    We always have a fantastic experience at Il Fornaio, and this time was no exception. Our waiter Justin was attentive, caring, and patient. My parents always share a salad and an entree, and he had the kitchen split their dishes. They appreciated not having to split it at the table (which happens at many restaurants). Nick came over and checked on us too and made sure we got extra parmesan cheese. The food was amazing as always. The salmon was perfectly grilled and my parents' caesar salad and pasta bolognese was fantastic. The birthday ice cream at the end was a very sweet touch! Thank you for a great evening!

    We were seated in the perfect corner spot. The servers were attentive and knowledgeable. One of my grandchildren is allergic to egg and the server went to the kitchen and spoke to the chef, and we felt confident that there would be no contact with egg. We had a great family dinner without having to do the cooking!

    Wonderful experience, fantastic service, and a place we call home. Il Fornaio Burlingame holds a special place for our family. We have been coming here for many years and it’s always held its high level! Bravo!

    We really enjoyed having Richard as our waiter. Friendly and patient. It was a birthday celebration and the complimentary desert was a treat for the whole table as we shared with the birthday girl. Thanks.

    Everything is always great at Il Fornaio-Burlingame. It is one of our favorite restaurants. The ambience is cozy and elegant. Service is excellent. Food and drinks are truly wonderful, full of flavor. The polipo con pat ate is one of the bests we have tasted. The linguine mare chiaro is excellent in flavor but I think the clams and mussels need to be cooked just a little bit more. Usually it’s perfectly cooked. The gnocchi pesto arlecchino is flavorful. The Caesar salad is always satisfying. The battered Cod was okay. (I prefer the batter cooked a little crispier. And the doily on the plate sticks with the fish). The coffee panna cotta al caffe is an excellent way to end the meal. Overall, always a delight to be here.

    The food was pretty good. Our waiter was a different story. He needs a different line of work. He was unfriendly and inattentive. Not sure we’re going back if that’s their idea of service
