We really enjoyed our time at Il Chianti! They had live music and the atmosphere was wonderful. We will be going back soon!
Third time here.l! The food is always delicious and the ambience is nice. There was live entertainment on Valentine’s Day. It’s a nice place for a date night close to home
Loved this little gem! Everybody who works there were so friendly and the food was delicious! I will definitely go back!
Read The positive reviews so I went to see for myself. I was pleasantly surprised by not only the attentive service but the nice setting. Lots of tables fairly close together but comfortable. It was a Saturday night so there was a musical performer who is very enjoyable. He did not drown out our conversation. The food was delicious. I would’ve liked to see more selections on the menu. The chef came out to greet us and the servers were very personable. Overall, an excellent neighborhood restaurant. I will definitely go back.
The food is superb. Especially the caprese salad which was perfect. The service is excellent. The price is extremely reasonable for this quality of food. If in doubt order one of the risottos. You won't be disappointed.
Way too many tables for the restaurant space. After reading so many reviews, we were VERY disappointed. Waiter was too obsequious.
Very friendly atmosphere. The owner/chef came over to the table a few times to be sure all was well prepared.
This was our first time to the restaurant, and we were thrilled at the quality of the food and the personality of the service! The owner came over and spoke to us for quite a while, and he is a success story all by himself. Each and every member of the staff we came in contact with was very friendly; we seriously felt like regulars by the time we left, which is something you seldom if ever experience. But again, I don't want to minimize the quality of the food; it was authentic Italian cuisine, cooked with care. Very nicely done!
Great food! Everything we had was delicious and I can't wait to return.
New Year’s Eve was extremely busy, they were slammed, it was a hectic evening and we really couldn’t and didn’t want to linger so we were in and out in an hour and a half. Food was good but not great but the Chef has good PR and service was friendly. Live one-man singer/guitarist was cool and made the dinner feel more special. Also glad to support a Filipino chef/owner who successfully incorporates “Filipino” with Italian. We may come back but on an ordinary day!
Always a great time Chianti's. Food is excellent, everyone treats you like family and I make it a point to dine there every time I'm in town.
Outstanding food. Every dish, appetizers, salads, soups and even deserts were good. Great recommendations. Service very good. Been here a few times and we enjoy this small place. Saturday, they have music too. Only thing tonight I did not lime is pace of food, i.e. ordered soups and salads came out before appetizers. I don't like when that happens and many times I will not order to assist with it not happening. Rookie server mistake IMO, i.e. either holding orders to pace them or ensure kitchen knows correct timing.
Not enough of mistake to not go back. May slow my ordering next time to ensure I get the food at the right times, when we want the different courses.
I would recommend calling the restaurant to ensure they are not closed for a private party, even if it appears they have availability through OpenTable. Despite making a reservation approximately 24 hours in advance, we did not know the restaurant would be closed for a private function until walking up to the entrance. The staff seemed surprised that this had happened, as someone was supposed to have listed them as closed but did not. Presumably they also had not checked the system for any pending reservations. The owner offered 20% off of a later visit, which was a small concession, but did not solve the inconvenience of having to find a new location for a birthday lunch, especially given that the restaurant location requires some planning for anyone who does not live in the immediate vicinity. I realize accidents happen, but it was just a disappointing experience and poor first impression for a restaurant we were looking forward to trying.
Very good neighborhood gem with very good food, good service, good ambiance, very good entertainment (Calvin Brooks), and convenient location.
Great Food-Great Service. Will be back again real soon
Great hidden find! They make you feel like family and the food is delicious! We will definitely go back!!!
Food was fabulous but what out for the “creative” upselling techniques
Wonderful food and service as always. Quickly becoming my daughters favorite restaurant.
Food & service were excellent as were the prices. What surprised me was the fact that this "Italian" restaurant put out the best "French" onion soup I have ever had. Il Chianti is worth return trips for the soup as well as its menu. Nice find!
This was my first time, it was awesome and we'll definitely be back!!
Chef Rudy and the Il Chianti family are the best! Best food and the best hospitality in Vegas. More than just Italian food. Don’t miss this gem whether you are a local or visiting!
The restaurant was a surprise based on the location. The food was excellent and it was a pleasure to talk to Chef Rudy. We only went for lunch so it was not crowded at all. The experience was good but would have been great if the "timing" on the service was a little better. It took a little while to get our water and the bread was delivered when we finished our salad. As the bread was delivered, our salad dish was taken AND our bread dish was also taken so we were left waiting for our main meal with bread and no bread dish. It's a small thing, but it's the small things that make a restaurant "great". Just a comment!
Can't believe we had this gem so close and never went. Amaxing lamp chop appetizer! Bread sticks were so fabulous with balsamic reduction. Wow. Salmon salad was do great. Crunchy skin and so moist. Pasta Mediterranean was so rich and yummy. CannolI for desert, the best. I booked my birthday party here! Ask for Rose. She is absolutely wonderful. She knows the menu and will recommend to your tastes. A must try. We also met the Chef who is so talented and a really caring, nice guy. Does so much for children in need.
Wow. Going back soon.
We enjoyed the restaurant very much. We got to speak to the owner who was very friendly. We will be going back.
Chef Rudy and Carlo were two of the best ever! Loved it!
I had the Linguine with Clams - clams were very fresh, the broth, a little too much garlic
My companion had Saltimbocca - did not enjoy and hardly ate it as cheese overpowered
the veal. Had requested that basil be used in lieu of sage and that was done but veal was
The waitress was excellent - very attentive and apologetic. She let the Chef know
the dissatisfaction and one of the entree's was removed from the bill.
May give the restaurant a second chance
Service was authentically great. The people were great, the Chef evens comes out to talk to you.
Live music a nice touch. Meatballs were excellent, but veal was very tough and the lemon in the pasta was too much..
Special occassion dinner but no recognition offered except verbal congrats.
Excellent food and service. The portions are good size , worth driving to and of course, hats off to Chef Rudy!!!
Hidden in a small strip mall, this restaurant is easy to overlook. Once you've found it, however, you will plan your return visit. Great food and service. The Seafood Pan Roast is fantastic!
The food at Il chianti is amazing! I had the chef Rudy 's adobo nation. The portion was large and so delicious. I had leftovers and it was almost better the next day. The atmosphere is nice and quiet with old music playing in the background. Chef Rudy always stops by your table to say hello. If you are in the mood for Italian, you have to check this place out. You will not be disappointed!
