III Forks Palm Beach Gardens Ratings and Reviews
My fiancé and I went to celebrate our engagement. This was our first time here. The service was amazing!!!! They gave us complimentary champagne and dessert for the celebration. Our server gave us food recommendations and was dead on! The food was delicious!! We have been to many steakhouses but this one was by far our favorite thus far! We will definitely be back!
We had a problem with the wine we ordered. We thought we were ordering sparkling rose and so did the waiter as he brought champagne flutes to the table. When he brought the first bottle and took out a corkscrew I told him that sparkling wine can’t have a cork. He asked me to make another selection which I did. The waiter again brought a wine with a cork and I remarked that how does sparkling wine have a traditional cork. The waiter attempted to open the bottle and broke the cork. He went to the manager to show him. We were told that another bottle would be brought out. A waitress came over to open the bottle and also remarked that there was a traditional cork in a bottle we all thought that was supposed to be sparkling. She opened and poured out a dark red liquid that was slightly fizzy. She remarked that she never saw a rose in that color and we agreed. I told her that something was wrong with the color and taste. We put the wine aside and didn’t drink it. After three wrong bottles our anniversary dinner was ruined. The most disappointing thing was that the manager totally ignored us and sent messages back via the waiter. He didn’t have the courtesy to stop by our table and speak with us. Then to top it off, he took off half the price of the bottle instead of the entire price. Again this message came via the waiter. Although Tom the manager was continually making his rounds of the restaurant, he purposely avoided and ignored us. After repeatedly patronizing this restaurant for years, we were appalled by the behavior of the manager. We will not return.
Our experience was delightful, staff at all levels went out of their way to make it a special dining event
we met many of our neighbors and friends enjoying varied dinner options and all seemed overjoyed
a special thanks to our wait staff,Christine and our wine specialist Leonardo
Our recent trip to 3 forks was very enjoyable. I loved the ambiance and seating arrangements. It is a very intimate setting, but you can also have a large group in one of their private rooms. Food was delicious, and service was very friendly. Not completely overpriced. Standard steakhouse pricing. I would recommend and return.
My husband and I have enjoyed many meals at this restaurant. We recently had a family member who endured medical issues and surgery, so we were both quite burnt out and decided not to cook this Thanksgiving. We were thrilled that III Forks was hosting Thanksgiving and made our reservations, anticipating a wonderful meal.
We are SO disappointed! The first course was soup. I ordered the tomato soup, which tasted more like meat marinated and cooked for hours in a tomato base. It tasted more like a bad entree rather than a soup. After 1 or 2 spoonfuls I could not eat it. My husband ordered the lobster bisque, which though tasty, was luke warm. The next course was salad which was nothing exciting, field greens with a couple of walnuts and sliced apple with a tasteless dressing. I am not a white meat eater, and was told that in order to get dark meat, I would have to order separately from the inclusive dinner ($48/pp). The dark meat would consist of a turkey leg that had been deep fried and would cost an additional $16. I chose to go with the white meat that was included, disheartened that for a moderately expensive meal I was not given a choice. The main meal was okay, nothing exciting, with cranberry sauce that was unrecognizable ( it was mixed with orange zest and ground into a consistency that felt like you were eating gritty zest), fair stuffing, plain mashed potatoes that were tasteless, sweet potatoes that were actually good, green beans that looked like a mushy hot mess, and decent turkey. The menu prepared you for a "smorgasbord of desserts" but what we received was a choice of 3 small portioned slices of pie, accompanied by cold coffee and the wrong type of tea that I had ordered. My husband and I both looked at each other and said never again, it's home cooking no matter how exhausted we are. Very disappointed in III Forks.
Quite disappointed. Saw this restaurant featured on a local TV show and the reviewers gave it an excellent rating. We anticipated a great evening only to be let down by a very mediocre meal. Ordered a Rib Eye with the bone in. The meat was tough, grizzly and lacked the characteristics of a fine piece of aged meat. My wife had a shrimp dish and while the presentation was good the shrimp themselves were under cooked and the dish poorly flavored.
Given the prices we paid strongly doubt we will ever return to see if we just hit an off night.
This was our first time at 3 Forks. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and had requested a quiet table for 2. Our experience was perfect from the time we walked into the dining room. As requested we had a quiet table for 2 in a "romantic" section of the dining room. That was the start of the most memorable anniversary dinner. From the perfectly cooked porterhouse steak for 2 to the seasoned mashed potatoes and the marvelous seared brussels sprouts it was the perfect dinner. We are looking forward to our next trip to Palm Beach Gardens
Absolutely perfect every time we dine at III Forks in Palm Beach Gardens. This was a special occasion to honor my Veteran husband that served in the Army. Thank you to all of our armed forces not just on Veteran's day but everyday! Fernando suggested an amazing bottle of wine that complimented our Filet Mignon dinners. Very courteous servers too. Lynne & Ron Jangaard.
Had a wonderful dinner on Veteran’s Day. III Forks gave Veteran’s a fabulous offer of up to $40 off an entree. That’s so awesome and as usual our dinner exceeded our expectations. Tonight my husband had the filet with the off the cob creamed corn and I had the beef short ribs with the mashed potatoes.
Started off with Happy Hour at the bar for an hour and took advantage of half price drinks and apps. Not your typical "bar bites" but legit food! Had someone check on us continually.
Once seated for dinner, specials were clearly explained. Wife had the grouper which was extremely fresh and garnished with sweet potato puree. I had the 12 oz fillet, cooked perfectly. Sidee order of spinach was nothing special, very plain.
Many upscale restaurants take too long in bringing entrees but III Forks is on point in having both brought together on very hot plates in under a half hour, perfect amount of time to finish the last drink from the bar. Asst Mgr cane by and took our bill and Groupon so we didn't have to wait for waiter.
We enjoyed the food very much. Our friends enjoyed their steaks and the hamburger was described as the best ever. The onion rings looked amazing and I will order them next time.
Our see was very good and I wish I could remember the name of the server- maybe Megan?
We will return.
This restaurant is priced like a higher end place most would like to eat at but measures up poorly. Jay Alexander’s in Palm Beach Gardens (right next door) or Charley’s in Central Florida has the quality of food expected for both the atmosphere & the money that III Forks falls short of. They served warm pretzel bread which was soft & warm, tasted good. We ordered onion rings for an appetizer, they tasted great but were served with just a side of ketchup! Is this Burger King!? I mean just about any other place has a delicious sauce like a chili sauce for example or other flavored sauces.
My wife asked the waitress for a recommendation for a sweet alcoholic drink out of their signature 10-12 drinks on their drink menu. She replied I don’t know, I haven’t tasted any. I then asked her “could you ask the bartender for a recommendation”? For the record we were seated in the same room as the bar. Then the waitress suddenly recommended a lemon drop, strawberry Martini and says it’s not on the menu. It was a good drink but how can you not know anything about your signature drinks??? Again you should know your signature drinks!
Dinner comes, marinated mushrooms, 6 cheese potatoes (which they didn’t say they were scalloped potatoes) and they brought our empty plates which were heated up to help keep the food/steak warm. Plates go down, no steak...... about two minutes later the steak comes out. We ordered the $120, 48 ounce porterhouse to split and take home leftovers. The temperature was good, the outside “crust” of the steak was very flavorful. However the inside and rest of the steak was very bland. Extremely disappointing. I also ordered “Oscar Style” on the side which is jumbo lump crab, asparagus, hollandaise. That didn’t come until after two reminders to the waitress. A higher end priced steak as this should taste very good as it comes. In this case, the Oscar Style made the steak have flavor. My wife asked for béarnaise sauce in order to enjoy her steak.
