They have changed some of the menu items, ordered a burrata pesto pizza and the tomato was cut so thick that it was still cold
Food was excellent. Service was great. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal!!
Nice venue in heart of Beverly Hills. Staff were quite good as was the food. Definitely will return.
Never lets you down...predicable and rewarding... great service... real food...reasonable...fun.
Great dining experience. Will definitely come back.
Our food was terrible ... chicken dry without any taste, pasta over cooked....
Amazing experience. Wonderful food and service for lunch.
I haven’t been there in years and forgot about the amazing food. Service was excellent as well. Will definitely go back!
Il Fornaio is our neighborhood comfort food Italian restaurant, always open, always good. Their grilled chicken with spicy sauce is reason enough to come here.
Very good minestrone, salads too.
Breakfast is a little problematic, food tends to arrive a little cold and they need to toast the focaccia bread more. But we love it anyway!
Great fresh-squeezed OJ
Wonderful service and great food!!
We visit this restaurant annually on our Rodeo Drive shopping trip. The food and service have always been excellent. This trip, however, we had a poor server. He rarely checked back with us, for one order wrong then tried to blame the chefs which upset them. We were sitting at the table directly across from the chefs counter and witnessed the display. That was unpleasant, as well. We will chalk this up to the poor server and will return next year.
The service was great! Our server Angelo was wonderful. The food was quite good and they were very accommodating with all our special requests.
Quality always excellent, bring back Lamb chops !
A charge for an Arnold Palmer refill? Left me with a bad taste for management.
Worst service ever, waited 20mn outside with a basket of bread, no water and not a single person bother to stop by. Had to complain to the manager, for him to personally take our order. A server finally “took over” blaming everything under the sun but taking no accountability, the said manager actually brought us our food, to then disappear and not even bother to check if we needed anything else. Nothing comped, didn’t not care a bit after being a patron of that restaurant for 10+ years. 2 glasses of wine, a Marguerita pizza & a subpar plate of pasta later, we walked away being charged $70. A rip-off !!!
AMAZING FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.
This place is always rock solid. Great food, great service, great prices.
Amazing food. Fantastic service. Great ambiance. Very good prices. You must try it.
I gave this restaurant four stars only because the lady at the check-in did not even acknowledge us when we came in. It took another guy coming to ask about our reservation. She seemed preoccupied with a chat with another lady and I wondered if she was deliberately non attentive because we were a minority couple. Other than that, the overall experience was good.
The food is not the same as used to be. It’s bland and boring.
Prices definitely high for this kind of bistro and the food.
Service was ok.
My chicken was dry, they had to remake my husbands dish several times. It’s over priced, was there too long because of all the issues. Disappointed!
We dine at Il Fornaio at least one a month, service was disappointing and the food was just OK
We had reservations at 2 pm. We’re not seated till almost 3 Took a while to get even bread and butter. Steak that was ordered medium rare arrived well done. Second one was bloody. Food was fine but service very poor.
About to order waiter said cannot have pizza or calzone. Then waiters kept trying to bring us wrong salads and our waiter got mad and he was not attentive. Waited an hour for two lasagnes and a spaghetti and meatball. No one ever apologized. Had to ask for water. People kept bumping into table. Implement chaos. Never again.
We arrived at 11:30 on Father’s Day - too late for brunch and too early for lunch. We were offered pizza, salad and cold appetizers. Very disappointed.
Great time for Father's Day breakfast. Everyone loved what they ordered. The service was excellent and not rushed.
We ordered cocktails to have before the meal, but they were delivered well into the meal. The bread was served without butter so we had to wait until we could flag someone to get it and the water that we had requested with the cocktails. Tried to order an after meal latte, but got tired of waiting and finally saw the manager, who helped us get our bill. Other tables around us were also complaining that they had to ask at least a few times to get their bill. A shame as this used to be a destination place.
Reliably good, if not exciting food. Easy, comfortable . Make reservations for dinner for sure. Often crowded.
Wonderful staff, wonderful food, wonderful ambiance 10/10
This was our final dinner while visiting CA for 7 days and was a great ending. Our service was excellent, the food was outstanding...just an all around great experience...even late in the day. The scallops were cooked perfectly, the short ribs were delicious. We will definitely be back for more.
The food is always great and the service was excellent!
Jose (Pepe) was our substitute waiter (unknowingly to us, Tim left after taking our order). He was fantastic. Tim did make recommendations for our meal from the specialty menu and we were very happy with the selections. This was our last stop on the Passport and we are hoping that one of us wins the trip.
Very nice. Not uniquely outstanding but solid. Perfect for lunch.
food is pretty average, service was excellent.
I liked the openness of the place, lots of light from outside. Good food. We were on our way to the Annenberg, so it was convenient. Parking next door not too outrageous.
Not as good s the last time. Food and service less than expected. Ambiance is lovely but was a bit noisier than in the last due to several crying toddlers
Must of been an off night. It’s my go to spot when I’m visiting LA but it’s been some years now. Dishes I used to rave about were mediocre and almost inedible I’ll give it another chance I suppose.
We really enjoyed dining here before our play at The Wallis: fast, friendly, and professional service; authentic and fresh Italian food; and comfortable ambiance.
We had a fantastic time over supper at Il Fornaio— the food was excellent! Service was great too... special occasion type of place but amazing!
Another outstanding meal surrounded by caring and hardworking staff, had a wonderful evening and always love having dinner here! I highly recommend this restaurant!
