Everything was great but they need to reduce the salt in the food
Pre-show dinner, two couples
Good, solid Italian meal. Wine menu was just so-so. I asked for a taste of a Sangiovesi but the waiter said they don't do tastes...which was strange because the bar tender gave a taste to the man next to me...anyway. I had the Butternut Squash pasta and it was outstanding!! Pasta is always over priced so there isn't much to say about that. It would have been nice to have a small dinner salad but all the salads were $12-15 dollars. I would go here again....the food was good.
Outstanding service. We loved the salmon and the boulanese. We had an early dinner before the PAC 12 basketball game and this was the perfect choice for us.
Pasta and steak were excellent and loved the fresh bread!
We ordered off both the prix fixe and regular menu. Last time we ate here it was excellent, this time not so much. Perhaps because it was during the last hour and the staff was “over it”. Flat bread was ok. Chicken and potatoes off prix fixe was dry and not very good. Spaghetti was ok. Waiter boxed our food right on the table by just dumping it in the box. No longer the “nice sit down” restaurant it appears to be:(
Great time, great service and location.
Enjoyed the service staff friendly attitude to please! Quick, easy and good variety while enjoying people watching. You feel like you are outdoors yet climate controlled. Great location as we had reservations at the Bar at Times Square for an evening of dueling pianos, great fun!
Wonderful authentic Italian food that was reasonable priced, and just the right portions...appies were fantastic! Had some problems with service, had to ask 3 times before we got any ice, but otherwise we loved the place...in fact we went back twice.
We eat there often before the Vegas Golden Knights Hockey game. It is so convenient!!
My daughter ordered the veal and it was dry and cold.
The food is not good and waaaaaaaay over priced. I felt sick after eating there. I will never go back.
Service is good. We ordered risotto, veal and the seafood pasta. All were bland, I sent the veal back in exchange for a pizza. The menu is very basic Italian. Disappointing experience.
Good food, good service...hard to beat! Perfectly cooked scallops and the Ravioli was delicious.
I was disappointed with I'll Fornaio in Las Vegas. They have stopped using white table cloths and the noise level is very high. The prices are up there too. For two, with a first course and a main each, two adult beverages each. It cost $150.00+ with tip. We're from San Francisco and that kind of money will get you a much better meal and location at that branch of I'll Fornaio. Try Galliger's at the same Casino. Same high cost, just better.
Great place for dining before or after a show . Menu is authentic Italian so if you’re looking for standard lasagna, they won’t have it. Food is very good though. Some seating is ‘outdoor’ but not outside - you are out in the casino ( which is supposed to look like a NY street) so if you’re looking for a quiet romantic place, ask to be seated inside. The outdoor seating does offer some great people watching though! Service was impeccable.
Il Fornaio has been our must go to place ever since we 1st visited Las Vegas in 1997. It has never disappointed and did not this time. Excellent food and service.
We went to dinner on Sunday February 11, 2018 and it was a disaster from the beginning. We ordered a salad and they only had a choice of dressings that had anchovies in it. Being allergic to fish I asked for an alternate and he came back with a pure oil. So I didn't eat any salad. The bread came and it was hard and not warm or fresh. We asked for butter and the butter was hard as a rock. We ordered the only roasted chicken dish. When the meal came out the chicken was under cooked and had a sauce that was less than desireable. The waiter was not very friendly and made us feel bad when we asked for anything. The truth is we paid the $80 for the meal and never ate any of it and walked out. We told the hostess when we left and she was like I am sorry and never offered to refund anything. I thought they would at least make an offer for half of the meal. Neadless to say we went to the steak house right around the corner that was AMAZING and so so good with awesome staff. I would not recommend this. They have changed and the food has changed and both not for the better.
Handicapped friendly. Wonderful creative menu with daily specials. Service was excellent. We liked the restaurant so much that we went 2 nights.
Service was great and everything was delicious. I liked the option of small plates and we shared a couple of pizzas.
I had the sea bass and i love fish but all I could taste was the spice weed they stuffed inside it. It was to be lemon flavored which I like but it was not good and there wasn’t much to it either.
My wife had a special lemonade cocktail which she didn’t like but that may just be her taste as I thought it was good. She had the seafood combination with pasta in a red sauce and said it was very blan and tasteless.
My daughter had one of the fancy salads and said it was just OK.
Overall it was over priced and not what we expected, it would have been alright if we were at the buffet.
Good value. Large portions. Slow service seemed due to low staffing on a Saturday night. They need to be staffed better.
We've eaten here several times and always found it to be wonderful!
Our waitress had an odd conversation about possible chicken bones in a dish one of my guests wanted to order. It was very ackward and begged the question, why would you have a dish on your menu that required a disclaimer about potential choking from it? The manager came over to further 'explain' it and that added to the oddness and awkwardness of the conversation. It just set a negative tone for the evening. Another of my guests was served the wrong meal, so the rest of us wkwardly ate slowly while his meal was being made. While the food was tasty overall, it was not hot enough.
We chose to eat in the bar as the noise level was lower. Service was good. Salads were good. Caprese salad was excellant. All four pasta dishes were bland, disappointing. Pistacio ice cream was delicious. The meal as a whole was overpriced, not a good value.
We sat on the patio outside the restaurant and we loved it. Great food and service!
The food was, as expected, excellent. Service was top notch. Our waiter was right there with his recommendations. I've enjoyed Il Fornaio for many years at NYNY. This restaurant continues to be one of my favorites on the strip....
Needed a change from the typical steak meal in Vegas. Had the sausage ravioli and it was sublime and the perfect alternative!
Perfect dinner before the Santana show.
Made a reservation for a birthday. The website asked what kind of special event it was, The hostess acknowledged the birthday and that is it. Not a beep from the waiter nor a cake or a cupcake nor ice cream. Big big difference from Tao from the night before.
A great place to people-watch inside NY NY. The bread was actually cold (like it had been in the fridge?). The pasta is always great, but a little pricey (typical Vegas).
Chicken dry and got the meal deal for $39.00. I got chicken Parmesan paid extra $8.00. No sauce
Fantastic service, fantastic food and drinks!, thank you my wife loved it.
My husband and I arrived a few minutes before our reservation time and were promptly seated. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, and did not rush us. We ordered a bottle of wine and wanted to wait a few minutes before ordering our appetizers and entree. Timing of the food was great. My husband ordered the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. It was tender and juicy. I ordered Branzino (fish) and it was delicious. After our entrees were done we were not rushed to order dessert. We shared an ice cream dessert.
The only complaint is that the noise level is loud. If you sit outside it tends to be smoky so your better choice is to dine indoors if smoke from the casino bothers you, which we did.
Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience and great food.
I do not come back again.
Nothing works. Everybody looks uninterested and cheap.
My daughter had the special salad entree and dessert. She ordered the salad which she didn’t like very much and the entree was ziti in a meat sauce which was filled with bacon which was odd so she didn’t like that. Cheesecake for dessert was not even good. The service was very good but food neither of us liked.
Wish there were more vegan options on the menu. The service was great in any case.
Excellent food and great waiter. Felt kind of rushed but probably our fault as the food was so great. We devoured it as fast as they brought it out.
Outstanding Italian fare with meticulous service. For my birthday, the waitstaff sang happy birthday to me.
Our group of 8 went for dinner before Zumanity one night. We ordered a LOT of food and alcohol and we all enjoyed all of it. Ricardo was our server and was attentive and did a good job. We all loved the food. The only things I didn't appreciate were: we were charged for the big water bottles they brought to the table and Ricardo took it upon himself to "double our appetizer order because he knew they'd be too small for our size group". Paying for water with out that being disclosed to us was distasteful I thought, especially considering the money we were spending there and I would have like the option to say yes or no to doubling our appetizer plates. Would I return, yes!
