   Mixed reviews on the food. Crudo was excellent, salad was nice, spaghetti w vongole was just bad. Very buttery. Lots of clam shells, no clams. Drinks were goid - call out to a Roman holiday. Not returning.

   Some highs, some mehs, but a decent dinner. Standouts included the Dasil Basey cocktail, the lamb ribs (amazing!), rigatoni w/ guanciale (va bene), the bread served with the prosciutto appetizer, and the pistachio gelato. I’d also say that the Cacio was decent if not maybe a little TOO al dente. The zucchini pizza wasn’t exactly flavor-packed, and the funghi was even less interesting. The pesto/ragu riced ball appetizers were ok but not great. Generally my thinking is that in finer dining establishments, when you are served smaller plates, those plates should be exciting to your mouth, both flavorful and interesting beyond the idea. They should be quite good and I didn’t get that from at least half of the dishes we ordered. I was telling my companion, I want what whoever voted this place one of the best new restaurants in the world, had. THAT should be a separate menu because the rest felt underwhelming after coming in with such high expectations.

   Place is special. My 4th time and gets better every time. The steak was cooked perfectly. We had 3 pastas and all were excellent. The saltimbocca dish was unbelievable.

   Just a perfect meal from beginning to end. Caitlin was a joy and the whole staff was attentive without being over bearing. The food was Italian done at its best. Bravo.

   We sat at the chef's counter and had a great dinner. The lamb ribs and gnochetti were highlights, but everything was delicious.

   I would definitely go back for the pasta and the cappuccino was the best I ever had. I was expecting to be transported to Rome but outside of the wait staff and food nothing said “Rome”. What was particularly disappointing was the music. It was not enjoyable or relaxing and definitely took away from my experience of dining as opposed to eating. I did however appreciate the two complimentary glasses of prosecco for our anniversary and the wine we had was exceptional.

   Our waiter was very good and his recommendations for food and wine were top notch. We all enjoyed the food and the pastas were amazing.
