   Had a fabulous time at Il Bistro for mother's day. The staff were extremely hospitable and gave us a lovely outside table which caught the sun in the afternoon. The food was excellent, we all had pasta dishes which were lovely and fresh and flavoursome. There is a wide range to choose from the food menu, tasty starters, sides, yummy cocktails and a delicious selection of deserts. The staff were friendly and chatty and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal out. Would definitely come back!

   We had a warm welcome as we walked in but we were sat on the first floor in a small room with another family & it felt like we were way to close. Our starters arrived before any of our drinks which arrived a few minutes after we’d finished eating. The family next to us were complaining they had asked for their bill three times. Different staff taking orders, we didn’t feel valued at all & the food was very average.

   We had to send our stakes back as very poorly cooked. Ended up not eating them, veg basic and very sad looking, sauce gloopy, lumpy and inedible. Very, very disappointing. Don’t come here for a stake.

   We enjoyed our night at il bistro, the overall experience delivered as we expected it to. It had a nice atmosphere, friendly and attentive service and a reasonably wide menu. Food was good. Would return.

   Very enjoyable dinner at Il Bistro. I feel the upstairs part of the restaurant doesn't have the same atmosphere as downstairs which is more buzzy and good.

    First time at Il Bistro for my wife and I to celebrate my birthday. Wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Had contacted Abe to say that I might have difficulty with steep stairs, he immediately got back to me with a solution. So glad we went ahead and booked. We were welcomed on arrival, thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, wine and cocktails. Service was attentive and helpful, ambience special, a nice place to be. Highly recommend, looking forward to our next visit.
