    Consistently very good. Monthly menu changes keep Our expectations high and I’ll Fornio never disappoints. The servers are top notch and nice to be around.

    We had a great time dining at IL Fornaio. Food, ambience and everything was great. Big shout out Don when I left my purse behind, he helped ship it back to me. Taking customer service to next level. Thanks again for lovely time and going an extra him to help.

    Well it took an hour and a half from the time we sat down and finally left. Our food was good but the service was slow and our waitress rarely checked in on us. Never came back to get us another drink and our dinner took quite a while to come out. She was very absent, didn’t really explain the specials and was rushed. I most likely will not return.

    We had a very nice meal. Very nicely prepared lasagna and seafood linguine. Also, a very nice and innovative salad of arugula, couscous, avocado, tomato, red onion, capers and raisins was delicious and large enough to share. Very good wines by the glass.

    Hannah was the best! We were between two items and Hannah has a great sense of what is great on the menu as well as what we might like! Definitely top restaurant in Carmel!

    The food was overall outstanding. All of the ingredients in the caprese salad were fresh and the octopus was outstanding. All four patrons enjoyed their entrees equally well. The pasta was delicious and tasted homemade, and the chicken Parmesan large and delicious. Lasagna comes out on a sizzling skillet which kept it nice and warm, and everything melted together happily. In retrospect would have skipped dessert (panna cotta missed the mark) and service was fine if though not very personal, but if you’re just going for food and not ambiance, it was overall excellent.
