Tom was a fantastic waiter. He was very nice, informative and passionate about the offerings. Nice job Tom!
Enjoyable atmosphere with good eats.
Mucho ruido en el restaurant
Lo mejor fue el postre
No dejen de probar el tirano si es el mejor que he probado en mi vida
We have been here a few times in recent years when visiting whistler. This year we were informed that the restaurant had been taken over. It’s a really lovely re-fit, food was good but won’t be rushing back again anytime soon as wine very expensive!!
Nice atmosphere great service and food.
We loved it and thought it was one of the best meals we have ever had in Whistler!
A must for all foodies
Superb food and service. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. We also got a great recommendation on wine from the sommelier since we were but overwhelmed by the wine choices. Would highly recommend!
The pasta was overcooked.
The lasagne was very overcooked and of poor quality.
Amazing food and great service
Delicious food and great service.
Very good dinner. Not as expensive as I would have guessed
Ate here while on vacation. Food was spectacular. Loved our waitress Lois too.
Great night, Bach was phenomenal! Tortellini is a must.
Amazing dinner with family while in Whistler. I would not recommend this restaurant for small kids as it is very elegant but we had my 3 year old son with us and they did a great job of accommodating us for our early meal. Delicious food- my favorite during our trip.
It was nice, well designed and delicious but it’s expensive.
Everything was delicious. Our best meal in Whistler. Highly recommend! Our server Brogan was great and provided excellent service! Will definitely come back.
Fabulous...what more can I say?! This place was on my list to visit while in Whistler Village and I am soooo glad I did! Everything was very well thought of and well-done from the atmosphere, décor, menus, service and staff. I was there on March 8, 2018 and Brogan was our server and she was the best! She was pleasant, polite and on top of everything! Hoping to visit again the next time I'm in Whister and hoping Brogan will be there as well! Will recommend to all that this restaurant is a MUST and make your reservations early so you will get in while visiting the area. I had the butternut squash tortellini and it was decadent! Thank you chefs for creating such delicious food!
Very poor customer service. Had a reservation and clearly our table was not ready and they attempted to seat us in the lounge without asking. Finally seated over 30 minutes passed the reservation time without any apologies or acknowledgement of the inconvenience. In addition it was my daughters birthday, the least they could have done is comped her dessert. Very disappointing for a restaurant of this ilk
On holiday in Whistler with my wife. We ate in a number of the top restaurants that feature in various reviews. This restaurant ticks all the boxes. I would give it a Michelin star if I could. It was faultless in every way. I enjoy eating in fine restaurants in my home of England and know a good restaurant by now. Go ahead and book a table. You really should enjoy every aspect of your meal there
Good wonderful but They rush you through dinner... $100 bottle of wine served at a pace of a 400 meter dash
We made a same-day reservation an hour before arrival on a busy Friday night. We arrived a few minutes early and were told that there would be a short wait for the table, which ended up being a 45 minute wait. However the hostess was gracious enough to provide us with free bubbly and she apologized profusely. Once we finally got to our table, we were taken very well care of by our server, and had exceptional service throughout. The renovated decor is fresh and modern, the atmosphere vibrant, and the food was delicious. Our 11 yr old child was given the option of a full-size plate of pasta or half size, and having ordered full-size, she ended up with enough leftovers for her lunch the next day. We will return!
Menu and wine list were excellent
All of our selections were delicious
Our server, Brogan was outstanding
I would go again
Our meals here varied hugely, the butternut squash tortolloni was delicious , one of the nicest I’ve had. However the rigatoni with the ragu sauce was very disappointing ,it was dry with very little ragu sauce and not very hot. None of the plates were heated.
The broccoli and the cos salad were tasty and our waitress was very pleasant and efficient .
Gluten free options aren’t marked on the menu but gf pasta available (not homemade).
Loved this restaurant. It has top notch food and service (not just for Whistler - we're from NYC and this restaurant could do well there.) More upscale in terms of food and atmoshphere than some of the other eateries in the village but not formal. There was a mix of families with kids and adult only tables. One of the better meals we've had anywhere - the pasta was really delicate and delicious. The sommelier recommended a great bottle of wine. Service was delightful. You will be glad you ate there!
Outstanding in every respect. Superior. Excellent find to wrap up our visit to Whistler.
Food and service amazing. Much better than Araxi on all counts
The food was delicious. Sommelier was super helpful and found us a delicious bottle of wine to accompany our meal choices.
Nice and new and very chic! Good food and service.
Delicious food and lovely service.
Wonderful Italian meal in Whistler. Great service. The butternut tortallone was buttery. The rigatoni perfect. The Bolognese good. Service excellent.
We frequent Whistler every few years. This place is new, but not really. Owned by Araxi around the way, where we also always dine. We have dined at all the top spots here and consider this one of the best meals we have ever had here. I`m surprised that people standing out front are not scalping reservations. I think next time I will make two and give it a go. We ordered drinks and worked our way through the menu. The plates are a little on the small side, but that just gives you the opportunity to try different things. I would only make changes to one of them. You can share and pass them around like Chinese food. We ordered at least five different plates, and all were cooked to perfection and dropped on the table at the same time. If I was in poor heath with a few weeks to live. I would go here to die.
Great Italian meal. The ambiance was elegant while remaining family friendly. Service was attentive and our food came quickly.
My date and myself tried this restaurant out for the first time on Valentines day. For the most part it was good although it didn't blow me away, besides the Carpaccio which was excellent. For appetizer we had the Carpaccio and the scallop dish and for dinner it was the lasagna and Butternut squash tortillini.
As stated above the Carpaccio was delicious and very well presented!. As for the scallops though myself and date were both not loving this dish, presentation was decent but we both felt the scallops smelt fishy and were under cooked slightly, also the pomegranate just didn't work well and seemed out of place in my opinion. The cauliflower on the other hand was good (coming from somebody who doesn't even like it) Be nice if this dish could get fixed. Maybe less fancy more savoury? i dont know..
As far as dinner was concerned we were both happy with our meals. Lasagna was tasty, side salad was meh.
My date had tortellini which she enjoyed, very rich tasting but nothing wrong with that!, sort of reminded me of the butternut squash ravioli from Cactus club which i love as well. presentation could've used some more colour. Hope this review helps being a new restaurant and all:).....We would come back, but id skip the Scallops ;)
Service was good, our server was nice at the start felt like maybe they want to turn tables quickly which i can understand being a big money day but then she eased up and we enjoyed our time.
The gf and I enjoyed our dinner here, but i have a bone to pick! We eat early so we booked the earliest time and even though the place was empty except for two other tables we still had a couple sit right next to us! We find that so annoying and it happens at other places too! I can't understand why this is done?
The food is top quality and the drinks are all good, next time we're in town we plan on trying the lounge for drinks.
Service was slow but very accommodating The food was excellent. Would definitely return
Everything was fantastic! Service was excellent, food was delicious and interesting...butternut squash tortellini was incredible! Highly recommend!
We went to Il Caminetto for 5:15 pm dinner reservation. It was to celebrate our friend's 60th birthday and our last night at Whistler. The food was amazing both in taste and presentation. The service was great the beginning of the evening. However as the restaurant got crowded, the service was slow as if they did not have enough staff. We had to wait 15 min to order our dessert and another 20 to get them. I would highly recommend
this restaurant. The management needs to have more people working on weekend nights.
Exciting to try recently opened new ll Caminetto in Whistler. The experience did not disappoint. The atmosphere was buzzy but not overly noisy. The menu offered a variety of pastas and secondi that were most delicious and accompanied by a wine list with an extensive Italian focus. Excellent service living up to Top Table Group standards.
