Since its inception in 1986, IL FORNELLO Restaurants has always been at the forefront of offering classic Italian fare with a modern flair. We were the first to introduce wood-fired oven pizzas to Toronto and one of the first mainstream restaurants to introduce an extensive plant-based menu. Known for its pizzas and pastas, each of our locations has special menu features tailored to its community and diners. Our menus also accommodate a wide-range of diets, from dairy-free to gluten-free – there’s something for everyone!

We sat outside the sunset was amazing the wine was exceptional and our server Sam was friendly and very attentive.

Our server was amazing. The Pollo pizza & the Sophia salad were delicious. Nice setting. Very busy but we were never neglected.

Great food - just didn’t love that the mains came while we were still working on soup, meaning we didn’t finish. I think better pacing is needed, and if mains come up, then server should ask versus just thrusting mains on us.

Enjoyed very much! Had calamari, spaghetti with seafood and fettuccine Alfredo. Service was excellent and prompt. Food was right temp and so tasty!

Staff were friendly. Ambience was nice but not cozy or romantic. Food was tasty and well prepared. Menu was extensive.

Beautiful interior of the restaurant and easy to find. Food pretty mid, but decently priced. Service was inconsistent and slow, given the restaurant was not busy at the time.

Very happy with this as our new local neighborhood spot for the family when we are looking for a enjoyable dinner or brunch out with the kids. Space feels warm and not pretentious. Staff are all down to earth and the daily specials such as happy hour or Sunday night pasta or Tuesday night half price chops keeps us coming back whenever there's a craving. Hope to see the quality stay the same along with the prices and portions. It's l very reasonable and worth it. So glad you opened up shop here!
