Always great food and service.
This is a wonderful patio, very cozy! We only had drinks: the quality of the beer and wine is extremely high. Service was of the highest quality. Looking forward to returning.
Great food, greag service. We were placed directly on the street with no cover over our heads just the heater
When we asked for a diferent table there was none
Next time I will precise other side in the covered area and less street noise
A girlfriend and I had dinner on the patio at Eataly. It was fantastic! The food was outstanding and our server was helpful and lots of fun. For a cold November evening, we were warm enough with all the heaters to take our coats off. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Better experience than last time where our reservation git cancelled and no one called us
This time, Service was great, food was awesome, best aperol spritz in the city (not watered down at all) and yummy food
This place is wayyyyy too overpriced. And the food wasn't outstanding. I won't be coming back :(
ALWAYS AND ALWAYS: BRAVISSIMO!
QUESTION -- I'VE NOT RECEIVED MY POINTS FOR APPROXIMATELY
THE LAST 3 LUNCHEONS..?
MEGA THANX !
The service was a bit fast and I didn’t see my waiter much. The food was obviously amazing but the menu was limited which was disappointing having a gluten allergy - I didn’t have much to choose from. Also you couldn’t get order coffee at the patio only inside near the self serve patio. I believe I also mentioned it was a special occasion when booking and nothing was mentioned of that. Food was good but service was disappointing.
Great food, super delicious!!! Will definitely be going back
Great food. Friendly service. And loved going shopping at Eatlaly after our meal ! Bonus
Food came at different times. One guest’s meal didn’t arrive before others had finished. We cancelled it and staff couldn’t have cared less. Definitely will NOT go back.
Everything good. Table top a little small if you have more than 1 dish
Absolutely delicious! Line us were long but well worth it.
Delicious Italian cuisine at a decent price point compared to other Italian eateries.
Our reservation was cancelled and we were never notified
We weren’t notified by either OpenTable or Eataly! We were told on the spot that the patio was closed and that they have called everyone... but us!
I wonder why OpenTable or Eataly allowed to do reservations when the patio was closed.
Doesn’t have Eataly have to do something in the OpenTable platform to indicate that they’re not taking online reservations? Why they allow me to continue?
Why Am I getting this survey since I couldn’t eat at Eataly??
Great service and nice setting
Great food and wine selection
I would give everything 5 stars if I could. Eataly has done an amazing job dealing with COVID and creating a wonderful
Outdoor dining space. Some things are not in their control
Like traffic noise and pigeons. But I have to say it made our Saturday lunch experience fun and different. Way to go Eataly !
And - I had the best PASTA. Oh my gosh was it delicious. BUCATINI CON PESTO TRAPANESE👍👍👍
Amazing pizza and perfect size for one person. Loved the outdoor set up. They had lots of heaters which kept us warm while sitting outside. Staff were very nice and accommodating. I would go back for sure.
great! Had heaters on the patio, quick service.
Had drinks on the patio and the heat lamps were right above us so it didn’t feel cold even though it was about 8C.
If I could give this a 0 rating I would. This is the second time I have had horrendous service on this patio. When we arrived we realized that we were seated at a high top table. I kindly advised that my mom (who was visibly struggling and walking with a cane) cannot sit on the high top due to physical limitations and this should have been indicated when the reservation were made Many establishments clearly inform the patron whether reservations are for a high top or standard seating; therefore, I did not have an unreasonable expectation. Had I known this seating was the only option I would have opted not to make it. The gentleman, PHILLIP, who directed us to the table was RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE. His response three times was “ok” with a smirk and the most dismissive tone. Zero effort or desire to help us. No apology, no desire to even look into changing tables etc. I told him that the last time I came with the same number of people we were able to sit at a standard table. His response “OK”. Clearly, no care. Now more than ever is a time to be kind to patrons and encourage them to return and support the restaurant industry. I myself am a front line worker and there is no excuse to treat your patrons in this way as we are all under undue stress in the industries we work in. I’m disgusted that your institution would treat people with disabilities in this way. I’m actually APPALLED. The weather is getting much colder and I purposely inquired as to wether the patio was covered and heated, which I was told it would be. We were seated next to a lamp that didn’t work, we had to ask for it to be turned on, that took about 20 min in the cold, then it shut off as it ran out of propane. We then had to bring it to the staff’s attention again, took another 15 min to fix and it shut off again. These are the details of your patio that should be taken care of regularly and swiftly considering that outdoor dining is the only space to dine.
We appreciate all the effort that is being put into continuing to operate despite the need to address the Corona Virus-related concerns. The food was excellent and everyone working was upbeat and upbeat. But eating lunch outside at the end of October for $100 isn’t ideal.
AMAZING FOOD AMAZING SERVICE AMAZING WINE
The pasta was not cooked to my preference, too al dente. I asked for a box to take home and they brought the bill right after. We didn’t even finish our drinks....
Even there was a line at the entrance, each session is supposed to be one and half hour. We only stayed for 45 mins.. I had lunch there the first time on Bloor side in July, it was a fun experience. This time on Bay side was very disappointing. I will not go back.
Excellent food and service! Great to be outside and enjoy!
Grateful to have had the patio option on an unusually warm October afternoon...during COVID wave 2.
My pizza al padellino (melanzane) was delicious as usual. However, can’t say that I really enjoyed the spiedini di calamari. While it was nicely grilled in terms of tenderness, the taste was definitely off (leaving me to question the freshness). And at the 15.00 price point, the portion leaves it feeling very inflated.
We've eaten at Eataly indoors and thought we'd try the patio since COVID has eliminated indoor dining for the foreseeable future. We were not disappointed as the food quality was just as good and the patio felt safe and socially distanced. The weather on Friday was glorious and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Hoping for another visit before the snow flies! Hang in there, Eataly - we would hate to lose you!
Despite everything, Il Patio manages to deliver atmosphere, great food and excellent (and safe) service. A wonderful break from the gloomy atmosphere of these days, a little step into playful Italian sophistication.
The server was brilliant and had great knowledge about the drinks! Food was amazing also.
Celebrating a special occasion, they greeted up with a glass of complimentary Prosecco
Food was excellent, as was the service. Love the ambience. With the new tent, it feels more cozy as you don't notice the traffic on Bay street. Service was fast and efficient. Looking forward to my next visit.
A quaint alternative for enjoying a tipple and a light snack/meal. Service was very attentive.
While everyone is doing their best to accommodate diners outside as the weather gets colder, it was simply unpleasant and too windy to enjoy lingering over lunch. The cold wind down Bay Street coupled with the metal chairs resulted in quite a chill afterwards. I am sure it would be quite different during warmer weather. Food was good overall - especially the Fried Zucca.
Il Patio is working hard to stay open...several steps ahead of Covid-19. There are patio heaters, good distancing between tables, substantial dividers creating intimate dining spaces, and patio umbrellas. The staff are superb: friendly and knowledgeable on proper protecol during these challenging times. The patio menus have something for everyone. We've eaten here repeatedly during the last 6 weeks and intend to continue as long as the patio can remain open.
Food was quick to come out
Friendly staff and very efficient. Mains were amazing. Ordered each of the skewers but the seafood ones weren’t that warm. But the chicken skewer was nice.
Patio seating was very nice. The heat lamps and “greenery” dividers were perfect for separating our table from others and sitting outside on a beautiful fall day.
Erika our server was very friendly and explained the process clearly.
Would definitely go again.
The food was delicious. The service was excellent
Would definitely recommend this restaurant
Lovely atmosphere outside! Service was fast and food was tasty.
Everything was good, but when we finished our dish, immediately a girl offered to us desert... we said no, thanks and just one second after the same girl gave me the bill... I had not requested it... it was a bad detail...
