   Had 2 great meals here in a row. Good wine selection, and both times everyone enjoyed their dinners. Friendly service. Hidden gem in the Falls Church area.

   The food was excellent. We had the filet mignon and frites, the veal picatta with mixed vegetables and mashed potatoes, and the seafood linguine. All of them were delicious, the steak tender and cooked perfectly to order, the meal also tender and a large portion, and the seafood linguine was loaded with seafood! The desserts are all homemade and although delicious and a good size, they were cotton heavy after a big meal. They have an extensive wine list and a full bar. All of this in a modest venue with a casual atmosphere. A neighborhood gem!

   Restaurant was very busy, and it seemed like the kitchen was overwhelmed. Appetizers took forever to come out. Menu had something for everyone and most of it was outstanding (except the filet mignon). Price was reasonable for the quality. Atmosphere was festive.

Mother's Day weekend was definitely busy and we apologize if the food took a little longer than usual. We prepare everything from scratch, down to the sauces we pair with our food.    Excellent all the way around from appetizers to dessert. Server was awesome. Food came out exactly as ordered. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to eat.

   Another wonderful visit to Idylwood Grill. The staff, the food and the ambiance are always great. We had a friend that was visiting from out of town and he wanted to try out a local restaurant. He absolutely loved it. We highly recommend that when you have visitors wanting to get away from the chain restaurants, the downtown traffic and the noisy places, take them Idylwood Grill. They won't be disappointed.

   On a visit to the Tysons Corner area, we chose to have dinner at Idylwood Grill and I'm so glad we did! It was easy to get to from the hotel where we stayed at Tysons (didn't have to sit in Beltway traffic), but more importantly, the food was wonderful! From the Mussels Mariniere appetizer, to the Seafood Linguini, to the Stroganoff (which was a special when we visited), everything was so delicious!! We had a piece of German Chocolate cake for dessert, which was made on site. There were several other items on the menu that we would have liked to try, so we'll just have to go back next time we're in Virginia!

   For well over 15 years we have always been pleased with a meal at Idylwood Grill. The entrees, in particular, are first-rate with the sauces always being the star element. Whether chicken piccata, duck breast with mushroom risotto or the filet mignon au poivre, the meals are fabulous. We highly recommend Idylwood Grill as a place for a very special meal.

   Another home run! The food is consistently outstanding (even on a Tuesday), wonderful service, extraordinarily polite. We're going back for Mother's Day. Too bad I don't live closer.
