Outstanding authentic Italian food like we had in Italy! Chef/Owner waited on us and was so informative. Food outstanding. Nightly live music to set the mood.
Going back for my son's birthday this week.
Food was amazing and service was excellent!!
Never fails to disappoint and is close enough to Boulder City to be another "local" option for us. Outstanding attention to detail by Chef Rudy and his wife.
We were so lucky to stumble upon this gem. Excellent food, impeccable service, and the owner is a delight. Wish we could transport this fabulous place to the Midwest!
THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT, THE FOOD WAS ALSO EXCELLENT, OUR SERVER ROGER WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND TOOK GREAT CARE OF US. WOULD GO BACK AGAIN!
Food and service were excellent. Very friendly place, made us feel at home quickly. Guitar music by Calvin Brooks was fabulous. The chef makes personal contact to assure great quality. This is a real gem of a restaurant. Our server, Rosie, was a hoot. Thanks for a great night.
Il Chianti is by far our favorite restaurant in the Las Vegas/Henderson area. The service is always top notch and the food is incredible!
Il Chianti has excellent food and reasonably priced. Chef Rudy and staff make this feel like a family gathering every time you go. Chef Rudy comes out and visits with the customers. It feels like a family after you've been there once. I have taken several friends and family there as well as just stopping in on our own for a nice dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant.
What a great surprise this little restaurant was! The food was delicious - everything our table ordered, we raved about! The Chef/owner came out numerous times to check on us, so friendly.
“Neighborhood gem” is a perfect description. We’ll definitely be back!
The service was top notch! The food was so deliciously tasty & so much of it we had to take some home. Beautiful restaurant, cannot wait to take our friends & family there! Chef Rudy (the owner) even came out of the busy kitchen to greet customers! Get reservations because the restaurant fills up fast after 5:30!😋
Love this restaurant! Owner and staff are wonderful, kind and appreciative to all its patrons!
Wonderful ambiance! Food and service a 10 for sure! Restaurant staff and chef made you feel like they really appreciated your business!
Absolutely top notch ! I will be going back ever time im in Las Vegas 😀
Service was impeccable. Chef visited every table! Music was a nice touch. Food was great. I didn’t add anything....
No salt. Nothing. Perfectly seasoned. We want to go back to try another menu item!!
So friendly and the food was wonderful!
Loved it! The food was flavorful and well-presented. Chef Rudy visited the table and made us feel special. I’ll definitely return the next time I’m in LV and have already recommended this restaurant to friends who live in LV.
Afraid to say too many good things because we won't be able to get a reservation! The service was delightful and efficient. The food was tasty and generous. The chef and owner was warm and friendly. The live entertainment was Calvin Brooks and he was great-not too loud and got people singing and dancing at times throughout the evening. We will be back!
An outstanding small Italian restaurant where the head chef is a - Filipino! Rudy (the owner and chef) came to our table twice during our meal to chat, make sure all was to our liking, and to make recommendations on the finer things. We hadn't been there before but for sure will return. With a bottle (and a full glass afterward) of wine, two appetizers, and four entrees, our bill was only $200. What a deal!
My wife and I are exploring new local restaurants in our new town. We found Il Chianti Italian on open table and the reviews were good. So we decided to give it a try and it was more than good, it was deliciously great. Best Veal parmigiana I've ever tasted. The place was a cozy, the chef was making rounds and we felt like we were his personal guests. This little gem will be a regular for us over the years.
I went here as a result of reading some reviews on Yelp. It was definitely worth the drive. The atmosphere was intimate, yet casual clothing is just fine. Great live music by a singer.. loud enough to be heard, yet not loud where you have to should across the table. The food was excellent and good portioned forcing us to take some home.
We really enjoyed our time at Il Chianti! They had live music and the atmosphere was wonderful. We will be going back soon!
Third time here.l! The food is always delicious and the ambience is nice. There was live entertainment on Valentine’s Day. It’s a nice place for a date night close to home
Loved this little gem! Everybody who works there were so friendly and the food was delicious! I will definitely go back!
Read The positive reviews so I went to see for myself. I was pleasantly surprised by not only the attentive service but the nice setting. Lots of tables fairly close together but comfortable. It was a Saturday night so there was a musical performer who is very enjoyable. He did not drown out our conversation. The food was delicious. I would’ve liked to see more selections on the menu. The chef came out to greet us and the servers were very personable. Overall, an excellent neighborhood restaurant. I will definitely go back.
The food is superb. Especially the caprese salad which was perfect. The service is excellent. The price is extremely reasonable for this quality of food. If in doubt order one of the risottos. You won't be disappointed.
Way too many tables for the restaurant space. After reading so many reviews, we were VERY disappointed. Waiter was too obsequious.
Very friendly atmosphere. The owner/chef came over to the table a few times to be sure all was well prepared.
This was our first time to the restaurant, and we were thrilled at the quality of the food and the personality of the service! The owner came over and spoke to us for quite a while, and he is a success story all by himself. Each and every member of the staff we came in contact with was very friendly; we seriously felt like regulars by the time we left, which is something you seldom if ever experience. But again, I don't want to minimize the quality of the food; it was authentic Italian cuisine, cooked with care. Very nicely done!
Great food! Everything we had was delicious and I can't wait to return.
New Year’s Eve was extremely busy, they were slammed, it was a hectic evening and we really couldn’t and didn’t want to linger so we were in and out in an hour and a half. Food was good but not great but the Chef has good PR and service was friendly. Live one-man singer/guitarist was cool and made the dinner feel more special. Also glad to support a Filipino chef/owner who successfully incorporates “Filipino” with Italian. We may come back but on an ordinary day!
Always a great time Chianti's. Food is excellent, everyone treats you like family and I make it a point to dine there every time I'm in town.
Outstanding food. Every dish, appetizers, salads, soups and even deserts were good. Great recommendations. Service very good. Been here a few times and we enjoy this small place. Saturday, they have music too. Only thing tonight I did not lime is pace of food, i.e. ordered soups and salads came out before appetizers. I don't like when that happens and many times I will not order to assist with it not happening. Rookie server mistake IMO, i.e. either holding orders to pace them or ensure kitchen knows correct timing.
Not enough of mistake to not go back. May slow my ordering next time to ensure I get the food at the right times, when we want the different courses.
I would recommend calling the restaurant to ensure they are not closed for a private party, even if it appears they have availability through OpenTable. Despite making a reservation approximately 24 hours in advance, we did not know the restaurant would be closed for a private function until walking up to the entrance. The staff seemed surprised that this had happened, as someone was supposed to have listed them as closed but did not. Presumably they also had not checked the system for any pending reservations. The owner offered 20% off of a later visit, which was a small concession, but did not solve the inconvenience of having to find a new location for a birthday lunch, especially given that the restaurant location requires some planning for anyone who does not live in the immediate vicinity. I realize accidents happen, but it was just a disappointing experience and poor first impression for a restaurant we were looking forward to trying.
Very good neighborhood gem with very good food, good service, good ambiance, very good entertainment (Calvin Brooks), and convenient location.
Great Food-Great Service. Will be back again real soon
Great hidden find! They make you feel like family and the food is delicious! We will definitely go back!!!
Food was fabulous but what out for the “creative” upselling techniques
Wonderful food and service as always. Quickly becoming my daughters favorite restaurant.
Food & service were excellent as were the prices. What surprised me was the fact that this "Italian" restaurant put out the best "French" onion soup I have ever had. Il Chianti is worth return trips for the soup as well as its menu. Nice find!
This was my first time, it was awesome and we'll definitely be back!!
