    Everything is always great at Il Fornaio-Burlingame. It is one of our favorite restaurants. The ambience is cozy and elegant. Service is excellent. Food and drinks are truly wonderful, full of flavor. The polipo con pat ate is one of the bests we have tasted. The linguine mare chiaro is excellent in flavor but I think the clams and mussels need to be cooked just a little bit more. Usually it’s perfectly cooked. The gnocchi pesto arlecchino is flavorful. The Caesar salad is always satisfying. The battered Cod was okay. (I prefer the batter cooked a little crispier. And the doily on the plate sticks with the fish). The coffee panna cotta al caffe is an excellent way to end the meal. Overall, always a delight to be here.

    The food was pretty good. Our waiter was a different story. He needs a different line of work. He was unfriendly and inattentive. Not sure we’re going back if that’s their idea of service

    Wonderful, wonderful place in Burlingame. Sam our waiter was fun & attentive. Perfect way to end my stay in california!

    So delicious as always! Impeccable service. , Lovely atmosphere. As a person who is hard of hearing, though, I found it difficult to hear my dining companions with the happy group next to us having a great time!

    Came here on Father's Day for a late lunch. Everything was perfect. I loved my chicken pasta in cream sauce. All our party loved the food. Our waiter was great. He was very personable and professional. Il Fornio is one of our favorites. Open all day as we tend to eat between 3-5 and the food is always delicious.

    Three of us long time friends had a celebratory birthday dinner. One of my friends has severe food restrictions. Our waitress, I believe her name is Carla, was so caring, and with the wonderful attention of the chefs, made sure my friend did not go home hungry. This was a first. They were so accommodating. The food was delicious. Also, we weren’t rushed. A very enjoyable evening.
