I had a fantastic experience here! The staff made me feel very safe as they are social distancing all tables, requiring masks, only allowing 2 people on the elevator at a time, and asking guests to put their mask on when their server visits their table. I am perfectly fine with these extra measures as it personally makes me feel safer with indoor dining. The food and drinks were excellent and our server was extremely friendly and helpful. We got the fried pickles, uncle Kunkle’s queso, an atomic bowl, and a hoagie. All delicious! The restaurant still had their Christmas decor up and it made the rooftop look great. Overall I had a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back. Would highly recommend for a night out with friends or a date night as a spot you can feel comfortable dining indoors!
We had a great table on the roof but food was sub par. Cesar salad’s dressing had an overpowering fishy taste. Drinks were excellent. Fries were tasty
Great service and the atmosphere was perfect. Love the dim string lights and decor
Went out for drinks with friends after a busy work week; much needed and the service was great
We got a group together for a friends birthday, and we had the best time. The drinks were fantastic, and service was even better. Colby, the bartender was excellent. We ending up ordering a few apps for the table and it was just the right amount of food. In general our experience was great, and I’m glad we choose to go there. 10/10 would recommend to anyone
We had such an amazing experience. The food was amazing, the service was amazing, and the experience of going and taking the elevator up to the bar was amazing too! We will definitely be coming back.
Unique atmosphere and menu options. Closed in rooftop bar was still cool to see the city in the winter
The food was horrible. The meatballs were salty and tasted awful.
Hubby’s Birthday weekend. In town for the weekend and loved the food, atmosphere, and ambiance.
10/10 experience. Our server was amazing and cant wait to go back!
The meal was great. Definitely will return.
What a great venue and great service! The best place in Pittsburgh. We had dinner on the Rooftop Beer Garden and had some very tasty cocktails (the frozen spiced cider drink is amazing). We had the fried pickle appetizer with the dipping sauce and they were crispy and fresh. We also had the Buffalo Ball appetizer and we loved them. We had the Thanksgiving Meatball special which was great. We enjoyed the view on a beautiful fall night. I would recommend this place to everyone!
Excellent service, very safe, and the food was great!
Anywhere. We sat in middle and it was fine. Nice place
Food was good, service was good , nice atmosphere. The reason we went here was for the rooftop experience but they never had the roof open while we were there and it was very hot inside.
Pretty fun but then confusion when our original waiter must’ve gotten off the clock because he never returned after a while and we saw him change into street clothes. The wait staff were definitely annoyed and we could tell there was some tension. So it was just harder to flag down someone to put in another order of drinks and get the check
Attracts a young 20 to 30 yr. old clintele.Limited menu(covid).No charcuterie,which is what I hoped for.
So much fun! Had a good amount of drinks and shots, some apps and the $$ was not horrible. Good music and great service!!
Beautiful view. One of my favorite places downtown.
I love this rooftop bar! Such a great atmosphere with yummy food and drinks,
Really disappointed in this place. First, it looks gorgeous inside. Unfortunately, they sat us on their patio, out of the main dining area. This is behind glass that blocks the music and energy from the main dining area (also outside). Next, the service was not very good. We were greeted fairly promptly, before we could really even look at the menu, by our waiter. Then didn't see them again for about 15 min. During that time, we looked at the menu. What a disappointment! It is just meatballs and fries. That is it! They have lots of different types of meatballs, but no salads, no sandwiches, nothing! And the drink menu was just alright. We decided to leave, since you have to order food if you're going to drink in Pittsburgh now. Definitely not the experience we wanted!
After being seated we were told that we were on a 90 minute time limit for our table. If that is your policy put it on your Facebook page and open table. I don't go out to feel rushed.
Everything was great. The space has a really cool vibe - the best in Pittsburgh. The rooftop has a retractable roof with gas lanterns and beautiful wood communal tables. Industrial but warm. The drinks were so good and the service was spot on. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.
Always an amazing time! I was really excited to get Emporio food with the views and atmosphere of Il Tetto.
We were on a time limit and they didn’t tell us when we made the reservation, food came out completely wrong after I told my waitress I had an allergy and she recommended things that made me even more sick, the staff should have some idea of what’s gf/df/ etc! On a 90 minute time limit my food came out 75 minutes later!! Saw the waitress literally once the entire time, no water refills at all. Ordered a top shelf tequila shot 100% sure it was Josè quarvo. Waitress came over and said she hadnt seen us in 45 minutes Because she was crammed at 25% capacity.....Absolutely will not recommend this place
Lovely service. Great food.
Great meal , definitely return
Great survive and good food. Really neat with type of Building.
A very delicious charcuterie board and the pizza was delicious.
Our server, Ena, was simply put, outstanding. She helped us understand all the available options, was very understanding of our need to not have meat (Lent) and checked up with us during the meal without being "nosy". She was absolutely the strength of our dinner experience.
The charcuterie plate was nice but could have used less meat and more cheeses. Also should consider adding honey to the plate.
Enjoyed coming back to a favorite in the Burgh
This was my first time dinning at Mezzo and it was a GREAT experience! Brian our waiter was very kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and provided suggestions for the various allergy and dietary restrictions I have. The food was great, and I absolutely recommended to anyone!
Pizza was great, albeit a little pricey. The octopus in the small plate was very rubbery! The gnocci was pretty good and so was the polenta. Service was very good, so were the cocktails.
The service and food was very good. It was busy and they kept our meals moving a a awesome pace. Only criticism is that my husband ordered the cod and the serving size was way to small for the price point.
Went here for a birthday celebration and had a great time! I appreciated the Phony Negroni as an expectant mother. Always fun to have a mocktail option on the menu. Food was all fantastic. Service and ambiance were great.
Charcuterie was excellent
Fantastic food and very friendly service! I love the vibe of the room! I definitely recommend this restaurant!!
The service was really slow. The choices on the menu were kind of sad compared to their menu i saw online. It took forever to get a glass of wine, we already had the pizza before I got it. The Sausage and Pepperoni Pizza we decided on had literally 1-2 piece of sausage i think they forgot the Pepperoni, and 70% of the edges of the Pizza was "Burt" Black Crust. Overall it was not a good experience for us.
Good food on Valentine,s Day
Perhaps a difficult day and that’s why service was not very good
The best octopus ever
