III Forks Palm Beach Gardens Ratings and Reviews
The food and the service was excellent. The waitress was so nice and wonderful. Overall everything was good, but the price was unbelievable. It will be fantastic if they send coupons sometimes even on Groupon. It was a great experience; Me and my fiancé enjoyed ourselves.
Terrible dining experience. Aged bone-in rib-eye (@$120) was so tough we couldn't cut through it with a steak knife. And when we advised the manager, he was rude, insulting and insolent. We will never go back.
NOTE: our server, Rita, was lovely and felt terrible about the way we were treated.
Overall very pleasant and we may give it another try. Our service started out as outstanding but then tailed off rapidly when a large group seated beside us drew all the attention of the server and we were essentially abandoned for the rest of the evening, resulting in a long drawn out period of nothingness after we had our meal until we paid our bill. We don't recommend the six cheeses scalloped potatoes...I think ours was under-cooked since the potatoes tasted half raw.
We frequent this restaurant at least twice per month. On this occasion three of four meals were terrific. The other diner experienced a strip steak that was very under cooked. It was ordered well done and it came rare. It was not sent back or brought to the attention of our waiter. This also happened about two weeks ago. A steak was ordered well and it was delivered rare. On that occasion it was sent back and still came back medium rare. She gave up and just didn’t eat it and took it home. Our waiter, John, on this visit was just OK, not very friendly. Mark is our favorite waiter and Teach a close second. The number one element of a good dining experience is consistency and it hasn’t been great lately. We dine out four nights per week and really appreciate consistency. BTW, we love Tanner in the bar.
My wife and i went to 3 Forks in PBG, FL., for our anniversary. It was a nice quiet and elegant atmosphere. Our waiter, Ben Handy, was on top of everything from start to finish, even suggesting a great wine with my meal. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Lobster mac was incredible. Will definitely recommend and return to this restaurant.
Perfect dining experience. We were seated immediately in a comfortable booth and were greeted by our server immediately.
The staff are amazing, friendly and professional and never too far away. We had filet mignon, house salad and lobster Mac and cheese. Everything was perfectly prepares and to die for! Definitely will return for more!!
Service was top notch, wish I could say the same for our steaks. My husband and I both had the NY strip ($48 ea), and friend had the 8 oz Filet. Both NY strips had little flavor, as well as long strips of tendon in both steaks that we had trouble cutting through, let alone eating. All 3 of us ordered medium rare, and they came out blood red. Friend had to send his back to cook a little more. Brussel sprouts were outstanding, as were the salads.
Will try another steak house next time to compare.
Everything was perfect!! We split the Caesar’s and III Forks salads, I thought the Caesar was a bit too cheesy so I’ll stick with the III Forks next time. Steaks are cooked just a tad on the rarer side so we ordered medium rare plus and it came out perfect! Ask for Rita, she is one of the best servers there.
I cannot remember having a better steak. I ordered the 12 oz. filet mignon and it absolutely melted in my mouth. We also ordered the Brussels sprouts and six cheese potatoes as side dishes and they were out of this world. I also ordered the crabcake as an appetizer and while there was a ton of crab in it, it was served lukewarm which was disappointing. The service was incredible; Mark and Teach did a fabulous job!
Food was very good. A little on the expensive side. Our server was lovely but everything seemed to take a very long time to arrive. People who arrived after us had drinks and meals before we did. Entree was brought out and then a delay, then the sides arrived. They might want to deliver everything at the same time.
Last night my husband and I decided to have a nice dinner out. Our waiter, Antonio was fabulous. Our dinner and drinks were all delicious. Until we were finished eating and I went to grab a piece of bread and there was a giant black beetle inside the bread. About that time, I'm assuming he was a manager of some sort since he was dressed in a suit, came over to ask how everything was. We told him everything was fantastic except the giant bug in our bread and I showed it to him. I really think he thought I was joking, but I wasn't. He replied "I've never had this happen in my life, we get this bread fresh". He wrapped it up in the black napkin, looking mortified and said he would be right back. He never came back. We could see him helping serve other tables and checking on other tables and he never came back or even acknowledged the fact that our $150 meal just had a giant black beetle in it. Our waiter had no clue, because the manager had taken the bread and never said anything to him. We don't expect hand outs or anything. But he never even came back to apologize or even acknowledge the fact that we had a bug in our food. And it wasn't small. It was huge. So, we paid for our 130 meal and tipped our fabulous waiter 20% because it was every bit deserved. But I can't say that we will ever be back, which is a shame, because it really was delicious. But a little acknowledgment would have been nice.
Food, including options for non-steak eaters, is fantastic, as is the impecable and friendly service. I’ve been here multiple times, and it never disappoints. This is one of those places that you talk about, and, as soon as you mention it’s name, anyone who’s been there says the same thing, “I love it there.” Now, in fairness, it’s quite pricey. But, as long as you know that, you will not be disappointed. And, make sure you get the bread pudding.
III Forks was a great experience !! This is a much better choice than Ruth's Chris and on par with the best. I had a blackened strip steak with the garlic blue cheese bordelaise sauce which perfectly cooked. Other had the bone in rib eye and the salmon and they were cooked to perfection. The lamb meatballs and the scallops appetizers were unique and very tasty. Great choice and excellent wine list.
Awesome food and service. Restaurant was busy but we were seated immediately and never felt like we were waiting on food. The food itself (steak, fish, scallops, and pork chops) was cooked perfectly for all 6 in our party. Definitely a go-to in Palm Beach Gardens.
