Food was good. Tables were well spaced. Attention was paid to allergies.
Awesome place manage drew is great food portions extremely big.
Party of 22 enough food to feed 40. AWESOME SPOT!!!
Tonight the service was very attentive, nice wine list, beautiful salads, entrees plated with finesse. Disappointed they didn’t have their signature pan a cotta, but the tiramisu and cannoli were delicious. Wonderful ambiance and view of the bay and SD Bay. Excellent experience! Earlier luncheon visit not so good, but it seems they have gotten their pre-Covid mojo back!
I came in from New York to visit an elderly relative. We arrived early for our reservation and I wanted to tour the landing. The staff was very accommodating by allowing my elderly cousin to have a seat at a table while I walked around a bit. Once I arrived back we had to move from the the that had a beautiful view to another due to a banquet. Who knew, the view was even more spectacular. And the food! Wow, fantastic!! Highly recommend. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful visit and phenomenal dinner. Hats off to you!
Excellent ambiance for a business lunch. Food was excellent. Service a little slow but we are all ramping up now, right? Certainly attentive and professional. Thanks for a terrific experience overall.
The view, customer service and the food was awesome! Definitely coming back.
Excellent Food! Beautiful Place! I was so excited to go here for our Anniversary. My husband was skeptical but he said he made a mistake and was so glad we went.
Food was fresh and tasty. Service was good not great but it was Mother’s Day and the restaurant was very busy. The staff was doing their best. We were seated outside at 5pm and even though it was a little chilly, as soon as the heater was turned on we were all comfortable and enjoying the beautiful view of the bay.
Gnocchi was amazing; bread was SO good. Good social distancing measures
Great location and service
We (2 adults) sat down at a table for 30 minutes and had no service beyond water. We were informed our waiter was running behind due to flipping between lunch and dinner and would be with us shortly. Of the two other tables sat shortly after us, we were the last ones served. I will say that once we got our waiter (a different one than we were told), he was very attentive. I honestly considered leaving but it was the day before Mother’s Day so reservations were not available.
Mother’s Day celebration was fantastic. Thank you for the delicious food and wonderful service. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Great to get out and celebrate again.
Again. great food, wine, service, view...a real winner for any special occasion.
Food was okay, service good and great view!
Food was excellent, restaurant was very nice with outside seating and heaters. Service was a bit off but waiter was very nice. Tried to get heater turned down and got no assistance despite numerous requests...
Not worth it.
Overcooked salmon, overcooked pasta, overcooked and dry chicken. Sent back the salmon and came back raw. No one came over to address the issues. Never refilled my water, or gave any other attention. Both salads were good and beautiful view.
Disappointed. This was one of my favorite restaurants, this time it was really disappointing. The menu has changed, prices increased and the food just wasn't up to the same caliber as it used to be. Service also was disappointing, special requests put in open table weren't even acknowledged. They apparently are getting rid of table linens. Some tables had them, some did not. We asked our server and she indicated new tables didn't need linens. It really made you feel like you were sitting at the children's table when people around you had table cloths. The lasagna was extremely disappointing, it was the texture of a cheese enchilada. Bread is no longer complimentary with your meal. Paying for it I expected the awesome bread they used to have and that wasn't the case. No more olive bread. No more fresh grated cheese either. You get a plastic container like a pizza place gives you for take out. On the bright side the tiramisu desert was still good but had a blanket of cocoa powder on the top that had to be brushed off. The place no longer has the look or feel of it's former self. Perhaps it will get better once we are past Covid restrictions, but for now I'll just stay away.
Overall recommend eating here as beautiful view. Feel like our service wasn’t as great as others since we didn’t get alcohol.
Great food, weather, location, and service. Can't go wrong! Our waiter, Juan Carlos, was especially helpful, generous, and hospitable. We will definitely be back! Know dat!!
Wonderful place for a birthday dinner! Staff was so friendly and the specials menu was incredible
Good but not great.
Good, not great.
Food was good.
Marinara sauce, so, so.
Great food with beauty setting and view.
Food was fabulous. We were a little disappointed in the service. Sat for awhile, didn’t get set ups, wanted to order wine had to ask, wAnted an appetizer had to be proactive again , had to ask for bread, did not split our salad. Just felt a little neglected and overlooked most of the night . But again, food was great.
I wish I knew the server’s name, he was outstanding!
Felt sorry for the only female server who had the whole Happy Hour patio to herself to service!
Had to find a manager to be waited on after 15+ minutes.
View and food delicious
Overpriced Olive Garden. Comment may sound harsh but its the impression it gave us. The mushroom gnocchi we ordered has tasteless and oily...
This was a disappointment. From the reception, who could not seat us on time, get this, because they did not have menus printed, to seating us on the porch even though we asked for inside because it was cold. When we asked for the staff the pull down the plastic window covers to restrict the air they said they could not and we went inside to an uncomfortable table. THEN someone outside did pull the plastic windbreakers down. So we bought a bottle of wine for 38 dollars which cost 8.99 retail. But restaurant alcohol is always double, but in this case more than triple. So I ordered the tagliatelle with bolognese but it was not really tagliatelle ( I make my own pasta at home) and the bolognese was hamburger with a few spices. This is a chain restaurant with an overpriced attitude. Kind of an overdone Olive Garden.
I would not return under any circumstances because there are way too many quality Italian restaurants in Little Italy in San Diego but I wanted to see Coronado so woe is me.
The only great thing about my experience at this restaurant was the view of San Diego. Service was all right but the food quality, presentation and taste were below mediocre. Salmon was super dry and the steak was barely grilled! like it was made in the microwave! Very few options as well!
Well....first of all the drinks were nice and the bartender was nice. In fact everyone was nice. Was a little surprised to see a 2% Covid surcharge on my bill. Hadn’t seen that before. Bread was good. Lasagna was ok. Salmon was way over cooked, which was a little surprising since they specialize in seafood. On the plus side they comped that portion.
We loved it. Everything was amazing.
Pasta dish with clams mussels scallops shrimp was very good as was the Caesar salad. Service was prompt and attentive
The food, service and atmosphere are always top-notch here! It's been of my go-to favorites for years!
Cold food and double charged me - I won’t go back , and expensive
Not a good visit. Waiter shirt unkept and dirty. Messed up drink orders. Food, usually quite good, was bland and lukewarm. Like other operators staffing is an issue. We fault management for permitting waiter to take his shift, considering his uniform appearance.
Wonderful as usual! Atmosphere and food can't be beat. Thank you
Food overpriced and signature drinks did not taste good.
We ate outside with a great view of San Diego Bay and the downtown. We are regulars and have never had a bad meal here. This was excellent as usual. The mixed seafood grill was great, as was the pasta dish. Save room for the killer sourdough.
