   So let me say that the waiter was good and the food was good. now for the bad. we ordered 2 bottles of Amarone. needless to say it was expensive...around $350 Canadian per bottle. the first one was borderline corked but only a person that knows wine could tell, so we kept it. The second was clearly corked and we let the Maitre'd know. He came over and tasted it and said something like "yes this tastes different". not "yes this is bad". anyway, he left to go inside and came out with another bottle. He said if we liked Amarone, we would like this. turned out to be a Cabernet. He opened it and let me taste it. it was fine. I said well how much is it. he said about the same as the Amarone and went inside to get a (get this) a bucket of ice. while gone we googled the wine and it turned out to be a $50 USD bottle. When he came out I confronted him on this and he gave me some lame excuse that since it's not available in Canada it's way more than that. for the next 20 minutes he tried in a variety of ways to convince me that this $50 bottle was worth the same as the Amarone. Then he showed me the price on the wine list and it was $200 Canadian (all while we are trying to enjoy our meal!!!). This guy tried to pull one over on us and got caught. The wait staff was mortified. he is a crook and you should not eat here. We are in the process of contacting the authorities in Canada.
