The restaurant is beautiful, and the outdoor seating was relaxing.
The staff were friendly, and presentation was beautiful.
Service was very slow, with us waiting +5 minutes to order our food, and twice that for them to bring out the carpaccio.
The Carpaccio was delightful. Fantastic meat choice, and truly fresh arugula/rocket, and a near perfect amount of seasoning. Worth it every time.
Lovely weather to dine al fresco for Thanksgiving. Great food and excellent service!
The food was excellent, especially the fettuccine Alfredo. The staff was so kind and made sure we were taken care at all times. Highly recommended!!
Restaurant has a lovely outdoor patio, spacious and quiet. A wonderful setting in which to enjoy great food and service.
Everything was yummy.
They have a lovely outdoor dining patio with heaters that's in the courtyard off of Colorado in Old Town. There's no car noise since you're not on the street, so it was a lovely dining experience. And the food was very good.
Food was good.. service very good.... needs more heat lamps....
I have never wrote a review and I am sad that I am writing a bad one. I went to Il Fornaio and was seated at a table where the servers were not clear who was covering - so did not have anyone approach until I waived someone down. Requested ice water - received water with no ice. Asked for a bottle of wine and was brought the incorrect wine. Ordered the Linguine Seafood and the mussels were not cooked all the way. The food lacked flavor. It was so disappointing. I hope this is helpful to this restaurant and they make immediate changes to their service.
Limited menu, cold weather outside, rather sad experience; only our server was very pleasant and attentive.
Even during COVID times, this was a great dining experience!
The food was really good and the service was great.
They’ve decorated the walkway area very nicely with outdoor tables and heaters and sparkly chandelier type lights in the trees! Very pleasant atmosphere to dine in. The food and service was great, as always!
For Covid dining experience, about as good as it gets-
As always 5 star food
Chicken was dry and service was ok, but nothing to write home about. Due to Covid we sat outside, but we were placed in a lovely tree lined lane, so the ambiance was quite appealing and helped make up (somewhat) for the problems. Il Fornaio is a staple in Pasadena and I have had good meals there before, so will come again, but they could definitely improve as the service just felt perfunctory this evening.
Came for my husbands birthday. Love the ambiance and the food. Staff is polite. Been coming here for the past 8 years. Love it. Look forward to many more dining experiences with you.
Excellent service and food!
We like this place because of the patio and outdoor dining, waiters all wearing masks and face shields, food is good, and they only allow maximum of 6 per table to prevent large gatherings.
All quite good except that the waitperson, Savanah, short changed me (I discovered after leaving unfortunately). Always annoying when the wait staff doesn’t pay attention to the correct charges.
Lovely night out! They have a lot of outdoor spaces and the gluten free selections made it easy and spectacular to get out and have great pasta, wine and even g free dessert
Great service, nice setting outside.
This is our second visit and we are so happy we returned. The food was perfect the first visit, however, the service was not pleasant. Everything was perfect this time, and especially the service.
Just great food and service at a difficult time - will be back
This is during the pandemic- so outside was lovely, great area to sit. Service during the pandemic is generally slower, but they were still very personable and we love it there!
Meal took 45 minutes to arrive and was burnt. The manager had it remade and was very apologetic. While the waitress was nice, she may have had too many tables to service as we wondered if she forgot to put in our order and never acknowledged the need for managerial intervention. The gentleman who brought the bread, drinks and utensils who also bussed the tables was excellent.
Seems nothing special about the food. The servers lack customer service. But ambiance is wonderful.
This place makes you feel as though you’re dining at your friend’s home.
The service, food, ambiance is driven by an outstanding manager- Daiano- who inspires the entire team to do their very best.
This person is the reason the restaurant is thriving despite the situation we’re going through.
The outdoor dining in the courtyard of One Colorado is beautiful and well done. We had a wonderful experience sitting outside at sunset enjoying a fine meal. I recommend it highly and I hope the outdoor dining continues after COVID is done.
The food was ok, slightly overpriced small servings, very unexciting bread. The service tho is what made our visit less than pleasant. Front of the house and servers alike made us feel unwelcome. It was almost like the people who work there didn’t want to be there. Wait until the pandemic is over to visit.
Seat had balsamic vinegar spilled on it and ruined the dress I was wearing. I brought it to the waitress attention and she seemed to not care. My fiancé lasagna top layer was burnt. He had to scrape it off. Disappointed as the ambiance was great and perfect outdoor dining seating.
the food was good but I think u changed chefs cause the taste was not the same !
And why was there a shorter menu ? What does the covid 19 have to do with changing chefs and menu ,
I always take the same choice but definitely noticed the taste was not the same .
This is Irene not Hal
Normally I really enjoy dining here, but had a bad experience with service. Tables adjacent were seated after us, and completed their meals even before we received our food. Also, items we ordered were out of stock, but we were not informed until we received something other than what we ordered. The food is still delicious, and I plan on returning, hopefully with a better experience than the most recent one.
I had the chicken pasta with a creamy truffle sauce that was delicious
Menu seems limited, staff was polite, but left us alone for a very long time, pizza was good, lasagna was bland. als, not much options for vegetarian plates. For the price point I would have expected more flavor from food. Ambience was great.
Horrible experience. After waiting for 30 minutes to be seated, then another 20 minutes for the waiter to to approach our table.
Then the waiter got the order wrong twice and forgot to bring the salad. When we told her that she got the order wrong, she said that she got us what we order and can bring the salad, if we still want it. We got fried calamari instead of the grilled one that we order. Very unfriendly.
Happy to see one of my favorite restaurants open during the pandemic; Although the menu is limited, what is available are great choices; something for everyone.
The food is top notch, the service is excellent, and the experience is hard to beat.
Overpriced Italian. Limited menu options for vegetarians(only 2 main dish options). Server was dismissive. Ambiance is nice.
Disappointed. Usually a very good restaurant with excellent service and food. This time the service was below their standard with no attention to detail.
