso and vanilla ice cream a must to try if you LOVE coffee.
We have eaten at Il Garage and Park Avenue many times. Sorry to say this time wasn’t that great. We brought friends who had never been there before and I doubt they’ll go again. Three of us ordered one of the specials, the boneless ribeye with risotto. The steak was very good, but the risotto was over cooked and very bland with little to no flavor. Also, for the price, a vegetable really should’ve been included. The service seemed a bit off too. One of our dining companions had ice tea. She was asked if she wanted a refill and she said no. The server took her ice tea glass though it was half full and we were not finished with dinner. Then when our leftovers were boxed, one of the steaks was returned, boxed but without the risotto that was left on the plate, but all the fat that had been also on the plate, was included. I know these are minor complaints in the scheme of restaurant dining, but when you are spending well over $300 for 4 meals, details really should matter.
I love this restaurant as I’ve been a few times when out for business. The service was ok and my meal was not what I’m used to here. Was disappointed! Will come back because I love the setting but hope the quality of the food and service is more up to par.
My husband and I really enjoyed Il Garage. This was my second time dining and his first.
The service was fantastic and our waiter was very attentive.
The ambiance is intimate (but a little dark) with good music.
The food is fantastic and we would definitely recommend dining here. The menu is always changing and it’s hard to choose just one dish to try.
Been several times to both sides here. Food tasted good, eventually. Everyone very nice but there were so many small misses. Any one, isn't important, but was one after another. Were a few open tables. Wasn't 100 pct full. But was avbusy Friday.
Delivered my wife's appetizer, forgot mine. Got mine ten minutes later. So i asked for butter for the bread, never got it. Asked again, got after main course, so that didn't help me while waiting for my appetizer. Was warm . Didn't refill iced tea or water until I asked, then did so. Asked many times to get my wife another glass of wine tho. My wife got her mussels for a main course Was so salty she couldn't eat it. We are 60. My wife isn't a complainer. I had to mention it. she'd just would have left it uneaten. Been eating vongle many, many years in US, Italy, etc
Sent it back. Was resauced and much more normal. She could eat it. Just a one off mistake I guess. My Cecka pasta came. No one came with parmesan. I asked. It came. I said ok, but waiter was hard of hearing so he kept going. Oh well. Very noisy there.
Then ordered desert. Expresso caramel tart. Was beautiful as delivered. But Almost impossible to actually eat. The hard shell caramel was a perfect ball around Expresso mouse, Graham cracker crust was 1 inch thick. Served with a fork, no knife. I Couldn't breakthrough the caramel shell. So removed it, cracked it into pieces. Then the crust was so hard I could barely cut it with my fork. One piece shot across the table I had to use such force. I reassembled it one bite at a time. Balanced a piece of shell I picked up with my fingers on my fork. Then added mouse. Then picked up a piece of the tart shell. Then ate it. Again, looked great, tasted good. Just not actually consumable. A real shame. Beautiful food once delivered. SOOO close. Everyone was super nice. Just too many misses. Oh well, was an entertaining 21 anniversary. We have a story at least.
Great location expected more Italian emphasis is on steaks wine is expensive for two appetizers four entries and one bottle of house pinto Grecian and one bottle of red Bill came to almost $400 for four people.
I enjoyed IL Garage and it’s sister in the same location, Park Avenue. Good service, good food, and delightful ambiance. Well done.
What a great idea for a restaurant. Actually in an old garage with a tractor in place and herb gardens and tomato's being grown. It is delightful and the food was very good. Try the roasted avocado's for a real treat. I thought no way, then encouraged by my wife and I did not want to share. Service staff works very hard as they are running up to the main restaurant for food and sometimes drinks, tip them well. We have already scheduled a return visit the end of this month.
Jose is the best server you could ask for. The whole evening was perfect! A true gem in OC.
Amazing experience! Food, drinks, service, and atmosphere are outstanding. Multiple staff members congratulated us on our anniversary and made it a personable, special night. If we could afford it, we'd eat here every weekend!
Minor mishap with our reservation, not a big deal at all. Manager came over, took full responsibility and gave us two appetizers to make up for it. Absolutely wonderful restaurant, fabulous food and obviously amazing manager and staff.
Very enjoyable evening, in a nice quiet atmosphere. The service was attentive without being stifling. All in all, we would definitely recommend it to our friends and family.
This is a hidden gem! Awesome food, excellent service, in an exceptionally pleasant venue.
There were 6 of us crummy husband’s birthday. Everything from start to finish was excellent. We’ve been here several times-no complaints.
