We had an amazing evening at I.d.! We loved our food, the service was amazing, and their veranda is the perfect outdoor dining spot! We will definitely be back :)

Food was great as usual, but Covid-19 dining will take some getting used to and the service was very disjointed. Not the usual experience at this restaurant. Coffee was served without sugar or cream, or the offer of either. When asked for both, only sugar came. Had to ask again for cream. No salt and pepper was brought. Totally understand why salt and pepper shakers aren't on the table, but offer an alternative. Maybe bring packets or have wait staff grind some on to your food. Water glasses were brought with water in them, but no refills. We noticed other tables were given a bottle of water so you could refill your own glass. We had to ask for one. Last, multiple wait staff visited our table to deliver our food, sugar, creamer, water, drinks, and to clear. We had visits from at least 5 people. Maybe cutting that down to 2 would be prudent with covid-19, especially since wait staff at this restaurant wasn't wearing masks.

Amazing experience—service was wonderful and all of the drinks/food came out perfect. We were out on the patio for Father’s Day and had the best experience: our table had bloody Mary’s, meet me in the garden cocktail, truffle fries, chopped Reuben sando, a la carte items, and the fried chicken & biscuits. Only feedback is wishing they had brunch on more than just Sunday! :-)

The brunch on Father's Day was very good. We shared a great meal with our immediate family and it was perfect!

Wonderful experience again. They honored our reservation even though we were early. Sat us at the table we request on the outdoor screened in patio. Immediate service and respectful of our distancing. I.D. has their processes down to make anyone feel comfortable. Food selection, as always was different, explained well and well described. Every plate we had was outstanding. Add a wonderful ambiance and very well priced wine list with well thought out selections, the evening was perfect.

We just sold our 2nd home and celebrated that we are now full time cheese heads!

Food and service was very good. Unfortunately the dining room chairs were so uncomfortable it negatively affected the entire dining experience. Please get some better chairs!

In general, the price for the meals was a bit higher that I would have expected, but I also understand the food industry continues to financially suffer through the aftermath of COVID-19. The plates were fantastic!

My favorite Restaurant in the area. Chef Joe Hepe does magic with food, it is amazing. The place is so beautiful. People, there is so nice. Very recommendable

I was so thankful for the perfect welcome back to foodie life. This was my first attempt back out-of-takeout and was instantly reminded at why I enjoy discovering new places to eat, drink, and soak in summer. It was pretty standard to be seated from the host stand, our fantastic waitress Erin was very laid back and made some good drink suggestions. After attempting to create cocktails at home for the last 3 months, their cocktails surprised me at how much better a proper bartender can create an awesome drink. The take on a Sazerac was a fun spin on the traditional with the Lillet Blanc filling out the flavor nicely. Their menu was deceptively simple, but the dishes we had were really well executed. They had a fun take on a Caesar, and the whole anchovy fillet scared us at first, but must not have been cured as it balanced really well with a house dressing. It paired pretty well with the truffle fries and house aioli. The scallops were by far our favorite of the night, never experiencing such a great depth of flavor on a seared scallop before while also being perfectly cooked. We finished with the charcuterie flat bread and it turned out exactly how I would hope where the peppers, sausage, and cheeses were all present and balanced. Food came out quick and was always delivered by someone with a mask (which I was impressed by). All of our entrees did come out pretty close together, but to be fair, this was the first weekend the kitchen was open in months, so I can't be too hard on that. If I can get another couple to brave the world outside of their home, this would easily be the top of my list of new-to-me restaurants.

This was our first time eating out since the pandemic started and I.d. did a great job. Even with additional social distancing guidelines in place, it still felt welcoming and comfortable. The food was great. We enjoyed all the dishes we had and the desserts were excellent.

I.d. has done a great job adjusting to COVID. It was so nice to get back to dining here!

The food was amazing and the small plate portions were perfect to be able to sample multiple dishes. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Specialty drinks from the bar were also outstanding.

The server seemed really preoccupied with other tables and didn’t come back to check on us. We had to flag him down to get water.

Good spacing for distancing. Wish the servers were wearing masks! Food was good.

A lively evening when we arrived. The noise levels a bit higher than we remember. Wonderful service. Excellent specials, especially the salad offering. All servings were outstanding. Delightful dessert and we love the French press coffee option. They have have improved wine list and service. Wonderful evening.

Everything was very, very good. The reason I gave the noise level a 4, there was a wedding party in house, and a small group playing music.
The food is pricey, but extremely tasty.

We have been here multiple times and I have never had a bad meal, bad service or bad anything. It is amazing all around. I could sit for hours and sip on wine as the kitchen sends out the small plates in the oh so perfect cadence

Outstanding meal. Service excellent. Very loud and tables a little close, but overall a wonderful dining experience. Ambiance was inviting and our waiter Luke was attentive, professional, pleasant and friendly. We shared 5 small plates and each one was excellent.

Tried for the first time last weekend. Joined another couple and we all agreed I.d. Is very good. Shared Hot Chicken salad, scallops, short rib, Brussels sprouts and a margarita flat bread. All the food was very good - and the cocktails are amazing. We had Erin Z as our waitress and she did an excellent job. Looking forward to going back again!

The food was amazing but the service and timing could use work for what you pay. Part of our meal was forgotten and we seemed rushed.

Very nice place! Food was delicious. Pacing of small plates was a bit rushed; I would recommend diners to set the pace by not ordering everything at one time. I will definitely be back.

Recommend drinks were salty and warm? The portions were lunchable size and cold. My wife and I didn’t even bother to finish any of our order. Do not recommend.

Food was generally excellent , server was outstanding, diligent , helpful and kind . Ambiance generally very nice and sound level acceptable despite restaurant being quite full and we were in very center . The baked whitefish was the best . Prices pretty high on some dishes for the food quantity - we had tenderloin with the upgrade shrimp and over 50$ for a very small piece of meat ( with the20 dollar upgrade for the 2 shrimp ) was close to outrageous . We are fans of the restaurant but a somewhat mixed experience This time

We celebrated Valentines Day with our son at ID. This is our favorite restaurant in Lake Country.. Loved the scallop dish the best. Richard is an amazing server!
