The service was disappointing. John didn’t offer the type of service I’ve come to expect at all from III Forks or other like establishments. He was not helpful in explaining menu differences vs actual items. Turns out the menu was wrong on appetizer items included and the drink menu published was not accurate to the ingredients actually included in drinks. The bartender was awesome and talked us through it, but at the table John argued with me instead of letting me know the menu wasn’t fully correct. Really hit me wrong. Then he didn’t ask about the bill, he just placed it in the middle of the table and walked off. The manager didn’t check on our table and we had 8 people there.

I tipped 20% so as to not be rude, but I wrote 2 points of coaching for John on the receipt....don’t argue with clients, guide them. And find out who the boss at the table is and serve them. It will pay off for him if he follows my advice. I never tip only 20% and it was an $820 bill.

The staff were warm and welcoming. They went out of their way to make use feel welcome. Will definitely come back.

The restaurant is really showing its age and definitely needs an update. Lots of wood, awkward decor, and it smells old. Most of the food was ok, not great. One of our steaks was way over cooked. Service was good but not exceptional. For a $300+ meal (for 4 people) I expect a lot more. Doesn’t compare to Bob’s or Capital Grille. Won’t be back anytime soon.

It was fair to good. The service was a little slow. I had a fillet and it was a little tough. My wife had pasta and shrimp and the pasta was over-cooked slightly and the sauce was not very good.
It was not worth the price.

I remember the food being better compared to my visit before. The filet was ok but not memorable and my wife’s sea bass was over cooked. The ahi tuna had a poor presentation and old texture and taste. I’m glad we didn’t get sick. The floors definitely need to be re-done as my wife about bit it due to lack of finish and a lady sitting next to us went to the ER after falling.

Food, FANTASTIC - every bite! Everything was perfect. Waiter was stellar - Antonio!! Just such a great experience. I had out of town company and we were celebrating two birthdays - just a perfect place for the occasion. Would return again in a heart beat. Very strongly recommend this restaurant for special occasions. 5 stars all the way!

III Forks is always excellent. My wife and I have eaten here for years and love going back regularly. Their spin-off Silver Fox is a great option as well if you aren't close to this particular location.

Their namesake salad is a great choice after you have the Seafood Medley, then followed by either seafood or an amazing steak. You have to finish with desert, our favorite is to share a Bread Pudding.

The wine list is great with lots of options for every budget and every preference. The bar is a great place to sit and enjoy the people watching while you wait for your reservation time.

We were not impressed with this restaurant. We went there for date night. Multiple times I would sit there for 10+ minutes with no water to drink, there were children everywhere (I love children, I have two, but on date night I don't want to deal with other people's yelling children), there's was tacky pop radio music playing over the speaker system and the food was mediocre. For $150+ for a meal, I expected significantly more from this restaurant. I have no plans to ever go back.

Our server (Angela) was the best my wife and I had experienced in long time. Very polite, professional and timely. We will asked for her again, if she'll serve us again.

We had such a good time for a belated Valentine's dinner. The best part is we brought our 17 month old with us and the whole staff couldn't have been nicer to her in particular! Sitting on the "patio" was a refreshing change for a upscale steakhouse and I would do it again. P.S. GREAT happy hour prices on wine :)

III Forks is my favorite Dallas restaurant. They season the steaks just right and the service is usually good. This time however, you could tell the young server did not know her alcohol or drinks, and we had to keep repeating what we wanted. “I’d like a Canadian Club Old Fashioned.” “What??” Then I had to repeat a couple of times. Other guest said “Makers Mark Old Fashioned” and again she looked puzzled and asked him to repeat a couple of times because she didn’t know her drinks. Rather annoying for such a fine establishment. Usually though, the servers are really good.

The wait was well worth the experience. I surprised my wife by taking her to III Forks for Valentines Day. This has been on her bucket list for some time and I am please by the all around wonderful dinning experience that was given to my wife and myself.

Thank you and we will be back Soon!

My Husband and I, Along with sister and brother in law celebrated Valentine’s Day at the restaurant. Everything was nothing less than Excellent. We enjoyed every minute. The restaurant is fabulous. My husband is really picky but he had nothing but praise for our visit there. We will be returning.

I have been there many time in the past but not for a long time. It was shocking to see how ownership has allowed the facilities to deteriate. Old and tired is an accurate description. Sorry but not returning.

Food was great. Server was most polite and friendly. The only thing minus was the front reception. She was not professional. I was late 15 minutes but she told me my table was given out. I’ve to wait for 35 minutes it took my protest to be seated.

Wonderful place with great staff. Would like to see more french wine selections and pairing ideas with wines in regards to the apps and entree's.
Wine tasting and apps event or mixer would kick start the idea. 😉
