This beautiful restaurant is a short walk away from Madison Square Park, Il Fiorista means The Florist in Italian, where we explore botanical ingredients in our brunch, dinner, and bar menus. Much like Italian cuisine this allows for local and seasonal produce, we source from the Union Square Greenmarket and local producers. Il Fiorista is open seven days a week for dinner and aperitivo hour, also weekend brunch with indoor and patio seating featuring specials from our extensive wine list and cocktails. Also our private dining is available for large parties and events.

    The food was delicious and the staff was great. The only thing I could say that wasn’t amazing was there was a big party sitting near us that was really loud but other than that I would absolutely go back.

    where do i begin! the entire experience was nothing short of incredible. From the food to our server Angel. his deep voice added a soothing tone to what was a crowded restaurant. the beet salad was so good i was left wanting more, and the branzino was beautifully cooked, and finally the honey lavender gelato is a must-have as the refined flavor melted right on my tongue. Overall, the food was amazing and the service is the epitome of what nyc hospitality should be!

    Went for my gfs birthday. Put out flowers for her and brought up a dessert with a candle. The food was amazing. We did the 4 course paring, and loved every second of it. They really made her birthday special.

    Food was incredibly underwhelming. They offer gluten free pasta but it’s not good at all (I have had many gf pastas and there is no excuse for it to be as bad as it was!). Avoid the lavender pasta altogether! The crispy artichoke hearts were so disappointing- completely lacking in any kind of seasoning and very oily. I had to ask for salt. We got put in the back room, alone, which had ZERO ambience whatsoever (even though I had a reservation and we should have been prioritized). Service and wine was great though.

    Tried the 4 course prefix with the wine pairing. It was superb. The pairings were excellent and wait staff was very attentive. We love and appreciate NYC restaurants for their professionalism. Il Florista is an excellent example.

    The chefs menu was a nice experience. Was a bit confused with how few desserts came out and the need to share from larger plates for a couple of courses. The food itself was greats main knock was my table waiting for nearly 30 minutes past the reservation time for our table.
