In Italy "pizza a legna" (wood-fired pizza) is available everywhere, but it wasn't until il FORNELLO opened their first Toronto restaurant and offered authentic, wood-fired oven baked, Neapolitan style, thin crust pizza that Torontonians were able to experience pizza the way it was meant to be enjoyed. Now there is an il FORNELLO, Italian kitchen and bar in seven neighbourhoods in the GTA (with more to come), still making the best pizza you have ever tasted and offering a delicious selection of authentic Italian antipasti, pastas, entrées and more in a welcoming environment inspired by the Italian table where you can relax, share and enjoy your meal with family and friends.

Such a great restaurant. We keep going back. Dan is a great front of the house manager and the food is always great. Today we had the ravioli of the day which was excellent. As well as some braised beef pasta thing of the day. The beef was some of the most tender I have ever had. Always great. Never a bad meal. Can't say enough great things aboot this restaurant.

We've been coming here for over a decade. Always love the food and the service is excellent. Dan always has an excellent wine menu.

Can never miss with the Oakville location. Have yet to have a bad experience. Food is always excellent, service is excellent, Dan the GM is fantastic and welcoming to everyone. Price point can't be beat for the level of service and food.

Our go to place for casual dining out night, food is always good as expected, hot and just the right portion. Manager is friendly and wait staff very accommodating to request.
