Located in the historic Fulton Market district of Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood, il Carciofo is a Roman Italian restaurant drawing inspiration from the restaurants and markets in one of Chef Joe's favorite cities, Rome. The restaurant offers a seasonal menu of elevated yet familiar Italian fare with traditional antipasti, Roman-style pizzas, hand-rolled pastas produced daily in a dedicated pasta lab and market-driven mains that highlight the season's bounty.

    MillerKnoll Exclusive Luncheon at Il Carciofo MillerKnoll is pleased to offer an exclusive luncheon experience for client hosting at Il Carciofo, located at 1045 Fulton Market, on Monday and Tuesday, June 9 and 10. Reservations may be made for parties of up to 10 guests and will feature a curated lunch menu along with a la carte beverage options. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, with reservation times beginning at 11:00 AM and concluding with the final seating at 1:30 PM. Please note the following booking guidelines: This experience is reserved for MillerKnoll-hosted client groups only. To ensure availability for all teams, we kindly request one reservation per hosted group. The cost of the meal will be covered by the hosting team and should be expensed through standard T&E channels. Please reach out to designdaysrequests@millerknoll.com with any questions. We look forward to providing your clients with a memorable dining experience. An automatic 18% service charge will be added automatically to all checks.

    We were excited to try this restaurant based on a friend’s recommendation. We arrived at 8:30. The restaurant is pretty. It was crowded and a little loud. We were told that the pastas were large and meant to be shared. We had the suppli ragu and it was good. By 10pm the pasta had not arrived. We asked about it and were told that “pasta takes time.” When it did arrive it was a small portion. Definitely not meant to feed more than one person. It also was not like any pasta carbonara I have ever had. We left hungry. :(

    I had heard from USA Today that now you can get a reservation as was very hard. I understand now why that’s possible. Had two recommended pastas that were very mediocre and Veal saltimbocca that wasn’t great. Potatoes and comped broccoli dish given slow service were not good. Nothin terrible but all dishes were consistently mediocre. Felt Ike Olive Garden. Will never go back as so many better alternatives.

    Fabulous experience. Outstanding service- Ryan was amazing- super knowledgeable and everything he recommended was absolutely delicious. Our table of 6 had a great time and we can’t wait to come back!

    Fun menu that can be enjoyed family style. Kudos to our server Enrico who noted our occasion (Yes to the Dress) and surprised us with prosecco and dessert after dinner. that’s service that is much appreciated

    Everything we had was exceptional. We started with the fried artichoke, the salad, and the lamb ribs, then had the mortadella panini and the carbonara. Sat at chef’s counter so the noise level was high but it was a fun experience.
