Great food and even better service!!
Fantastic service and delicious meal. Best of the best experience
I love this place! Classic old steak house feel with a modern tale on the food. You have to have the King’s butter!
She loves it!
Food and service were excellent and reasonably priced. There were steaks which were over priced, but other items which were reasonable. Wine prices were reasonable.. Three Forks called the next day to see if we enjoyed the meal.. That’s a first!.
As usual, 111 Forks did not disappoint. The cosmo was good & Thomas, out waiter was very personable & attentive. Will definitely go back whenever the opportunity arises.
My husband’s birthday dinner was absolutely wonderful. The food & ambience were the best!! The staff were so attentive; we wanted for nothing!! I would love to dine with you the next time I am in Austin!!
The food, the presentation, and the service were among the best. The only markdown was in ambiance because where we were seated was close to the bar, it was very loud, and hard to hear the person seated across the table from me.
Average food for Texas. Steaks were unimaginative and overpriced by 8-10 dollars each. The 12 dollar lobster bisque required a hunting expedition to find the lobster. Nothing special. Service was top notch but the food let the server down.
My husband and I are from Mississippi and we recently moved to Baytown, TX for business. We got a day off and decided to make the 3 hour drive to Austin and found this gem to celebrate my birthday. The entire experience at III Forks was pleasant through and through. The food was phenomenal; steak cooked to perfection and incredibly flavorful. They had a special for the night for crab leg appetizer and they were to die for! Our waitress was very personable and pleasant. They brought us a couple of tasty shots for the occasion. We will definitely be planning a trip back to Austin and will make it a point to stop off here!
We were the first table ever for our newly crowned fresh out of training server Robyn. She did GREAT! Very attentive, knowledgeable, and accommodating
The food was delicious, but rather uninteresting. I would call it good but basic fine dining. In today's Austin, where culinary creativity is prized, this restaurant seems a bit boring and dated. A place your grandparents would frequent.
We chose IIIForks for a large group reservation to celebrate my fiance's birthday! Dinner was wonderful and the service was even better. Can't brag enough about the overall experience. Reservations were easy to make and for a group our size we were placed in a private dining room which really made a difference as we can get be a little loud when all together!
Nice experience, good food and great staff
We order one the 'special' very expensive steaks ($145 for the ribeye) and were disappointed to find three large pieces of grisle in it. It was supposed to be a 'melt in your mouth' kind of experience, and it wasn't. I had the boneless ribeye a few weeks before and it was superb. The higher-end one was not really better at all, and certainly wasn't worth nearly three times the price. Great service. I wasn't crazy about where they put us - sharing a large room with a very large and rather loud party.
We celebrated an anniversary this past weekend, and III Forks came up in my search when looking for potential restaurants. I am very happy to have ended up choosing here. The service and food were amazing. It was a special day for us, and the experience was amazing. Would highly recommend.
Just feels wrong being stuck in back room - tables out front that were “full” remained empty when we left. I guess their regulars would see things differently, and I’m sure others enjoy the extreme quiet. 5 levels of managers did stop by to ask if everything was ok. Clunky experience.
My fiancé and I love coming here. Your entire staff never seems to disappoint. In fact, we are more impressed every time we visit the restaurant. Thanks so much for always making us feel appreciated!
Best regards,
DJ and Dorothy Janice
Steaks perfectly done; III Forks salad outstanding ; martinis excellent. Charlie orchestrated us through to make our theater time at Bass Hall. Couldn’t ask for more!
Fantastic!
My experience was great, first time going and I loved it.
This was my first visit to III Forks and while I thought the portions were a little light for the price, the food was very good and the service was even better.
I had the boneless ribeye with King's butter. It was quite simply one of the best steaks I've ever tasted.
Eric was a wonderful server... Food was perfect... Manager Brian welcomed us during the meal and everything was superb 👍
Very attentive and pleasant wait staff which made us feel they were only assigned to us. Never had to wait for water refills, additional wine, or to order our various courses. Hor d'oeuvres, main meal, and desserts all delivered in a relaxed but timely manner. Restaurant attempted to accommodate our special request for location of our table and even allowed viewing on the planned area of seating ahead of time to insure it met our needs. Pleasant, subdued lighting gives an intimate experience. Would recommend III Forks to anyone looking for an excellent, well presented meal delivered in an upscale atmosphere. Room quite loud when full but this was from conversation at the various tables not loud background music. Called us later to insure our visit was to our full satisfaction. Excellent food and a thoroughly enjoyable evening!
III Forks was a great experience with its classic decide to its great service and cuisine.
We flew through Austin on our way to New Orleans just to eat at III Forks. The food is amazing, that King Butter is so good I'd bathe in it. Our server was awesome. The manager stopped by our table to thank us for coming though town just to have dinner with them.
If I ever am in Austin again, this stop will be on my agenda.
Our waiter turned a meal into an event. Knowledgeable and friendly - without being intrusive - he steered us to several delightful dishes. Try the 10 oz bone-in filet if, as our waiter suggested, you are willing to have that set the filet standard for the rest of your life!
Three Forks is the perfect spot for enjoyable dining where the food is delicious - not pretentious - and the service among the best.
We were a large group so we had several servers on hand which were very helpful and attentive. They explained the menu and how the dishes were served. They did a great job checking in periodically to be sure that everything was to our liking. Everything was done to perfection. Thank you for a great dinner!
Very special occasions. The steaks are out of this world and so are the prices.
We're from NY and expected something special being in Texas and dining at a high priced steakhouse. Unfortunately the good NY steakhouses are as good if not better. I thought this was overpriced. The real issue was the service - or lack thereof. Very slow and little attention to us even though the restaurant was not crowded. I think it started when we only ordered glasses of wine rather than a bottle.
We had a reservation but were told to wait at the bar. Not only was the place not full, so we did not understand why we had to wait but once at the bar, we couldn't get served.
I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
We went to 111 forks for a 60th birthday celebration. Its very expensive and we found the food to be not a good value. Also nothing about the experience was extras special with regard to a birthday. At this price point I would expect the bread and food to be top of the line but I found it to be so so.The bread was hard and not even fresh tasting.
Great. Waiter was very fun
III Forks - Austin, Texas - I visited III Forks in Austin on Friday Night March 2, 2018. Took a 10 minute walk to III Forks, within walking distance from any Hotel in Downtown. We had 7:30 Reservations, arrived a little early and went to the Bar. We sat at the Bar listening to the great at live music, talking and had such a good time hanging out, did not ask to be seated until after 8:30. The Hostess was more than accommodating, even though we were over an hour past our Table Reservation.
We made it to our requested Booth and had the pleasure of being waited on by Mick! Mick is a older Irish Gent, that could not have been more pleasant, entertaining, funny and completely doted on us the entire evening. One of those rare Gems of Old Class Waiter's, that seem to have disappeared from the landscape. The experience alone with Mick , can make any Restaurant outing, an evening to remember.
I give the Restaurant Bar, with its live music, lively setting and old style steakhouse ambiance, a 9 on a scale of 1 to 10. I give the Restaurant a 9-1/2, with a quiet environment, giving you the ability to talk and the Food nearly impeccable. Not to mention that they let us stay until the lights were being turned out at 12:30AM.
I give our Irish Gent Mick, our amazing Waiter, a "20" on a scale of 1 to 10. If you ever want to have a truly fun, pleasurable, as well as unique Dining experience in Austin, you must visit III Forks and kindly ask that Mick be your Waiter.
Believe me, if you are fortunate enough to experience Mick as your Waiter, I promise that you will not be disappointed with your Dining experience!

Overall an excellent meal. Service was spot on. Bread outstanding, wedge salad very good, but star of meal was petite filet and lobster surf and turf. Also enjoyed the corn off the cob creamed corn.
Upscale dinning with remarkable service! Very friendly and attentive wait staff. Food was excellent!
Exceptional service and the food was great. King’s Butter on a filet is a must!
Filet was overcooked and dry. Wine was overpriced. My wife and I travel a great deal and usually seek out 4 or 5 star restaurants. This was neither. In my opinion not a value added experience. Overpriced for the quality of the food. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Probably won't go back.
This is the 2nd week in a row we went for happy hour. Excellent! We reserved a booth and had the pleasure of being served by the bartender Dennis. He is a very humble and nice guy. We enjoyed the dozen oysters for the unbelievable price of $1 each. This time we tried 3 different varieties. I really enjoyed the ahi app and the onion rings. My husband enjoyed the perfectly rare cooked burger and French fries. He also ordered the key lime pie to go. Next time he said another choice for dessert would be better. Great food, service, and ambiance. The next day the hostess called to follow up on our experience. Who does that any more? We are fans for life. Since we live downtown we plan to make this a weekly event. Please go and enjoy.
Our experience Saturday night at III Forks was amazing. The jazz band, the food and the overall service and attention were fantastic! The bartenders, Jeff and Jessica, introduced themselves and provided detailed drink information and were very friendly! Our waitress, Megan, was very good but could have introduced herself as could the other people who came by the table. This is the only suggestion that I have for improvement. Ernest, the manager, was extremely friendly and genuine. The band was super. Again, our dining experience was top notch and we will come back!
