   While the igloo was cool and the drinks good, the food and service were terrible. We found all the snacks overly salted and the desserts very mediocre. We had to clear the table and ask the server to take the empty dishes and glasses to make room for the delivered food. No one ever refilled our water glasses either. Server seemed focused on padding the bill. With a minimum spend for the igloo, ocean edge should dramatically up their food game. Won’t return.

   The ambience is beautiful and fun! The staff was above and beyond, friendly and attentive. The food presentation was very good, but the variety in the menu we found lacking. The selection is a bit eclectic. A lighter, more traditional choice (sushi, mini quiche, pizza samples, scallop/bacon) might be welcomed.

   Really enjoyed it. We went with the "Luxury Experience". I highly recommend as this has much nicer upscale igloos that are generally warmer. We had a minor issue with a fan on ours that was powered off but making a lot of noise from the wind. They fixed it promptly. Heaters are barely adequate and I was a bit cold. So dress for it particularly if it's cold out. Really lovely ambiance and I considered it worth the price for sure. Our server was really good. You get 1.5 hours which sound's like a lot but really isn't by the time you get seated, place your order, get served and get comfortable. A full 2 hours would have been better. I would do it again. The luxury size is perfect for 2 couples. Three couples might be tight depending on the size of the people but would still work. We just had it to ourselves. Our mission was intimate romance. And that, it was. Again the only complaint is that at 1.5 hours you ended up spending too much time worrying about time. To make the experience better I would suggest you review the menus in advance and place your initial food and drink order immediately on entry. I hope this helps.

   This was a truly disappointing experience. We reserved an igloo months ago. Showed up on time, waited about 10 minutes to be brought to the igloo only to find out the twinkle lights didn’t work so we would have no lighting. There were 2 small table top heaters which blew the fuse 3 times. We finally had to just unplug one so we wouldn’t continue to lose power. They wouldn’t change us to another igloo. It was very windy (not their fault) but the igloo was not tied down tightly and at one point the back of it blew open. Food came luke warm and the chips had blown away before the server got to our igloo. She said she would be back with them. She never came back. We had to flag down another worker and ask for new chips and dip as the dip was now cold as ice. The waiter was very nice but he was so busy serving all the igloos it was hard to get his attention. We only lasted an hour as it wasn’t worth sitting around for poor quality food and slow service. I would never do this again.

   This was such a treat! The igloos were such a fun and unique way to celebrate a family birthday. The staff at Ocean Edge was welcoming and so accommodating. We appreciated the kindness our server showed to the little ones in our group. We can’t wait to come back again!

   The igloos were a wonderful experience, however, it would have been far more comfortable and we would have stayed longer for more drinks if there were a bigger heater or two heaters. We were shivering with all the layers on! Leo was wonderful and food was great, it was just too hard to relax and enjoy when we were shivering.

   Our server Gus was amazing, so friendly and spot on with his recommendations. The igloo experience is just great. We are repeat date nighters to this fabulous fun way to dine. We experienced the Harry Potter Wizadry menu and the food was amazing, everything from homemade potato chips to the giant turkey legs. The smoked port flatbread and Mrs Weasleys sprouts…not os all we can say. So so good…

    Done the igloos many times and the food was not good this time. Waiter was gd but he was obviously working many igloos and we had to wait a lot longer then normal. Not impressed this time. Tacos. Horrible no flavor. No sauce.

    This was our third time having the igloo experience since they started the igloos in 2020. It was nice to see that there were a few updated igloos. The service was excellent. The food was quite good with just one item that came out sub par but overall good. The drinks and the atmosphere are fun! It is the experience that you are overpaying for. The only complaint is that the igloos are SOO cold inside. The little heater they have in them did not at all provide any heat. Our hands and noses were chilled. This is the same complaint since 2020. They need better heaters! Definitely dress warmly.

    We were in the older model of the igloos. It wasn’t strapped down at the bottom and the cold air was blowing in. There was a small cube heater (4inches by 4inches) to heat all people but it wasn’t nearly enough unfortunately. We were pretty cold. Apparently for the more enclosed newer models you would have to request those. Also when ordering the warmer drinks, they arrived cold. No microwave on site so couldn’t warm it up. Overall the idea was really cool and waitstaff was excellent. Just was hard to enjoy with it being so cold. Also would be nice to have some sort of background music as there wasn’t any.

    This was our third visit and the first one this season. Sadly compared to our first two times, this time it just wasn’t as enjoyable. The Raw Bar appetizer came with a small lobster tail in its shell and was difficult to eat. The oysters were okay. The clam chowder was very delicious but quite a small portion. We also ordered the crab dip which was forgettable. The deserts were quite large and filled us up, however please bring back the S’mores desert from last year. We enjoyed the drinks although the Jack Frost was also different from last year. Overall a bit disappointing given our prior experience.

    The menu needs work. There need to be more selections. The new igloos are great. The one we were in did not have a table-coffee cubes were provided. We noticed that some igloos had tables which would be an improvement. Having said the above the IGLOOS ARE GREAT. Keep it up.

    tldr: fun option for 4-6 people (not for 2), but be sure to request the nicer igloo. Drinks are ok, not really worth the premium price ($15-20 each). Food is good, but definitely not better than what we had at the pub downstairs. We were excited to see this fun option after booking a stay on the resort's property. We checked out the pictures and it looked like a fun way to spend the evening. Booking it, I noted the $150 minimum charge and thought it was steep for 2 people, but thought, that's fine, we'll make a night of it. That's really where our patience ended. When we arrived, there was confusion about which igloo we were assigned. The one we were in featured a large table with regular chairs, no blankets (nothing like what was pictured). There was a small electric heater on 1 side and water dripping (it was raining) on the chairs across from us. We were offered blankets. However, we looked across from us and that igloo was completely different. It was taller, sealed, had a real door, couch/comfortable seating, etc. It was also smaller...like for 2-4 people rather than the one we were in for I think 6. The service was good, though we felt bad because essentially there were 2 of them trying to serve at least 4-6 igloos at a time (& having to unzip & zip our igloo each time). The drinks tasted watered down & at $15-20 a piece, that's tough. The food was good, but there are really only snack options (likely related to the time limit of 90min). In the end, not worth the price we paid.

    The revised menu has lots of interesting and delicious choices, the service from Jeff, Caroline and bartender (Kelly?) was excellent, and the new igloos were beautiful, even on a cold rainy night. The ribs, barbacoa tacos, crab dip, homemade chips, charcuterie board, s’mores cookies for dessert were all delicious, as were the drinks. The mulled hot cider was a perfect way to end the meal. We’ll be back!

    I would recommend the Igloo experience, however, not on a Holiday. I went on New Years Day. The food was not fresh nor did it look inviting, it looked like leftovers from New Years Eve the night prior. Food was sent back. The staff was very nice, but not up to par, as the worked the party the night before. It just was not “The Ocean Edge”,

    We enjoyed the igloo, although it was chilly. We requested a new solid igloo but was told it wasn’t available. The new solid igloos should be much warmer. Food was good and wine was ice cold. We will return but will request one of the new solid igloos with couch type seating, as we had a table setting and we prefer the couch setting.

    We were surprised at how cold it was in the igloo. The heaters are too small. It was so cold we couldn’t enjoy it. We also thought there were fire pits inside. Ours had a large round table. It was disappointing.

    Terrible. Holes/tears in the igloo. Heater the size of an alarm clock. Menu extremely limited for igloo experience. Drinks were overpriced. Don’t waste your time.

    We had a snafu and had to bring our one year old who was a bit grumpy. Our waiter was awesome - took it all in stride and helped make us comfy in the igloo. It was my daughter’s birthday and he made sure to make it special for her with champagne and dessert.

    On a vacation weekend with the family staying at the resort. The igloo experience was part of a package. Igloos are fun and feel like a very upscale experience. Service was superb. Drinks were great. Food was pretty bad. The menu looked amazing but didn’t deliver on taste. We ordered many items so had a good overall sample of what was offered. For a four diamond resort, food was so disappointing. Not sure if it is a sourcing issue due to the pandemic or what.

    Very pricey with a 90 minute limit in the igloo, they served a round of drinks and we didn't see them again for 60 minutes. It wasn't relaxing or enjoyable, particularly as we were hoping to get something to eat.

    This isn’t your typical bar food. Raw platter is a must for seafood lovers. Rack of lamb ridiculously good. Igloo idea is great and well thought out.

    The igloos are very nice, capable of holding medium sized groups. Dress warmly, though if the weather is cool. They do provide blankets. Food was excellent.

    Our family loved the igloos. Beautiful view and almost like sitting outside. Service was awesome and very friendly. Not lots of good choices but it was yummy. And wine list was good and not overly priced. We will go back!
