Ignite Kitchen + Cocktails Ratings and Reviews
We were told there were no tables for our group and we could take one area but would have to be done in an hour for the next reservation. So we didn't. We stayed 3 hours and watched the tables sit empty. Right before we left a few people trickled into that reservation. But it wasn't the time or numbers they had told us. We easily could have sat in multiple places that remained empty all evening long. It was very strange and so we sat on couches with small low tables and ordered a lot of drinks and food -while tables sat empty next to us. They just didn't have the right people making decisions about seating. Food was great. Drinks were well made. Staff was friendly.
What a great bday dinner I had. The first time there. The food was great, the service was outstanding and the entire vibe was positive, warm and friendly. Hard to always find that in Denver so we will for sure be back and tell lot's of people how great it is. Thank you!
Everything was amazing. The food was prepared exceptionally, seasoned perfectly, and was delivered at a leisurely pace. The drinks were just as good, not overly pretentious - simple and delicious.
It was great to be able to enjoy our appetizers and drinks while enjoying the view and company, without feeling like we were being rushed out of there.
It was our first time at Ignite, but it will not be our last.
We went to Ignite for a pre-baseball game dinner. It was raining and looking like the game would be delayed or canceled. They let us stay as long as we wanted waiting to see about the game's outlook. The service was wonderful from making the reservations to them saying goodbye to us. The staff there couldn't be nicer. The food was fun, tasty and wonderful. We will keep going back as long as this kind of service keeps up at Ignite.
It was just ok. The food was overpriced for what we received. It wasn't very busy in the restaurant and we waited thirty minutes for our food. I had a margarita that tasted way too sweet, I like some liquor with my lime juice. My niece got a sangria that didn't have any fruit or garnish. We had to ask for a drink menu because they didn't leave one at our table. Not impressed.
Service was fantastic. Laura was our server and she was very knowledgeable about the menu. Food and drinks were also fantastic. We had deviled eggs, awesome; I had the truffle burger with a veggie burger substitute and OMG... so good! Only downside was my boyfriend's burger came out raw. He had ordered it med well, and it was still a little pink after being redone. Management was very nice/apologetic and didn't charge for the burger. Not a big enough deal to prevent me from coming back (unless it happens constantly) and still thoroughly impressed with the rest of the experience.
It was not busy at all for a Saturday night but seemed very hard to get service. When we ordered the server just charged us double for an entree we said we would be splitting and the food wasn't the greatest. We had eaten there before but the food wasn't what it used to be
I have been to ignite before and always have typically had a good experience. This was fine, but a little bit disappointing. I asked about the burger of the month, which our waiter described as a meatloaf burger with mashed potatoes, crispy onion straws, and BBQ sauce. It was enticing so I decided to order it and give it shot. The burger came out was almost completely different than described. It was a double patty with cheese, red onions, and BBQ sauce. I was very disappointed and so I asked the waiter if I got the right thing. He went to the kitchen and found out that they ran out of mashed potatoes. It still doesn't explain the double patty and regular onions instead of the crispy onion straws. I also would have preferred that he came and asked if I wanted it without the potatoes or if I wanted to change my order (I would have changed my order). Any way, he ended up taking my burger off of our bill, which was very nice. I was still pretty disappointed in my meal, but I will likely go back again (mainly because I have a coupon...).
We were seated upstairs and outside. It was a beautiful albeit chilly evening, but our server was awesome. It was my birthday and I tried Man Candy for the first time. The sliders were awesome, beer was excellent, brussel sprouts were amazing. The Man Candy is...oh the humanity!!! Bacon slathered in a sweet glaze and hint of spicy. Man Candy, go and get the Man Candy. Our server was so cool he brought me some extra Man Candy. Did I mention the Man Candy?
We have been going to Ignite for years. It used to be great service, good food, and we could get in and out in a reasonable amount of time. The past few times we've noticed a major decline in service. Our last visit was the worst with a clueless waiter who took forever and screwed up our check. It took much too long to remedy the situation and then the check was wrong again. We were also left waiting in the lobby for 20+ minutes despite having a reservation and the restaurant was only half full. We will not be returning. There are too many better options nearby with better food and service for us to continue to be patrons at Ignite.
It was ALMOST perfect! The appetizers were to die for! We ordered the jalapeño deviled eggs, Man Candy (sweet and sour bacon), and brussel sprouts. The eggs and brussel sprouts were ridiculously good! The bacon was okay, believe it or not! It wasn't bad, just nothing spectacular...it was a bit, gooey?
Anyway, I ordered a wedge salad and my son ordered the Hangover Burger. My salad was soggy. There was a lot of water in the bottom of the dish and the water that had drained from the lettuce kept the dressing from sticking to it :( My son is a burger junkie...a burger snob, you might say. He said it was "okay" but his fried eggs was a spread out hard boiled egg. It had been so over cooked that the yolk was exactly like a hard boiled egg yolk.
I wish I could remember our servers name because she was simply amazing. Very attentive without making you feel like she was lurking or hovering.
They just need to gear up for it better. (no saltines, no tabasco, need for fresh horseradish, oyster forks and plenty of lemons). The original waitstaff that sat us was great but we were handed off to another waitress after our drink order and she was a little slow and inattentive and the place wasnt very busy at all. Im sure it will get better as it was the first night. However just to be sure, we will bring our own saltines and tabasco the next time. The oysters were fresh and great tasting. We were here for Thanksgiving and it was great!
We went to this restaurant before prom this year because our original restaurant couldn't get is a table for 2 new people in our group; one of the best strokes of luck of planning the whole night. We pull up to Ignite, and already it was something was going to be good. The food was outstanding. The trifles fries were covered in the scent of white truffle that makes you go to heaven. We all got the Smore's sundae for desert. It is so delicious with the ice cream and the warm brownie, and it is fun to pluck off the marshmellows one by one. Be aware that the desert is huge, so you may want to split it with someone. The service wasn't perfect (they gave one of the sundaes to another table by accident), but we didn't care because it was great ambiance and we needed a little time to digest our dinner anyways. Absolutely a great restaurant in Denver. Will definitely be back!
We went there for a group date and the decor was pretty cool. The host talked to us then walked to the kitchen never to return then the same guy delivered my wifes gluten free burger stating that it was when it clearly wasn't. The waitress caught it and fixed it. the food was good but not outstanding for the cost.
I LOVE ignite! If I'm ever craving a burger, this is my go to place. My fiancé and I frequent here for their 'Man Candy', burgers, beer, and dessert. The rooftop patio seating is the best place to sit on a beautiful summer evening. I recommend this place to everyone!
