   Our igloo experience was excellent. Food was delicious. The atmosphere and view made it perfect. The bonus was that they don't charge a rental fee for the igloo!

   Every plate the 4 of us enjoyed was perfect. The menu isn't very big this time of year, but there's plenty of options and something for everyone. The chef is creative and the pairings were magnificent. Dinner in the Igloo was both fun and intimate. Bravo!!!!

   Disappointing food. Service was good enough, setting is amazing. Plain and overpriced food. This place has certainly taken a downturn since it is changed ownership.

   Went for a date with my wife. Our igloo was on the deck against the outside of the building with another igloo between us and the “view” and another directly to our side. It was 37° that night and we thought we dressed accordingly for a heated igloo. The temperature inside was very uncomfortable. We certainly did not expect it to be 68° in there but it was far from that. There were two small mismatched electric heaters in one spot on the floor which only made it slightly warmer than outside. The waitress was extremely short with us and would run in and out with urgency. As she came in and out she continually left the zipped door only half zipped. I had to get up 3 times to close it in an attempt to keep in any warmth we could. The menu is very limited but we managed to find things we liked. The food came out in a reasonable time and was typical of a restaurant of this caliber in Newport. My steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were plenty big enough to split between the two of us and some. I had brought in a Crown in coke that I bought from the bar before our reservation. It was made very well. I asked the waitress for another one. I had to repeat “Crown and coke” three times to her until she understood and repeated it back. She then brought me a coke with a splash of captain. The reservation lasts two hours long. After an our both of our toes were numb and we couldn’t wait to get back to our car for heat. Overall I was very disappointed for a minimum of $160.00 and an automatic 30% tip. I would have much rather gone to a run of the mill fancy restaurant. I would go back to the restaurant but never opt for an igloo again. If you decide to try it out, bundle up!

   Ambiance, service, food and drink were all amazing!!! We went for Valentine’s Day and had an igloo reserved for ourselves. It was open and ready for us when we arrived, so there was no wait. The food was both delicious and the presentations was beautiful. The pricing was on the high side, the pre fixe menu was set at $85/person, which was a shareable app, shareable meal and dessert, no drinks included. Dinner was just under $300 for 2 of us but was worth it for a special occasion. We will be back!

   Valentines weekend getaway. 150.00 min required and we did that that with 1 drink, 2 apps, 2 entrees. & 1 dessert. 160.OO total tip with tip that was automatically included on bill. Was a unique private experience. Toasty warm on a cold evening .

    Eating in the igloo was so great - the food and the service was amazing! Best Lunch we've ever had! It was about 45 degrees out but they had it heated and I had coat of and was actually too warm! Would go in a heartbeat but it's hard to get a reservation but we will be back!

    The service and atmosphere was excellent. Highly recommend the experience. The duck poutine fries were a very hearty portion. Tuna appetizer was very good and of course NE chowder delish.

    Wow! Wonderful experience! Steak came out sizzling hot, seasoned , and on time. Calamari was the best I’ve ever had. And the Jamaican waitress Nordia was kind and friendly!

    We arrived at the Igloos at Newport Harbor Resort and a wonderful manager directed us to the restaurant. After waiting 10 min a member of the team greeted us and showed us to our igloo. We were the ONLY people in the restaurant and igloo and she sat us right by the door. No view available from that location. The igloo was great!!! Cozy and warm. The menu was so limited that we decided to leave and look for someplace else. We had all tried to find the menu online because we were looking for seafood options, and never found the menu. The concept looks great - the execution not so much.

    Booked the igloo one month out along with a three night stay at the hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel were told that due to temperatures the igloos would be closed for that evening, less than 4 hours prior to our dinner reservation. This made it impossible to make reservations elsewhere. When asked if we could be moved to another night, we were told they would try but it would be unlikely as they also “lost” three igloos. Ended up eating in the hotel restaurant. Food was lukewarm, meat was over cooked and when asked for any mocktails was told “we have juice”. Extremely disappointed in the hospitality and their lack of attempt to rectify the situation, especially for guests of the hotel. Would not recommend.

    This was an excellent spot for a special occasion dinner out! Fantastic service, excellent food, spectacular view and the igloo provided a very quiet and peaceful experience which was a lovely departure from restaurants which tend to be loud. 100% recommend!

    What a fantastic time we had at the igloos! It was cozy and warm inside, and we loved how private it felt. Our server, Harrison, was attentive and friendly. The festive cocktails were delicious, I definitely recommend the Rum and Cocoa! For a fun winters night out in Newport, absolutely make a reservation for an igloo at the Newport Harbor Island Resort!

    We had a great time. I had booked this last winter and due to the weather we had to cancel. So we finally got to enjoy it. The food was pretty good but we felt that the prices were a bit high. We appreciated that they circled that they added in a 20% tip. We would definitely come back—it’s just something we reserve for special occasions.

    Visited Newport in early December and wanted a different experience and this by far did not disappoint. It was perfect!! A bit confusing to find at first, but once we found it everything was great. You are outside in the elements and think maybe it will be cold inside but once inside it’s very cozy and inviting. We had lunch reservations and there were many options to pick from. We started with a bottle of Prosecco. We had an amazing pear salad and Brussels sprouts shared the short rib rigatoni that was very good. Great ambiance and very attentive service. A must try during winter season

    We were excited to dine in an igloo. Obviously we chose daytime as the minimum required was $75. We were the only table at the restaurant . It was a bit slow with the waitress . We enjoyed the appetizers and food but felt sort of neglected as we were having to prompt the waitress . Overall good experience .

    Didn’t know what to expect under new management - there was no menu online and I had called asking where to find it and was told, “it’s the same as always”. It was my first time there so had no idea what I was walking in to - and was pleasantly surprised! The menu had several types of options and the salmon was grilled to perfection. Our steaks were swapped with one another (one medium, one medium rare) but we made it work. May come back again but not overly eager

    Igloos we’re a nice experience, but it was super unorganized. Maybe because it was their first night restarting them for the season, but the address was listed wrong so we went to different hotel. The owners were very accommodating and night is a round of drinks to make up for it but service was slow, we sat without water for 20 minutes and debated leaving a few times. They weren’t quick to get other rounds or check up. We only ended up having 2 rounds because of it. Also people should be aware that it is full dining tables in the igloo, not comfy chairs and a coffee table like they had been in the past.
