III Forks Palm Beach Gardens Ratings and Reviews
Awesome food and service. Restaurant was busy but we were seated immediately and never felt like we were waiting on food. The food itself (steak, fish, scallops, and pork chops) was cooked perfectly for all 6 in our party. Definitely a go-to in Palm Beach Gardens.
My husband and I went last night to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was perfect. We had a table reserved with a note wishing us a Happy Anniversary from the restaurant, which was a thoughtful touch. The food and steaks were amazing per usual and our service by (Ben?) was top notch. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Thank you III Forks for a memorable evening out! 😀
When we arrived we were seated in the far back room it was very cold. My wife asked if we could sit in a booth in the main room they told her no. I went to the hostess and requested a table by the bar where it was warmer. I asked for the burger and the waitress said we have a set menu we were told when we made the reservations a month earlier the we could order from the regular menue. Are food arived ant the lamb chops were like leather I informed the waitresd and it appeared she mever told anyone about mo one ask us if we would like somthing different we paid for our meal and left
To begin with, even with a reservation we were seated in the noisy bar area where people were cocstsntly walking over to the football games that were on the TV.
Caesar salad was average. Filet was over seasoned however it was cooked to our desired doneness. The vegetables we ordered were extremely salty. We let the server know and he simply shrugged his shoulders. We will not return.
Disappointed in our table location: horrible. Table for 6 positioned right next to very loud sports-bar atmosphere. NOT what we had planned for a holiday business get together. Reservation made well in advance. We are a local company - not tourists. This is our second year going to III Forks for employee dinner. Will think twice before trying again - or refuse to sit in bar if that seating location is offered. Bill was over $600. We did not eat 'bar food'.
The four of us had steak. Everyone enjoyed their entree. This the the 3rd time we dinned there. Each as good as the last time. The server Lauren was outstanding. Friendly, nice personality and most importantly very accommodating. She is an asset to lll Forks.
We ate with friends. My dinner was ok, just ok, Both of my friends had rib eye steaks that were not cooked properly. I asked for pepper sauce for my main dish and the sauce was watery and tasteless. I also did not like the fact that there was an extra charge for the sauce.
I asked for my spinach to be served as a creamed spinach dish and I have to say, it was terrible. Thin watery and again, tasteless.
Very surprised that the dinner was so disappointing. When we eat at the local steakhouses, Ruth Chris, Capital Grille and Okeechobee Steak House we are always more than satisfied. They are all far superior.
Someone at your establishment needs to get their act together.
III Forks has good quality meat, but the preparation is not up to the standards of what a fine steak house (like Porterhouse in NYC or the Capitale Grille) should be. 3 people at our table had the filet Mignon topped with blue cheese and a “bordelaise” sauce. The blue cheese was burned, and the bordelaise sauce wasnt really one, rather a strange tomato mixture that did not go with the blue cheese topping. We scraped it to the side. Overall, fine but not one to choose over the Capital grille.
Food was delicious and the service was very good. The thing that I questioned was why Happy Hour was served only while sitting at the bar and not while dining at tables. I can understand why they don't want Happy Hour people taking up tables for dining, but it you are dining/ordering food, why not accommodate Happy Hour at the table if it is within the time frame. Confusing. Great hamburgers!
My fiancé and I went to celebrate our engagement. This was our first time here. The service was amazing!!!! They gave us complimentary champagne and dessert for the celebration. Our server gave us food recommendations and was dead on! The food was delicious!! We have been to many steakhouses but this one was by far our favorite thus far! We will definitely be back!
We had a problem with the wine we ordered. We thought we were ordering sparkling rose and so did the waiter as he brought champagne flutes to the table. When he brought the first bottle and took out a corkscrew I told him that sparkling wine can’t have a cork. He asked me to make another selection which I did. The waiter again brought a wine with a cork and I remarked that how does sparkling wine have a traditional cork. The waiter attempted to open the bottle and broke the cork. He went to the manager to show him. We were told that another bottle would be brought out. A waitress came over to open the bottle and also remarked that there was a traditional cork in a bottle we all thought that was supposed to be sparkling. She opened and poured out a dark red liquid that was slightly fizzy. She remarked that she never saw a rose in that color and we agreed. I told her that something was wrong with the color and taste. We put the wine aside and didn’t drink it. After three wrong bottles our anniversary dinner was ruined. The most disappointing thing was that the manager totally ignored us and sent messages back via the waiter. He didn’t have the courtesy to stop by our table and speak with us. Then to top it off, he took off half the price of the bottle instead of the entire price. Again this message came via the waiter. Although Tom the manager was continually making his rounds of the restaurant, he purposely avoided and ignored us. After repeatedly patronizing this restaurant for years, we were appalled by the behavior of the manager. We will not return.
